I just found something else, if you exit by hitting escape, while playing the memory mode, instead of being told what your best score so far was and being aloud to submit your score, you are told how many beatcoins you've earned and taken back to the main menu, as if you'd exited from the normal game.

Well, I need enough money to purchase a Raspberry Pi. Its only about $130.00, so that should be plenty. I don't need the $1.00 unless you actually want me to build that. Thanks for the good suggestions, though. I'll speak to aprone and see what he thinks.

Re: Beatstar discussion

I really like the new game mode, but I did encounter 2 problems with it.1.  After the first track, there is no time to learn the beat of the song before the first action starts like there usually is, because the first action starts when the song does, instead of waiting one measure, this makes it very hard to deal with, especially on fast beats, as you can lose before even knowing what hit you.2.  After a while, maybe 4 to 6 actions, the actions to beat ratio gets slightly off, maybe this is because of the improper loop?  But I don't think that would be as obvious...One other thing that I don't know for sure is a bug, is the fact that the pre sound is only played for the first level, and that their is no new level sound played.Either way I really like the new mode and score board, thanks for an awesome update!I wonder, are the scoreboards pack specific? I think that would be more fun.., it wo
uld also give you an idea of how popular your pack is.My best score on my pack, for instance, TheZeddstarSoundpack, is 7.

Trivia Crack

Trivia Crack

Hello,It's been about a while since I posted here, but I was curious to know hw many people here have played a game for several platforms called Trivia Crack. It's been out for quite a while, but it recently gained popularity since late last year, I think. If there are enough posts, might I suggest that we create a separate topic for Trivia Crack cheats, spoilers, etc, like how to earn free coinsand stuff like that. The best thing about Trivia Crack is that it never, or at least it says that it never goes out of date like so many other Trivia games, since there are always new questions coming in, new translations, etc. There's even a database with a lot of answers to the questions, but you'd have to have your screen reader tell you if a particular answer is highlighted in a different shade than what it usually is.So anyhow, I'd like to see if if people are interested enough to make the game more accessible, like giving buttons proper
labels and making it more inclusive for everyone.

Re: Pipe 2, Blast chamber and other old BSC titles on windows 8.1?

ok, so still no luck. Here is what I did:I decided to test this out with blast chamber. I ran the installer both as administrator and in compatibility mode, and afterwords opened the program group with the game. There, on the pipe.exe file, I clicked on trouble shoot compatibility. I chose trouble shoot compatibility and selected this program ran on earlier versions of windows but will not install or run now. Then, from the list of versions, I selected windows xp service pack 3. I then clicked next and it asked me to test the program. Upon doing so, I found that the same exact error came up as before. Error 432. So then I closed the compatibility wizard and tried running the program again, still no luck. I even tried running it as administrator.I would really like to get these games working so that I don't have to use a virtual machine. What am I doing wrong?

Re: What do you think of a game console for the blind?

Hi Ethin.Well I cannot help as far as coding but I would be happy doing design and testing. What I mean by design is ideas on how things should be implemented and testing the project as it evolves to make it as bug free as possible.Earlier cae suggested a controller for this system. That would be a very cool thing using a controller instead of a boaring old keyboard. If you get to the point where you have a functioning console you should talk to aprone and see if he can build a remote for the system. Apparently he's really good at this sort of thing since he built the see monkey. But that's the far future. If you get a running console at first you could just focus on keyboard and mouse input as a start. Also just one more idea. If this will be a gaming platform maybe a game engine could be developed to encourage people to work on games for the system.Btw, what exactly do you need that costs so much? I don't know programming but if you hav
e linux on your computer isn't it easy enough to start modifying the system?

He did not say that everyone should use PB. He just said he's comfortable with it. Again, I ask you nicely to re-read Danny's posts.Edit:PB is not C in any way, shape or form. It does not have the syntax that C has; it does not use any C libraries whatsoever; and it does not generate C code and then use another compiler to accomplish its goal. It, in fact, uses pure assembly. Every single library is written in assembly and converted to binary code using the Flat Assembler (fasm.exe on Windows, fasm on Linux, and Yasm on OS X). Holy shit, guys. Stop flooding me with questions. To answer all of them, I will try to incorporate as much as I can, but it will be a difficult project. It will not be me alone. It will be many people working together to build this. (It would be impractical and tom foolery for me to try this on my own.)@CAE_Jones, I hope to incorporate as much of what you suggested as I can. It will be a raspberry Pi, as that is the cheapest and most configurable and experimental machine I can find. (Unless, of course, you guys want to donate $1.00 for me to build the worlds best personal gaming console? Yeah. I didn't think so.) Let's take this one step at a time.1. I see you guys want me to build it, or at least fund it.2. If I were to start this, who would volunteer to help me out? I need a team that is dedicated to what this project will promote and what it will do. I need a team who will focus on this project only, as it will be tough work and they probabl
y won't be able to focus on anything else. Of course, I'll let them do that if they want, but I need people who will not betray me or not focus on the project for long durations.Once step 2 is completed, we'll slowly work towards step 3, and that's actually starting the funding. Finally, step 4 is purchasing the hardware needed, and step 5 is engaging the project itself.

Re: What do you think of a game console for the blind?

(Ah, missed where you said you were building on Debian. Well, and I was working on my previous post when post 3 came in. Anyway, hopefully some of this makes sense? I think I'm jumping the gun by a lot.)OK, take 2, with headings:HapticsWhat I want is a super awesome haptic feedback controller that manages to retain the basic controller shape that's been around since PC and PS1 took the SNES controller and made it twice as thick. Or possibly an alternate scheme with a touch output device and a controller that can function one-handed. Or, even more insane, a tactile display on top of something like a braille keyboard (as in, most of the buttons ina  row for easy switching between viewing and input). These are horribly impractical and I think I might be a minority or a minority in this regard.I don't know if stereo vibration is practical in a non-clunky controller. I'd like to see it attempted, if it hasn't been already. It h
as the advantage of being pretty straightforward and intuitive compared to the other haptics techniques no one has managed to commercialize that I want to play with. But practicality, man.I don't know what experience you have with this sort of thing, but I get the impression that jumping into something innovative on the haptics end would be crazy enough to derail the whole thing, so practically speaking, it should probably stay minimal for now. If this happens and you can stick with it, though, I'd at least suggest setting it up so that the possibility of supporting arbitrary haptic devices is available in case of future products.I could summarize the i/o methods that I know about, if desired, but I don't want to get too far off topic.Audio/videoWould this be intended as a TV-based device? Handheld? Other? There are loads of audio output devices: traditional line-out headphones, USB headphones, random speakers, surround sound systems,
televisions, anything intermediate to a television (I have no idea how these work anymore; I haven't had to hook up a console that way on anything newer than a VCR). All of these can have any number of channels. Heck, you might even find a use for supporting MIDI devices (disclaimer: is probably joking about that one. Probably.)So, how many ports does it have? USB, line-in/line-out (microphone support?), HDMI? ... Dare I say, RF?How about video support? If you can have at least enough graphics support to be interesting to the sighted, it might be more popular. I don't mean in the sense that sighted gamers would be especially into it; just being able to play with sighted friends and family would make it more attractive to more players.(under-the-hood possibility: if there are any libraries for game developers to use, and there is graphics support, some defaults that draw basic shapes appropriate to the library would be better than nothing.)(Might y
ou include some sort of MIDI driver, with support for higher quality sound fonts? VST? RAM and disk space are cheaper now than they were 20 years ago, but if you're building physical products on the budget you can get from Kickstarter and hoping to get them built and distributed, you'll find that everyone likes to pay less. Might be irrelevant if said features wind up taking up more resources than recorded music, without resorting to lower quality synths.)(Ooh, on that note, synthesizers. Because everyone likes to play with synthesizers! ... Hardware Synthesizers? Hmm.)I'm imagining the ideal setup being similar to mainstream consoles, maybe with better headphone support. So the most interesting details in this regard are more under-the-hood.Overall ConcernsI pause here, to reiterate the market problem. This would be cool in theory, but in order for it to work, there need to be plenty of games, and plenty of people to play them, otherwise
you built a cool toy that will spend most of its time sitting on a shelf as a monument to your ability to build cool junk.Kickstarter is awesome because it is a clever commitment device: "I want to support this project, but only if it succeeds, so instead of giving you my money, I promise to give you my money only if enough people likewise promise that the project is at least fully funded."Game Consoles need to overcome the same problem: they need developers to create games for the console, but the developers need there to be an audience. The latest Playstation / XBox / Nintendo console are guaranteed enough of an audience that game publishers can start playing market politics by picking which platform they like most. A console designed for blind people by an individual, or even a couple people, doesn't get that luxury. So, for this project to become reality, you need to line up loads of incentives: backers need to know that you will develop, produce, and
distribute the console, and that there will be enough games for it to keep it active; developers need to know that it will get made and distributed, and that

Smugglers Help

Hi all,It's late here so I have to be a bit brief, but with NVDA object Nav I'm starting to get the hang of Smugglers. Do I have to keep switching from Object Nav to screen view? I get through the intro fine, but when the tutorial asks me to click on the trade icon, I get this thing that says mission menu and above that is the min and cancel tutorial. When I switch to screen view here I can't even seem to get that far.Any suggestions?

As far as I know it's impossible to pack files into an executable, which can be rather bothersome in applications that utilize files that can, but preferably shouldn't, be modified.@guitarman working with arrays in pb can get cumbersome at times. Look at this example where I try to access a random element in the array:players(random(ArraySize(players()), 1)). In other words, when you really start working with arrays like that, you'll have to be very careful. Also, the clipboard can come in handy, especially if you have to write similar lines of code repeatedly.Anoth

Re: Anyone interested in another racing game?

Hey all,Just thought I'd let you know. I switched testers, and the new one I have is very relyable and has helped me quite a bit today, fixing a few bugs I didn't even know existed despite my countless runs. It's always good to have a newbie at the game play for the first time and inform me of any troubles they encounter.  But this might come as an excitement to you all, I've added in player stats! That's rights, you can now earn coins if you win races, and you can level up as well, once you achieve a certain number of wins. I'm currently level 1, with 3 wins, and have 1150 coins at the moment! Amazing, right? Also, go here, because I will be posting the audio demo shortly, and this week it's somewhat different.  Word of caussion: next week, the audio demo might sound quite a bit different from the one this week. More about this will be found on my Blog on Friday's upcoming post

Re: The reality Software Network

Ethin. To prevent spam, you should probably do something like this:create a sort of captia verification. Either make it audio, or have the user give the correct answer to perhaps 3 noncomplecated math problems, or perhaps write a word backwards and have the person type it correctly. I know the latter suggestion sounds a bit ridiculous, but a spam computer is highly unlikely to be able to accomplish that task.Just suggestions to throw out there. and for the record, I'm human. And so are the two Robberts, Baylee, Scross32, Devin, Vlad25, and Crashmaster. I don't know any of the others so can't speak for them. But I have a red flag about that person, Virgilml. That name sounds spammy... but who am I to judge? That person might be a foreigner who also has abbreviated middle and last name after the first name.

Re: What do you think of a game console for the blind?

Hi.So your going to modify linux to function as a hardware gaming console? Well that will take a long time out of development at least. From what I've heard of linux there is no support for panning sound. I could be wrong about this but I've heard people say that a few times. Also I assume you will be using orca as a screen reader so you won't have to code one yourself. So if you do this I also assume you will have to run this system as a virtual machine or duel boot? It's just a suggestion but you might wat to recruit other people to work on this because it will cut your working time in half.I remember you mentioned a while back you wrote an os kernel is this part of your game console?

Re: What do you think of a game console for the blind?

The difficulty/desirability/viability are all in a grand struggle, here. The simplest way would probably involve a Raspberry Pie and... Linux or something.So... to answer the question:1. Yes, I want one.2. But I don't expect it to work out very well without lots of effort and luck and good promotion. A good platform is tricky to build, but then you need to have games for it, and you need the price to be reasonable. For a simpler example, see Aprone's Se Munkey.3. Don't ask me for what I want no one else will want it that way bwahahaha (Translation: I get along better with retro style limitations and optimization problems and ridiculous exploits that aren't the least bit human readable. Also I wanna a tactile display. I got my hands on a PS4 controller last week, and discovered it has a touch screen in the middle. And it's not a Senseg touch screen, so bleargh.)Ok, so let's pretend we all know what we're
doing for a minute and completely ignored my warning in my third list item, because now you have me thinking about Accessible Console Optimizations again. There are multiple layers to think about. There's the surface-level i/o and performance details that make up the user experience; that's the end goal.Let's ask these questions: what input/output techniques, channels, devices, etc should be supported? Would there be any graphics support at all? How about a WiFi or ethernet connection for online games? Are you going to use an existing audio system to handle the question of stereo/mono/surround sound (5.1? 7.1? Which manufacturer?)/headphones/microphones/etc?How about controllers? Existing USB devices (where do you get the drivers?) or something unique to this console (seems more like your aim, and in a situation where I know it could be done, I'd say do that one, but reality is not gentle, as mistresses go)? Would you want to do anything unique
with their design? Maybe multiple designs, even, to accommodate other disabilities or play styles? What about haptic feedback? Is there vibration? (Ahem: Immersion sounded cool for this at one point)? How about my idea of "The standard Playstation/XBox controller has two seemingly useless legs; can we put an actuator in both of them, and vibrate in stereo?" Can we put a touch screen in the middle like the PS4, but add Tixels or Bending Wave Actuators for tactile feedback? Can we stick a 4:2 Braille Display in the middle instead? Can we make it support the Novint Falcon?(Psst: a homebrew device similar to Senseg's Tixels would probably be rather cheap, if lacking all the fine-tuning they've doubtless come up with in their years of development *cough*. Even easier if the touch area ca
n be opaque.)Ok, enough optimism. Let's worry about the internals. For something like this, you'll either need to build off an open source OS or something similar (*points to Android and Raspberry Pie*), or learn how to build and include everything you'll need in C/C++ (I'd say Purebasic sounds decent for this, but I know nothing about the licenses or OS-specific dependencies involved)Audio Games can get away with a lot of corner-cutting in terms of detail. If you want to avoid supporting graphics (or at least, avoid supporting graphics better than those in Swamp), all you have to worry about efficiency-wise is your audio engine.Custom hardware would be awesome, but impractical, seeing as the single most impressive thing you could do here is build an audio processor to rival modern 3D GPUs, at which point the console is just icing. (Resurrecting the dead 3D audio hardware would be spectacular enough a feat of techno-necromancy that you wo
uld immediately be revealed as a terrible wizard.)Actually, the hardware design for the lowest level stuff here is actually kinda fun to think about. Mostly because there's probably a correct answer and I don't know it so get to compare what I know about today's devices to what I know about 20-30 year old devices.Ok, ok, this post is a long mess, and I need to go pretend I know anything about the processor-level stuff. So let's focus on the middle level: the part where game developers work. If games need to be designed for the console specifically, that presents several issues, but opens up the option of a nice high-level API to simplify access to the hardware. On the other hand, you could just write bindings to the major programming languages out there for any specific hardware, and let nature take its course.I like the "all custom, all the time" idea, but it's ridiculously impractical. The opposite end--just wrap an
open source OS like Android and throw in accessibility features--is kinda boring and pointless without the i/o being especially fun (see: the Braille2go for an example of something similar getting stuck in development hell).OK, I'ma go try to rewrite all this and actually think it through more and hopefully come back with something more coherent.

That's the tough decision, isn't it? What could I offer that nothing else does? Well, a very accessible console, for one. And this would be a hardware console, not a virtual one. And I wouldn't need a screen reader. Just Debian with some very good software engineering on my part to get it to work. I just need to know I'll get some support before I start thinking ahead. After I get enough support from everybody, I will start planning out the console. I'll then ask for some good ideas on how it should function.

Hi Ethin.Sounds intriguing. But I'll admit that would take some serious technical knowledge on your part. Just to build a console could cost thousands even millions. On the other hand if your talking about a virtual console that would run on a computer it could work. But if your going to write this from scratch this could take years especially if it's a solo project. You would have to write a screen reader, a program to play sounds and plenty more things like that. If you don't believe me there's a topic in the developers room where camlorn and I discussed building an operating system.I do have one question if you built this system what could you offer that hasn't already been offered on windows or mac?

However, I still want to create this console. what do you guys think about it? It will be just like the xBox, PS3, PS4, PS2, PS1, PSP, PSVita, etc; but it will be for the blind, with its own special features; and it won't be like any normal game console available currently. So what do you think about it?If I get good reception on this idea, I'll create a kickstarter project to fund the development of it.

Re: Beatstar discussion

Hello all,New pack available, samsung. Here are my initial impressions: a nice start, but some of the level volumes need to be lowered, I could not get past level 2 because the first part of that level is loud and I did not hear what action I had to perform. Also, the action sound for enter is kind of long, which could get tricky if he pack starts to get fast, but I don't know if that's the case yet, so maybe it'll work.

Man, this game is addicting. The Mario pack is my favorite, but the chipchune and uncensored dubstep are close seconds. I've been playing them about equally today.I don't know why, but Symphony of Science is extremely difficult. I just can't seem to map which sounds go where in my head. I don't have this problem with most of the others, but that one is really bad. It's a shame, because I liked the music I heard so far. I think I could only get to level 2 on that pack.

I wasn't suggesting everyone use pure basic, I was meerly saying pick which ever suits you, I didn't know that listing down my personal opinion on pb was such a bad thing. For the record, I do not think pure basic is perfect, their are still plenty of ishues with it. The crashes you speak of are not invalid memory pointers, they are errors on my part with the network code, and while this is partly my falt, I had difficulty in testing that bit because most of my testers were not online people or didn't come online to help test very much. Also, pure basic is not c, it is basic, their's a difference.

No I didn't. But I must say that my audible countdown timer works beautifully. What I wish I could do is make my campaign into a movie deal with you playing as a main character in a storyline. And this would mean there would be audible voices talking as in real time. And I'm not sure if the system can handel that because it would involve lots of custom voices.

Meet the updated Chromebook Pixel and the new Google Store

2015-03-11 Thread AudioGames . net Forum — Off-topic room : Trenton Goldshark via Audiogames-reflector

Meet the updated Chromebook Pixel and the new Google Store

From:http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2015/03/ … d-new.htmlTwo years ago, we introduced the first Chromebook Pixel. The idea was to bring together the best in hardware, software and design to inspire the next generation of Chromebooks. It's been exciting to see how the entire range of Chromebooks—from classroom-proof to high-end—has made a difference to people at school, at home, and at work. Today, we’re introducing an updated and more powerful Pixel to fuel the imaginations of another wave of Chromebook enthusiasts. Plus, we’ve created a new, online Google Store where you can get the Pixel and other devices made with Google, all in one place. One charger for all your stuffThese days, packing for a trip means remembering to bring all your different chargers—for your phone, laptop, tablet, watch, etc. We think you should be able to use just one charger for all your electronics. So for the new Pixel, we’ve joined forces with some of the biggest names in the industry to create a new standard for charging, called USB Type C. The Pixel is one of the first products to launch with this new standard, with more Chromebooks and Android devices following suit soon. Not only does Type-C enable multi-device charging, but it also allows high-speed data and display over the same connector and cable. It’s small enough to work with smartphones, powerful enough to charge computers, and conveniently symmetrical (no more guessing which side is up!). Speaking of symmetry, the new Pixel doesn’t just have one Type C port—it has two, one on each side, so you can plug in wherever is convenient. Thoughtful designLike the original Pixel, the new Chromebook has a high-resolution touchscreen, a sleek aluminum body, and smooth glass trackpad. We’ve also made a few other enhancements, including a new wide-angle camera lens. Of course, the Pixel is also great on the inside. It’s got a powerful Intel® Core™ i5 with 8GB RAM and a 32GB SSD. If that’s not enough for you, we’re making an LS (yup, that stands for "Ludicrous Speed") version that's even faster. And even with the new charger, you probably won’t be carrying it around much, since the new Pixel has 12 hours of battery life.* When you do need to top up, it’s fast—you’ll get up to two hours of battery life with just 15 minutes of charging.*Shop for the Pixel and more at the Google Store We’ve been selling our devices on Google Play for years, but as we’ve added more products to the family, we thought it was time to make it easier for you to learn more about them. So today we’re also launching the Google Store, the new home for the latest devices made with Google. At store.google.com, you can shop Nexus phones and tablets, Chromecast and Chromebooks, learn more about newer technology like Android Wear, Nexus Player and Nest, and stock up on accessories like cases, keyboards and chargers. You’ll see how the Google apps you already know—like Search, Maps and YouTube—work seamlessly with all these products. The Google Store is available on your phone, tablet, or laptop, and right now you’ll get free shipping on everything** (consider it our way of saying hello).Once you’ve found the right device at the Google Store, you can still head to Google Play to find apps, games, music, movies, TV shows and more. If you recently bought a device on Google Play, don’t worry—your order info will automatically be transferred to the Google Store. See our Help Center for more information. The Chromebook Pixel is available for purchase starting today in the U.S. on the new Google Store for $999 and $1299 for the LS version. Come check it out, and see what else is in store.Posted by Andrew Bowers, Director of Consumer Hardware*Battery life tested using Chromium standard PowerLoadTest at default brightness. The PowerLoadTest was created to emulate average user behavior and measure the resultant battery life. Charge time testing is measured by battery capacity increase with lid closed divided by average energy usage during PowerLoadtest. Battery life and charge time may vary depending on usage and other conditions.**Free shipping applies to the lowest cost shipping option. Free shipping promotion may be modified or discontinued at any time.

Then I want to make it so the other folders like music and programs folders are aloud to download. I have seen this done before but am not sure how to do it. Do I have to change permitions on the folders if so what do I doo?

How to downgrade to the previous version of the Google TTS

2015-03-11 Thread AudioGames . net Forum — Off-topic room : afrim via Audiogames-reflector

How to downgrade to the previous version of the Google TTS

Hi all android users here,So I wanted to explain, (probably you know it better than me), how to downgrade to the previous version of the Google text-to-speech engine. When this actual version was released, you heard some changes. Some of you may like, but I myself don’t like them at all. The voices sound like your 3.5 MM jack is destroyed and you need to repair it, but in fact the problem falls on the google TTS engine. That’s clear. At least for British voices. So, if you want to downgrade to the last version of Google TTS, just go to the playstore, type on the search field “google text-to-speech”, and after you’ve found the results, click on the right one which is run by Google. Then, tap uninstall, and click OK in the prompt which worns you for uninstalling all updates to the Android system. It will certainly uninstall the update, and you will also be able to install the High-quality voices, which didn’t show up in the Install voices data list.Hope you find it useful.Peace , out!

Re: Is Learning 2 Programming languages at once possible?

If I were you, I would go on with python and look into learning pyglet.python has the nice ability that it can connect with C and C++, so that is why camlorn has 2 windows open.In c++ it takes over twice the number of lines than it does in python to do anything. The classic example is hello world:python:print("Hello world")c++#include int main(){std::cout << "Hello world" << std::endl;return 0;}Then you need a compiler and all kinds of things where as with python, you don't need to worry about that till you know the language and have a game you wish to distribute. But in pyglet, it is super fast to create a screen:import pygletwindow = pyglet.window.Window(caption="My window")pyglet.app.run()As for learning 2 languages at once:I always compare languages to python, so when I work on the backend o
f my website in PHP, I always am thinking how much better python is. Same goes for _javascript_.C++ is a little different because my goal is to do things fast in C++ then return the results to python. But also, I can see python in C++, it is very very clear.I think one may get a little lost if they tried to learn _javascript_ and python together, but something syntactically different like c and python should be fine. But learning French and Italian at the same time is almost impossible as I found to my dismay!

Hi. I can imagine for those who have no sight at all it would be easier at night as the sound in some areas is indeed clearer, however like cinnamon I find it more difficult sometimes. I think this is because I have pretty good light perception, and therefore when it's dark I automatically feel "more blind..." It's hard to explain.

Well, my talk back was updated yesterday to talk back version 4.1, it says it has fixed some bugs or whatever they call them, but I encounter an issue. The problem is, when I installed talk back, it's true that the speed of stopping the engine when reading an article was improved, but when you try to go back to Homescreen, it will keep reading that article, and it won't say that you're going to homescreen. that's what annoys me.maybe I need to upgrade to Lollipop, but it's not so old; it's Kitkat version 4.4.2.Hope they fix this

Your stop timer executes before any of the events fire. You need to change the last 3 lines into this:block time event m=0 s=10radio=your commanding officer says, Do you copy?stop timerend eventWhen I do something like this, what I generally do is put it all into one event with a huge stack of ifs, such as:new var script=1+-1+block time event m=0 s=3if script=1 then radio=Monkeydude says. Hey, [player.name]!if script=2 then radio=Monkeydude says. What's up?if script=2 then stop timerif script=3 then radio=Monkeydude says. Watch out for Dires!if script=4 then radio=Monkeydude says. I'ma hide in the truck.if script=5 then radio=Monkeydude says. Good luck!if script=5 then stop timerif script=6 then radio=Monkeydude says. All right! We sure showed them!add script by 1set timer m=0 s=0end eventThen events that start scenes will start the timer, and if necessa
 ry, set script.

How to channel chi into people's bodies  and make sure you heal rather than harm?No not chi gong lessons. I'm 15, meaning there's still a long way to go for school so.The funny thing is I managed to channel chi into someone las ttime when I meditated;I placed my hands on that person and tried to concentrate chi into my hands through them. Re: Is Learning 2 Programming languages at once possible?

I tried to just answer the question, but this thread is now perpetuating the outright myth that Purebasic is in any way a good thing.  At all.Purebasic is not like C.  Purebasic is C.  They are almost one-for-one the same in terms of features, just Purebasic gives you some nice syntax and built-in libraries.  In every thread that talks about Purebasic, you can safely mentally replace it with C.  You can get the Purebasic features by just installing C libraries. You have written an online game in C.  Congratulations.  But you're not going to be fixing the core problems with it.  Security and lag must be fixed in the code on day one or it's too late. And you're not only going to keep writing your stuff in C, you're suggesting that everyone else should too.  All those crashes you have?  I'd be willing to bet over half of them are what's called an invalid pointer.  Invalid pointers are
a C problem.  Other languages at least tell you what really happened and don't let you accidentally clobber the stack because you incremented a variable once too many times.  But you've also given up actually being in C, which lets you use the world of C libraries.  So yeah, good luck with that.If you are thinking about using Purebasic, then go learn about why people consider C to be a liability and stop.  Everything there applies to Purebasic too.  Everything.

Agreed on audio defense being awsome and highly addictive, certainly the best action/arcade game for Ios thus far. I haven't tried dimentions or inception so can't speak of those specifically, I'd recommend some of the choiceofgames and hosted games titles though, sinse some of the free hosted games are fantastic, and mostly the ones that charge are well worth paying for. Also while we're talking free games, star traders rpg is the free version of Elite. It's got about half as many planets, only a third of the available starships and I don't believe you have access to all of the enemies but there is still plenty there to play with.

Re: Abe's oddysee new and tasty

hi everyone, I'm really impressed with the recording, it seams to me that the game is very playable for us, since there's a lot of sound to indicate something like bombs or other objects.I'll difinitelly download it.

I understand it's going to take a bit though—I mean, you have Sylph Co., which is huge, Saffron Gym and the Fighting Dojo, two gift Pokémon, and that's only the stuff I remember from the walkthrough I read. Trust me, guys, this next bit's gonna be fuuun.Simply AWSOM!    Seriously though, can't wait...

Re: Death match a new beginning, online roleplaying science fiction MMO

I have to say this game is really nice. I've only played it a few times here and their, But I would be interested in doing some bounty missions. Also I think the news thing sounds cool. My name on their is William if anyone wants to find me. I am still getting use to the coordinates system, It will probably take a while since stuff like coordinates isn't really my strong suit, but practice makes perfect as they say.

Re: Death match a new beginning, online roleplaying science fiction MMO

Hi all, it is my grate plesure to announce the new update for dmnb has arrived! Please read the change log, but here's just a brief summery of what's new. Brand new, in game help system accessed with f2. If a help file gets added, you don't even need an update. New galactic in character news system, accessed by pressing n. Brand new missile system. Note, missiles will only be on select ships as i'm still deciding what ship classes i'm wanting them on, any suggestions here would be awsome, but if you want feel free to request a warhead launcher and i'll stock your ship up with missiles. Removed the trade commodoties option from the global galactic network market menu, and replaced it with 2 new options, reload ship's warheads and request refuel of ship. Note! You must be docked at a shipyard in order for these last 2 functions to work, or else they won't, obviously. If your fuel runs dry, the apu system will flatline leaving you adrift in deep space if you are in it, so I suggest checking the near by sensors for fueling outposts which also act as shipyards, do note we will try our best to populate deep space with these new outposts as we can. Speaking of which. If anyone is intrested, i'm gonna try to do a few bounty missions layter once I get up, if you all wanna join the crew and gain a few credits, pluss fight off a few of the enemies in an rp event, that would be awsome as their's a credit reward in with it as well. To grab your copy of the update, get it from the first post or this link https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/266 … bsetup.exe
