yes. but if we'd start building, we'd actually have a Problem because from what i know, to build something you actually Need to place the blocks yourself. Well I suppose it could work if the modder creates a blueprint for say a Strip down house which has a few rooms and there should be enough space to both store items and furniture and stuff. If what I'm saying is not acurate I can't do much about that, I'm not much of a minecraft expert. The modder could get the Screen Reader to just tell you where to place the blocks, but leave the nature of the block to the one building.

Read the readme it explains some things.To kill him yo ubasically need to jump to his right, turn left by pressing the left arrow once, and shoot him with the lazer multiple times until you hear him coming closer. Then jump to your right again, turn left, and shoot. Continue this and you would be able to finish him off.Tip: charge your lazer to 5000. And you don't really need 19 attack to kill him...

Rollplay is something your style, whoever you wanna be, whatever you wanna be. It's not strctly necessary to do like people, but if you want the tips, I have something to suggest. I don't use the same way of course, yet still.1. If you want yourself to be that part of your chractr, think of your character in the world. What do you wanna see yourself being in that world, and how. Background story isn't that important, but if you want one, think of your happy past and remake somthing that suits tthe word you're in. You won't forget it for sure.2. If you want someone, or the character you like to walk that earth, simply make a story out of him/her. The personality is something you should take a look. Choose something that's not far from yourself, or whatever you think you can do, or your character can be. In fact, your charcter can b anything, depds on what roll you set him to be.

I'm not quite sure what songs could be used, but the action keys could be different operating system sounds, like critical error, the menu opening and closing sounds, and so on.

@Dark, it's been a long time since I read the Blish novelizations, but I recall them being terribly monotonous and laid out more like a movie script than anything else. Of course that might've just been because I was reading them with keynote gold... I thought Q-Squared was okay, though I get tired of the "superbeings come in and muck about with everything" plots, and I'm not a huge fan of his writing style. I found Vendetta to be very slow and hard to get into until the very end, but it's been a long time since I read that too. I think Vulcan's soul might be available as unabridged audio somewhere, but I don't know for sure.

EA sports UFC is mostly playable, however there is one thing we are unable to do, and that is slipping strikes. You need to move before the strike hits, It can be done, its just very hard. Dodging strikes is pretty easy, just flick the left stick in random directions. But to slip strikes, you need to press l2 as well as flick the left stick, I know it can be done, I am just struggling. Otherwise, everything else is doable, even the ground stuff but it is a little hard to tell which position you land in when you perform a takedown, but just listen to the commentary, they usually tell you what position you or your opponent has moved to.HTH

What does the error Component 'DXKEY.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid mean? I get it when trying to run Pipe 1.0, not classic pipe on windows xp, 7, and 8. I have the media components, com audio, and direct x installed. Also, all the other bsc games, including the newer version of Pipe1 work.

@Dardar your welcome, there aren't many and it is a genre that I'd love to see expanded, indeed I'm still hoping Aprone will give us a full scale castaways two with entire civilization building. As  Mirage said, Parkboss is a great step in the right direction, but as usual with accessible games there is more that can be  done.@rori, Lunimals is more management than building I think sinse you don't actually construct anything during the game, just continually manage your evolving populations of animals in your biodome, a fun task though that is.@Milo, I'd have personally said myself rise of chaos is more about combat than building sinse the only thing you build are houses forts and weaponry, there is no need to build different sorts of production buildings or other structures for your people, indeed I confess this is why I lost my own interest in the game sinse it just seemed another combat pounder like lords and knights, 1000 Ad, Tr
 ibal wars etc. I'd personally love to see a game more similarto castaways where the building itself! was the challenge with dynamic task completion so that you couldn't just say hit "build x houses" and assign some builders, but had to think about accidents, weather, carting materials, keeping your people fed and other details dynamically as you played, eg, once you had the bricks for the walls built you could stop collecting clay and stone for the bricks and set your people to something else while your thatchers and carpenters moved in to finish the roof and doors. Still, we'll see, parkboss came right out of the blue so who knows what will be next.

I just had a crazy idea.

So I was playing minecraft, and I just had the best idea, and I don't know how great it would be...Alright, if you guys would be cool playing with a mouse, I was thinking of some ideas to actually make the game accessible.Minecraft is super moddable too so maybe we could make this work.Anyways, in the game, you move the mouse around to change what your eyes are looking at. W moves your body forward, A strafes left, D strafes right, and D walks backwards. And each time you hover over an item within the vicinity, it highlights the block. Well, why not replace that with the block's name in the screen reader? And when you hover over items of the same type, it will just make a little sound cue to let people know what it is.I was thinking that it would be a really interesting mod for visual players as well, to play blindcraft. Hahahaha!Also I would improve the audio so that you actually hear things when they're near you properly (for exa
 mple in the regular game you can hear monsters through walls as if there was no wall there... very annoying). It really throws me off while playing the game, but if I improve it, it will make the game a lot better. Oh, and offer a wider variety of sound effects, to make it easier to mine and explore.And regarding the crafting, let's see if we can make a menu based crafting system so that you don't have to imagine items visually. lolAlso this isn't in the game, but have it tell you if a mob comes in your line of sight and its distance, or anything else you should need to "see" from far away.Anyways I'm a bit drunk right now, sorry! Oriol, I have uploaded a new pack. But I have renamed it before uploading because it didn't have an English name. So I uploaded the pack, launched  the game, and saw that my pack was not working. I had done 10 levels, got mad, tried to fix the levels over and over and over and over and over again, and that's what I get, for just trying to translate the pack name into English? So if it doesn't work for you, let me know and I will upload the pack with the Turkish name, sorry, because it doesn't work the other way.

I use notepad as well to write down coordinates. I find that works very well when mining newly discovered asteroids, or targeting pirate ships in deep space. I alt tab between the game and notepad windows with ease, so this system does work. Also, which planets are confirmed to be crackable? I know Bakuan5 is one of them. A help file on crackable planets might be useful.

Hi duglas.Hmmm there were several deathmatch games origionally.By the fact you are asking I can assume you are new.Deathmatch1 started as a bgt game, there was a 2d version and a 3d type fps started but due to issues and such never finished.Another one was started with the current engine we use now, but there were problems in the code though a lot was done.After that deathmatch1 was rewritten and released.Sadly we found problems with the sound library we use buffering sounds and causing issues with things.Deathmatch new beginning is the online game in development.Deathmatch2 is the prequel to deathmatch1.I have access to reality software private servers, and so I have seen the start of the new game.deathmatch2 right now is not much but there is a beginning to it.Basically its before dm1 came out.As most of reality software's attention is focused on the online version I don't know when more offline ga
 mes will come.but that's basically it.

Some really good comments on this topic. As you all probably know I'm a major Trek fan, though alas, I really have little use for most of the original series episodes. For one thing they're so hard to follow, for another the sounds were awful, and for a third... They're just not meant for today's audience. I love TNG, DS9, and Voy though. TNG is just so varied in what it covers, DS9 is, as Dark said, a chance to examine the dark side of the Trek universe, and Voyager is just fun. Enterprise I've got mixed feelings about, since they break a lot of things with it. However, it's amazing how Star Trek literature rose to the challenge, and how well new books have incorporated that series into the overall Star Trek timeline. Speaking of which, that timeline is the only one that exists as far as I'm concerned. I'm not even calling the new movies Star Trek, because they're not.As far as Peter David's books are concerned, Vendeta and
  Q-Squared are pretty good, because David was still working within the existing TNG series. However, if you guys ever read his own New Frontier series, you'd be appalled. Sword-wielding princess from a fallen empire, rogue-like captains, and just an overall disgraceful approach to Star Trek. I used to find those books awesome originally, since I thought the writing style was witty. Nowadays I've come to recognize it for the cheap and immature writing style it is. Besides, it's basically a weird mix of Star Wars/fantasy in a parody of the Star Trek universe.Finally, I must say I find Star Trek's sound design to be some of the most rich and multi-layered sound design in pretty much all of sci-fi. The level of detail is utterllly unreal, and beautiful to listen to. Mind you, I'm talking about sounds from Star Trek TNG onward, with the exception of the new movies. When I first saw the 2009 movie I was horrified. All of the subtlety of Star Trek's pre
 vious sound design was gone, replaced by crude, in-your-face bangs, crashes, and roars. Also. Phasers! Are! Not! Blasters! Leave those to Star Wars! Erm. Sorry, had to let that rant out. Anyways. One of my favorite hobbies to date has been trying to recreat, either through capturing them from existing episodes or recreating them from scratch, as many Trek sound effects as I can. I mean sounds that are clean, detailed, and not overlayed by music or dialogue. To that effect, I have managed to recreate detailed sequences of every single major Starship bridge from Star Trek TNG onward, as well as a number of other sounds that I'm reasonably sure you can't find in any other Star Trek sounds depository out there. I wish I had a reason or project to use these sounds in, but for now, I simply get enjoyment out of getting them at all, and occasionally I use them in some of my mods, like my personal copy of Danny's Project Alpha. Well there isn't anything exactly where you build a tower, but there are some building games that occur to me. Given you've already played castaways, My first suggestion would be parkboss from  Na soft: http://www.audiogames.net/db.php?id=Park+bossYou get to build and manage a theme park including building rides and doing maintenance on them, as well as paying workers, building toilets and snack stands and such, it's free and has some great sounds and voice acting. Then for Ios there is solara, see http://www.audiogames.net/db.php?id=Solara the game is more about fielding a team of heroes who fight various monsters through an ongoing story, however another big part is managing the tower of your castle and building various shops that generate food and gold letting your heroes venture out more often, the game's descriptions of ar
 twork from the shops to the outfits are also great. Then, it's not exactly a building game, but if your interested in recipes, combining and making things try revelation from Aprone http://www.audiogames.net/db.php?id=Revelation you get various objects and have to combine them together, for example making fire is quite an involved process, the aim is to see how much you can discover. I'd describe it more as discovery and crafting than streight up building but it's worth a try. Lastly, there are two muds that occur to me where building is a huge part of the game, the first is wayfar1444, http://wayfar1444.com/ which is all about building a space colony, you can put up houses and other structures, and harvest resources from the wilderness of various planets to build up your colony, and some of the building projects are quite complex. bringing the topic back, I'm here to report some more news for mortal combat X:recently, I open IGN and I'm quite surprised with the news: mortal combat X delayed on PS3 and Xbox 360, but all 3 versions(PS4, Xbox one, and PC) were uneffected.the developer for the ps3 and Xbox 360 is not netherrealms anymore, but now it's replaced by high voltage software, said the director of warner brothers. interactive entertainment to IGN.for the good news, 2 more characters revealed, kenshi shinok and one more, I don't know the name of it.

hello, I just edited my first post so please take a look at that. aaron, the improvements actually aren't very hard to say. sometimes, if you Need to click on something, it won't be classified as a link. in that Event, you can still press enter or space on it. when selecting a crime, hit space or enter on the Radio button, not on the crime Name. And, I also don't mean that its impossible to Play tc using IE, its just optimal for firefox. the reason I said that Firefox is optimal is because some stuff gets hidden with Internet Explorer. Playing with IE thus makes the Screen less cluttered, but it also hides the search bar which means that you can't search for any Player, faction or Company when using IE. To select Tabs, you can ither use the browse mode or you can go one up from the Tabs and press tab. now you can select the tab with the up and down arrow keys, confirm with enter and press escape to get out of the list of Tabs. the tricky part is when selecting 
 the area of the City. when you want to go somewhere in torn city, first you Need to activate the quick links tab. you can still see the places on the map (the Buttons), but clicking on them does nothing. after selecting the quick links tab you should get a list of districts, also in Tabs. However when you select those, they don't actually Show the things in the district so you'll Need to do it another way. first, go into tab selection just like you would do at other times. but this time instead of selecting with the arrows, you Need to use tab and shift tab to move through links you can only see in browse mode. These are the places in the districts. be prepared to waid past many other links if you want to go to somewhere in the east side or something. now if buying ammo was possible which is the last bug that Needs to be looked at, this game could be played again. for the ammo Thing look at my first post.

hello, I tryed torn City again today, and from what I've seen there have been huge steps Forward Access wise. The game is now very playable again, however I recommend using NVDA and Firefox, other combinations will make the game unplayable again. So I'm glad to say that the Moderators and db Editors can leave the torn City entry in the db, however it might be good to mension the requirements for a better playing experience on the db page for anyone who might stumble on it./edit: I'm afraid that buying ammo is currently not possible. I'll look into the matter and see if I can't find another solution, though.

Hi,Well, going back would be quite fun.Imagine you would drive and an oponent is behind you.I would rturn aaround and drive back until I am right ahead of him. Afterwords I would turn back so he is alined right behind me.He would than, bump me from behind and push me forwards, making me faster and slowing him down at the same time so that I can accelerate faster when I need it.BTw: when we make it like that, you should implement different engines which have different power strenghts so they can get faster or have better acceleration speeds.Greetings Moritz.

@Burak, I agree, I was just trying to explain the logic behind topspeed, if you are player 8 and not in a custom vehicle, it can be ridiculous on some tracks to even have a chance to win. So yeah, it doesn't seem fair.

Then you're doing something incorrectly... because once you hear that beep, hit control and hold down the right arrow to jump over the gap to the door and you should go straight through it. You shouldn't have problems if you defeated the first major boss of the game. If you could record exactly what you're doing, that would be more helpful... but it just sounds to me as if you're either timing your jump properly or falling into the gap for some other reason.

yeah I believe topspeed does have you lined up bumper to bumper rather than side by side. I wouldn't have a problem with that if it wasn't random, if you had to do a qualifying race to determine your position in the single file line, that would be cool, I believe that's what NASCAR does.

@turtlepower, have you checked out my blast from the past soundpack? It's probably not precisely what you're looking for, especially not the first few levels because the music is a bit more relaxed early on, but you may like it.Sadly I don't really have any TV or gaming console sounds.I don't know who made the pipe pack, but I like that one except for two things. First, the end of a level sound is far too long IMO. Second, which is more subjective, but did you really have to put in the really scary bee sound? LOL!

Hey gang. Not sure who might know about this but I thought I would just throw the question out there and see if anyone can help. I have a zip file containing non-unicode characters, in this case Korean... and my system locale for non unicode programs set to Japanese. Trying to unzip these mp3s gives me a bunch of scrambled characters that make no sense, and even the period for the file extentions is changed so the files don't even open unles I manually go through and change it myself. does anyone know what the issue is and have any suggestions as to fixing this problem? Since there are non English speakers here, I'm guessing at least one other person has a similar problem... any help would be appreciated. thanks!

@Wanderer, The rnib here in the Uk has full audio versions of all the james Blisch novelizations of original series which I have heard a couple of times. I wouldn't however say they're terrible, not knowing what I know about James Blisch and having read some of his other work. He was a very serious sf crytic and long time editer of Amazing stories, and was responsable for launching the careers of such people as Frederik Pohl and Robbert Silverberg in the early fifties and sixties, and he new quality when he saw it. His own original stuff is so different from the campy shenanigans of startrek it's unbelievable. What I'm getting at is, I get the strong impression Blisch was having a rip roaring good time and not taking the stuff so seriously himself, not with the quite deliberate moving to writing of all the inequities of the original series, the many beautiful women for kirk to romance, the fact that red shirted "Enterprise security" die so frequently 
 and the crew rarely react, the fact that Kirk's fist could punch out anything, all are faithfully replicated by Blisch indeed my brother and I have come to refer to any manly overblown punch as a "punch in the jaaa!" (and not jaw), from Blisch's favourite phrase for Kirk's combat ability. Unfortunately Bard and Bookshare are not available outside the Us, and besides I really wouldn't want to read trek (or indeed anything with rythm and dialogue), with a synth. The Peter David books I read in braille, and I actually really enjoyed Q squared and Vendetta, even if I did feel David's dialogue was a little off (the characters rarely spoke like their tv counterparts, I can't for example imagine wesley crusher using the word vacuous to describe someone), however I did enjoy the ideas and action sequences, and the fact that David wasn't afraid to have bad stuff happen to his characters (the original series novel Probe I mentioned was entir
 ley bad for that). I wouldn't say the first episode of voyager is a good place to start, particularly sinse it relies on at least some of the ds9 continuity in terms of who the Maquis are etc. I'd recommend either starting at the start of next gen (albeit the first series had a few rather overblown episodes). @Guitarman I can't speak on the models sinse despite having a massive figure collection when I was little I didn't own any startrek ones, however one thing I do agree about jj abrams is that he's good at flogging a horse. the first series of heroes was actually rather  good, with all the co
 ntrasting characters getting involved in the plot albeit the continual sublimation of anything and everything! into the ever expanding plot monster got a bit much, however to do a complete reset in the second series, have everyone go their separate ways and then just repeat the same disaster scenario was the point where I gave up. Given Abram's record and what hollywood usually do I wouldn't be surprised if the film begins with the attack on the new republic by the second empire lead by palpatine's father who is yet another dark Sith lord and must be defeated by the son of Luke Skywalker who is also conflicted given that his father disappeared fighting said second evil sith Lord and now the sith lord's right hand man is a black clad cyborg with a breathing problem called Darth rader . Still we'll see, you never know it might be surprisingly
  good, albeit I really! think the entertainment industry has gone very meh at the moment with endless prequals, plastic heros and very little original.
