In general it seems Siri has a lot of generic I dont understand type responses or what do you mean by that which arent that good and only a few funny ones. Just in case you get the stock answer, the bit that amused me with siris answer to I love you was that it gave the response I bet you say that to all your apple products! which is just wrong on so many levels! .

hi. Yep I read the tips and tricks section of the manual, I was just surprised that the particle beam was less damaging than I thought. That game was whacky, everything was going very well until a hit from a gamma meant my droid went boom, and the delta pilots then did exactly what I wouldve done in that situation, taking pot shots and running away to repare, the Douchemongers!  when I do it its clever, when they do it its scummy . Still game was fun, and I got to see some gammas that time as well . Well you make your own stack and just add or remove them.Because pygame doesnt allow you to listen for different events you need to catch them in the for loop. Well, if you can stay calm when stuff is happening, thats a good start. Also, you have to keep your admins in line, I havent seen any admin abuse as of late, but i did when the game was newer, so just give the adminships to people whom you trust, and if you start to have doubts about someone, give them the boot. Now, you cant have admin coverage 24/7, well, unless you had a paid staff  so allow good players whom you trust to tell you things, if they spot admin abuse, people breaking the rules and admins notdoing anything about it, etc. listen to them. And then you will have to judge for yourself whether theyre telling you the truth or not. I just started back into the game, Im Brendt now, as I am on most games and muds.

If you dont know any Japanese, I would recommend listening to the walkthrough of the game. Its on here, someware, in a topic called fighting cores walkthrough. Most of the Japanese sounds like English, and the only Japanese you really need are the numbers. I use the pimsleur lessons to learn more Japanese, but thats not necisery if you just want to play and not learn the story. Also, I dont know if the mission I am stuck on is in the beta that people might have. I dont know if the version that I downloaded a couple days ago is new, or if Im just getting farther. In the older version, I could only play 2 stories and maybe 3 missions.

Jeremy Here:Hi Dark,The particle beam is the longer range weapon, and it is somewhat weaker than the neutrino cannon. Further, range impacts all weapon systems damage output (except for rockets obviously). As a rule, I use the particle beam on badly damaged systems at range if the deflector on an enemy fighter is destroyed or nearly destroyed. That said, the particle beam can be a good chip away weapon, especially if you want to keep your distance.Alphas are significantly nastier than most of the other fighters, one reason why level 7 is sometimes more challenging at first. Its often the first time a player encounters an alpha, and so provides a rather steep learning curve. That said, I suspect you got very very unlucky. Enemy rocket fire is the thing that always makes me clench up personally. However, with the manned fighters they can occasionally take more intelligent computer assisted shots, and those ar
 e nasty, especially when ones deflector gets knocked out.The manual does have a tips and tricks section that has some info, but I dont recall if I put a weapons comparison anywhere in the manual specifically. In pygame one needs to loop through the event system. In pyglet you add an event listener or a screen and it does all this for you. In pygame there is a small delay because the main loop is weighting for the listening loop to run again. Same thing goes in panda3d. This whole idea is done for you!

Well, its done, Im now running full time on the SSD! Gawd I hate reloading Windows!For fun I put the old hard drive back in and timed a few things like starting up, starting a fewprograms right after booting, and a few other tasks. Then put the SSD back in and timed the exact same set of tasks. On average, with theh SSD in the system, the various tasks took about half the time they did with the hard drive.In a word, Ill take it!

Greetings Zakc93.In that case, I will happily revise my belief system. You used the scientific method to bolster your argument and I cannot argue against that. In this case, its good for me to be proven wrong. Now, you might be surprised that Im not protesting your claim as a creationist should. Although I was born into a religion, Im a spiritualist and I dont consider myself truly tied down by any single religion except for those parts I choose to follow. The difference between spiritualists and religious folk is that although we both utilise faith, spiritualists are able to adapt and change if science can disprove or prove part of what we believe. The only reason why I didnt say our entire belief system is because right now, it is impossible for science to do that but if in the future it does, then we will follow accordingly. Personally, Im hoping that science can prove the existence of God or the gods. If it disproves that then I would
  be very afraid because that is the central keystone of my entire belief system and I wouldnt know what to do. If on the other hand science proves it, then I would jump for joy because God is a being Ive invested all my good emotions in and who I love dearly. I would gladly volunteer for any scientific research and experimentation if such opportunity comes my way to prove or disprove the existence of God and I believe someone created a God helmet and others are talking about God particles. Well, at least I can say I tried it, but it looks like Thunderbird is going to get booted out of my system. While trying it, Ive encountered a number of annoyances and problems, some of which Ive been able to resolve, but this last one not only doesnt seem to have a solution but to most people is silly, a lot of people have been asking the development group behind Thunderbird for a solution to this since 2004 and yet it still exists. In a list of emails, everybody Ive ever heard of wants the newest emails at the top, in other words, sorted by date in descending order. Thunderbirds default is to sort by date, but in ascending order. And there doesnt appear to be a solution, there is a setting in the configuration manager that sounds like it should do it, but it doesnt. I would even accept having to set the sort in one folder and then have to option of using this setting for all folders. Not in Thunderbird! You have to set the sort order for
  each folder separately, and then remember to set it again everytime you create a new mail folder.Im giving up. It seemed like Thunderbird would work, but it has too many things that need attention, and I have better things to do than fight with an email client.Now its a choice between the current Windows Live Mail, the 2009 version, Outlook Express 6, or Outlook 2007.

Yep, well it only took me one round to decide I fancied the game :d. An alpha got me in basically one hit where all of my systems were at %80 or higher, which was irritating, indeed I think Ill need to check the docs and think about stratogy sinse I didnt seem to do much good against the alpha. Btw, is it me or is the particle beam really weak? Yea intimate while seems costly at lower levels is maybe the most powerful skill in the game late when monsters are hitting for up to 600 damage haha. You are on the right track for pets as well there will be tons of ways to collect and unlock them. Youll get them from beating the monsters themselves, finding hidden ones, achieving things (beating the game, beating the game without dieing, etc) As for the pets themselves I dont make my own art I just modify what I have so things can be limited but I think I might commission someone to do the art this is going to be a big game so dropping some cash shouldnt be a problem.

Well you can always not only adapt the game, but adapt some of the rules. You dont know the meaning of the word terror until youve played 8 player blindfold jenga .Just to explain if your not familiar, JEnga is a game where you build a tower out of little rectangular wooden blocks. You have a layer of three crosswise with the long sides across, then a layer of three lengthwise with their short sides across. When youve used all the bricks to make the tower, which I think when done comes to about 10 or so layers, each player takes a turn to remove one of the bricks from the tower and place it on the top to form new levels, obviously the one who causes the hole mess to collapse loses, but playing with 8 people, some sighted some blind as I once did on a combined skeeing holliday, but all waring blindfolds for fareness is the meaning of horror! <
 p>Yes, there were a lot of accidental collapsings but it was pretty hilarious for that reason . Of course, jenga isnt exactly a board game but it was good fun either way.

Most of the Japanese sounds like English, and the only Japanese you really need are the numbers. I use the pimsleur lessons to learn more Japanese, but thats not necisery if you just want to play and not learn the story. Also, I dont know if the mission I am stuck on is in the beta that people might have. I dont know if the version that I downloaded a couple days ago is new, or if Im just getting farther. In the older version, I could only play 2 stories and maybe 3 missions. If you still cant play, I can make a text guide for the game. It will also have a recording starting at the very beginning from configuration, to getting to that mission.

Yea unfortunately I only alloted that many item slots in the game database so there is really no expanding it (my bad). As for the item monster and skill descriptions I plan on making those quite a bit more in depth. To be honest I plan on having hints for vo that you otherwise wouldnt get. The only problem I have is I dont really know where the line of too much information is crossed and I dont want to overload people.

Jeremy here,Sneak,Its good to have finished the game. I didnt look at the mode you were in but im guessing from the low number of ships you probably were in quick mode. Either that, or just got extremely lucky/unlucky depending on your point of view.Generally for a successful game scores Ive seen have ranged from about 250,000 points to around 330,000 points. A lot of it depends on ships destroyed, what sorts of ships they are, how many bonuses you get, etc.The more manned fighters one faces, obviously the score increases. The number of one attack or two attack kills can run up bonus points as well. If you can get away without repairing your ship you can get bonus points at the end of even numbered levels by refusing replacements. There is a large bonus for a high number of ships destroyed. If you can destroy the tanker, command and control vessel, and mother ship in the fewest shots poss
 ible you get large bonuses as well. I know this is rather vague, but I dont want to completely rob the fun of other people in discovering where and how to rack up bonuses. However, Id say 279,000 is good, but not the best you could probably manage.Further, for those of you who have tried quick mode, normal mode is a slightly different experience:) Theres a lot more possible ships for instance. I wonder if they got enough funding that they could create a piece of software that could be run on the computer that one wishes to control that would allow it to be controlled without speech.. This would eliminate the need for the person who requires assistance to have NVDA installed. I personally think that would be cool because Its not really usable in a business environment as of yet, since most people arent going to install NVDA just to get assistance.This is actually something I was worried about ever since the funding began. Would this truly be something that could be used in a business environment, or something to just help friends when theyre having problems? Sorry guys, but if Im offering this for you, is because the game is completely accessible.This friends of mine that I mentioned, same as me, we are absolutely blind. IF you know the game, this is 100% accessible. We made a podcast explaining the basics and the mechanics of pokemon showdown, and we explain how to play the game using JAWS and NVDA. A Small problem is, that the podcast is in Spanish.But, in resume, the game is accessible. Is a simply simulator with html5 an _javascript_, and you can play without problems in internet explorer,firefox and google chrome. The unique requisite is that youve to maximize the window. Btw, firstly does it say in the stats what mode you were playing? if not perhaps it should. Secondly, the shortcut keys 
 dont work at all, which is a pain sinse I keep having to go and look at the distance menue to see how far away the enemy is, also I cant check number of moves left. Still, Im pretty pleased with the score, especially the number of one and two hit kills, though it seems that getting a one hit kill on any ship with a defelector is impossible, indeed you always seem to need to destroy the deflector directly first before doing any even vaguely sygnificant damage to other systems. I usually go for electrical, but that is because if I dont destroy the enemy in one hit its more likely theyll attack less effectively next turn, going for refelctors doesnt seem to hurt them ata ll, likewise Ive not noticed they take significant hassle from less than pers perfect cocpit, waste or life support systems either.btw, sometimes it seems the enemy get more actions or less, which is odd, 
 particularly on higher levels, also sometimes I seem to get fewer, which is why Id like to check the number of actions Ive got if possible. Hmmm, free satnav aps over here? The Rnib navigator has a paid subscription, and anyway as far as I know that is just a rebranded version of another program anyhow. Then again the only satnav I use myself is blindsquare which isnt subscription, it was a streight up price (I believe about 16 pounds or so), and im fairly sure that is out in the Us anyway. H, fish that doesnt taste like fish? isnt that sort of a contradiction? I admit though fish and chips generally is one of these things that many people try but few get right sinse often the fish just tastes of batter and the chips can indeed be overly soggy, however there is a happy medium you can reach where the chips are still fairly solid but not actually crispy, my local pub does wonderful chips. Likewise with the fish, if you can get propper, actually court fish that has flavour it can be fantastic! I particularly like place myself, indeed if your into lemon you should
  try a lemon soul. I also personally like mushy pease which is like mashed potatoes made of pease and served with mint sauce. It is I think one of these concepts you have to have grown up with, even some of my friends from the southern counties found it very weerd when I asked for some at their local chip shop .In general Im not a fries fan, if I want something thin and crispy,  well Ill just go and buy a packet of crisps, though I actually dont eat many crisps either come to think of it :d.Then again I do rather like sweet potatoe fries, or those little Italian herby potatoes you get in some places.Oh btw, Im about to have some awesome curry with all the trimmings, nan bread, bargies etc, so I can afford to start playing the hunger games .I spent most of today practicing songs, and alternately playing interceptor which is cool! I am learning no rhyme for richard which I saw on a musical tribute to tim rice and just had! to have a go at, its from a musical called Blondell and is all about wicked prince John (the same one from the robin hood legend), convincing Blondell to write a poem about him instead of king Richard, on the basis that Richard doesnt rhyme with anything where as Johnb rhymes with (as he puts it), the hole lexi con! its hilarious and Id love to get it right for my music school in august.

Pressing F6 you can open the document in Notepad, there you can save it in a plain text format. Pressing Control + C you can copy the text into clipboard and after paste it in other place.In future its possible to add an option to save it pressing Control + S, its easy.

Thats sounding great. One thing that slightly disappoints me in the first game is the size of the vault, meaning that you cant just craft things with one character and leave them for another indeffinately sinse someone will need the space, which means you cant really build up a full library of crafted gear over successive games with different characters, so while you can collect soul gems and do unlocks, there isnt as much by way of over all rewards, so perminantly unlocked pets as rewards for finishing achievements is a great idea.I cant comment on the art work, but some text descriptions and information on what the monsters look like an what their habbits are (monsters manual style), might be nice to have, indeed if you want someone to work on writing that sort of thing give me a buz, sinse while Im not up on programming writing is one thing I can do, and have done frequently both for this site and in terms of book reviews, article

Is there some extra information about the skills or their degree of effects when used? sinse I imagine for heavily buff based characters like clerrics this could be problematic.

IF you know the game, this is 100% accessible. We made a podcast explaining the basics and the mechanics of pokemon showdown, and we explain how to play the game using JAWS and NVDA. A Small problem is, that the podcast is in Spanish.But, in resume, the game is accessible. Is a simply simulator with html5 an _javascript_, and you can play without problems in internet explorer,firefox and google chrome. The unique requisite is that youve to maximize the window. @Jeremy, Yeah, normal mode is tougher but imho more fun, albeit that last game was a doozy, sinse again it was going rather well until that great mother put the mockers on it . Im going to have to think out stratogy for that thing, sins I tried getting in close and personal, then I ran away and did some quick repares and tried to chuck rockets at it, but they didnt seem to hit very much while the mothership had lots of long range weaponry. On the plus side, Ive found how to deal with alphas now, though admitedly that is mostly due to me getting how the evasion business works and not letting them run away . Btw, the shortcut keys dont work at all, which is a pain sinse I keep having to go and look at the distance menue to see
  how far away the enemy is, also I cant check number of moves left. Still, Im pretty pleased with the score, especially the number of one and two hit kills, though it seems that getting a one hit kill on any ship with a deflector is impossible to one shot, indeed you always seem to need to destroy the deflector directly first before doing any even vaguely sygnificant damage to other systems. I usually go for electrical, but that is because if I dont destroy the enemy in one hit its more likely theyll attack less effectively next turn, going for reactors doesnt seem to hurt their abilities at all, likewise Ive not noticed they take significant hassle from less than perfect cocpit, waste or life support systems either.btw, sometimes it seems the enemy get more actions or less, which is odd, particularly on higher levels, also sometimes I seem to get fewer, which is why Id
  like to check the number of actions Ive got if possible to know more easily what is happening. That is cool! on the information front, well hay, for me at least the more the merrier as far as atmosphere and scene setting goes, heck I once read through the entire second ed DD players manual just for the creature descriptions and morphologies .If you want to see a game that does an awesome job with vo information, Solara by Espa labs literally describes every peace of artwork in the game even down to the shops and buildings you can make and your characters costumes and what they ware.You could always put the info in several different pannels or what not, though as I said for me, and likely for a large number of other people playing with Vo as well, too much is waaay better than not enough, and it certainly makes the big red dragon of doom a lot more impressive if it has a description to match its damage figures and breath weapons.S
 ame goes for player races, pets and locations too, and a game with awesome atmosphere as well as the battle system would be doubly good and something many people in this community have wanted for years!

Unfortunately your sound card needs to support stereo mix to get the best preformance. If you dont have stereo mix in your sound settings/recording tab, then consider trying sound tap audio recorder or virtual sound cable. Here goes the readme!What is this for??If you cannot be bothered with addeing in random sound affects to your sound production file by hand, then this is the tool for you. If you put in numbered folders 1, 2, 3 (you can put as many folders as you like), and numbered files in those folders, it will work. There are 3 example folders.The sound files must be in wave format. You can press spacebar when you want a character to walk, and then record the result with stereo mix and add the recording to your sound file.Keys:Tab and shift tab navigates between folders.Spacebar playes a sound.K toggles speech while navigating foldersS toggles folder switching soundT Toggles object carrying on and offA says how many steps you walkedNumbers through one to 0 switches to the folder number you have pressed. I must admit that while Ive tried the game and enjoyed it, the demo is severely limiting and subjectively speaking not going to sell the game that well. This is simply because you can get the first level, in normal mode or otherwise, completed in roughly a minute. I think adding the second level, which Ive heard is harder and takes significantly longer to complete, would allow more of the resource management aspects to be taken in during normal mode and the fun factor to be driven home in quick mode.Additionally, I believe that if you can add paypal support it would be of great benefit to those who cant (for whatever reason) use a credit card with your system. I mean having a credit card is fine and all, but Paypal and other equivalent systems will probably be a better alternative to offer to people.I do like the game, but implementing the above suggestions if possible I think would convince me to buy it outright, whereas Im 
 currently sitting on the fence.

That is a good point Sightless combat, particularly sinse there is a good chance someone will finish the first level just fighting one epsilon ship which is a pretty easy kill and thus the game as you said be over in seconds. The second level would at least introduce the possibility of more fights, indeed I believe deltas have a chance of showing up at that point though I could well be wrong.I think adding of paypal will be up to Dentin with the guide dog client, though I agree itd be far better to have, indeed Id probably have used paypal rather than my credit card just because paypal already has my credit card details and its easier to just enter my very long paypal password than all my card details into the form even if the funding source is the same .

This is quite a cool addon. I wonder if they got enough funding that they could create a piece of software that could be run on the computer that one wishes to control that would allow it to be controlled without speech.. This would eliminate the need for the person who requires assistance to have NVDA installed. I personally think that would be cool because Its not really usable in a business environment as of yet since most people arent going to want to install NVDA just to get assistance. This is actually something I was worried about ever since the funding began. Would this truly be something that could be used in a business environment, or something to just help friends when theyre having problems? Either way, its an awesome adon, and Id like to thank the developers for creating it.

yeah when you start you should check your thirst and energy. These are the main things that let you know about how fast you can walk. Thirst and energy are on opposite ends of the scale, so 0 for thirst is good while 1000 for energy is good. So when you start out, youre probably screwed and with low energy and thirst, youll have to walk slowly. Now, the stream is to the west but first you have to go north to walk out of the beach. To tell where you are, if its daytime you should use your watch to get the time and then that lets you know what to look for when you press F to check where the sun is in the sky. The sun rises in the east and sets in the west. So in the morning, when the Phom, thing, when thats directly in front, and of a higher pitch, youre facing direcly east, and you can orientate yourself from there by using the shift left and right to turn yourself in the 45 degrees, twice for 90 degrees.Get yourself facing north, then walk until youre
  off the beach, then turn to the west and walk, you should end up near the stream, cross it, and youll be where the clay is. Then you can take the clay and make your pots and get water. Water is the most important thing, and youll keep coming back and making more pots so you can make longer ventures without having to find water.

I was just over at AppleVis looking at their blog about the new music app and the comments from their members. By far the hottest topic is that apparently you are automatically signed up to follow all the artists in your music collection. Its not known whether this is a bug or intentional. What is known is that its a royal pain to remove all the unwanted follows.I was never a big fan of Steve Jobs, but at least when he was running Apple, they werent so intrusive or made such stupid choices about what their customers wanted or didnt want.Yeah, they added their music streaming service to the music app, but they took a lot more away from it. I, for one, want the old music app back!

Hello,Which one editor you are using for writing PHP scripts?I usually use Notepad, but there are some problems with BOM symbols at the beginning of the file. And in this case I must Encode all *.php files with Notepad++ to remove those symbols. There are another serious problem with lineFeed, or enter character when Im using it within echo _expression_, because it leaves some not necessary spaces. It would be interesting to know how you solve these problems.Thanks for the help in advance.

@zakc93I had the same problem in earlier builds, kept clicking around the vehicle so I added an audio cue to help. Hm, maybe the movement of the mouse in the non-stereo version might be making it abit hard to hear.The louder the sound, the closer your mouse is to it. When the mouse is on top of a unit you should hear a beep, left click when you hear that beep and it should select the unit. When you select it you should hear the same tone beep twice quickly in response.

As I said with Tks, I personaly like the fact a game actually speaks a lot of info for once, its a nice change as opposed to listening to another synth voice and anyone who wants can always speed the speech up or play with the speech delay options to customize things, indeed as with when Im reading fiction Id personally always take a human over synth speech any day of the week. @Avidgamer, the difference between quick mode and normal mode is explained in the manual. Basically in quick mode you dont actually get the effects of different systems destroyed, so if the enemy damages your targeting computer it wont make your weapons less accurate or similar. I also believe there is a more varied selection of ships on quick mode, though Im not sure sinse Ive spent most of my time on the normal game.

}Or whatever. Oh yeah, does someone know how you could run a file and it would open it with whatever default you had set for that file? Like with what I just did above I think that would only open it in notepad, however, there are other text editors out there like notepad++ that people might have set as their default.

I would like to add: you spawn randemly. streem isnt allways to your west. go north from beach. you Will get to dirt path. go north some more. you Will get to main land. if you hear grass there, go west, if you hear clay, go east and also make some pots (you can just use your hand to pick up item and see what you got).You need to check your thirst, hunger, energy and helth. if hunger or thirst is high, you are scrued, if helth or energy is low, you are also scrued.Other things are explaned in read me (it has obvias name, heh), walters reviews and forum topic.Good luck!

Hello,I personally agree, rools document shud be there. Its anoying when rools are posted on forum, are there some time and then you no longer need to listen to them. have rools or dont even have admins. I think english version shud be the first thing in read me, so everyone sees them, and under that a note for other languages.About read me: I would like to se building guide (how to build some things: boat, paddle, hammer, speer, bow, aero, plank, etc.). Its not that I dont like to help players but it gets anoying when same questions are asked over and over again.Age isnt excuse, not for you, and not for others to blame you. If you are 13 and did a big game (a lot of adults dont know how to make them), then age is nothing there to be discused. There are also adults that sometimes act childish or teenagers that act like adults.Will mabye write some more when I remember anything else, Mayana.
