Hi everyone,@The coll gamer Read the donations page. If we didn't reach the goal for server manteinance, the game will be released for free, though there will be available content as paid DLC'S. I understand there are people who can't (or just don't want, even if I am not agree 100% with this) pay for a game.@stormer The game has multiplayer features, but probably you will be available to play in solo only, in this concept demo. I have to fix some things before a massive multiplayer release.And about post 2 and 3, that's true. I'm not sure if it would take too many time to rewrite the windows specific code, but the problem is that I don't have a mac and I'm not able to emulate it in my current machine. So I can't test or code anything for this platform at the moment.

@avidgamer firstly, I have to got to admit that I never had played swamp. So I no have idea  how it is. Secondly, I'm talking about a concept demo release, the game will be improved and I will add more features in the next months. At the moment there is no something similar to a story. The game works by creating maps which can have a diferent name. If you have played Call of Duty (or you know the game) probably you get the point. I'd like to add easter eggs later. You would need to complete easter eggs for every map for discovering the story and how characters are involved. At the moment there is a single map, and we need to work in the storyline because there are no available easter eggs yet (that's the reason why I called it a concept demo).By  the way, Another aspect which I'd like to talk is about players. There are two maps in the game, the safe  zone and the playable map. When you "create a game" you aren't entering to
  the map with the other 10 or 20 players. You create a new instance of  that map for your game only. When multiplayer mode are available, you will be able to create a game and play with up to 3 more players in your map instance. You will be able to chat with all players in your channel's language, but you will see only your team in the map.When you get a game over, the map is destroyed and the server saves some progress information about your team. This information is useful for calculating points for the user rank. But Undead Assault will not be like other games, where you are in an entire world and you scale up to the n level, and you have your weapons and stuff when you decide to open the game again. User rank will be used for statistics only.Probably in future I'll add some unlockable maps, but I have to implement some other features before.

Hello,@sean: log into the steam website with your web browser, then search for skullgirls. If you then go onto the skullgirls apge there should be a section that says downloadable content for this game, and you then can just buy which ones you want.

Hello,I encountered strange, unrecoverable bug, and probably lost my game forever, unless yukio is enable to repair my file...I was on level 12.1, difficult level.Used life booster, to double my energy.IT happened, but somehow, later game deducted my regular energy from 1470 to only 735...Its really low for upcoming levels, and I have no experience points to give to recover my energy...Damn...

I'm currently experimenting in writing games with 3 languages, BGT, PureBasic, and Python. My final choice will of course be the one that will satisfy all my needs. Here are my findings and opinions.BGT: BGT is probably the only one that has all required stuff for writing audio games (sound menus, sound positioning, speaking numbers, pathfinder, audio forms), and that's why it's made for. However, it's syntax is C-like and I prefere more easily readable syntax like the one in Python and Basic languages. Also for some game stuff, such as creating maps and enemies, you'll probably need to spend more lines of code in BGT than you'll need with Python or PB.PureBasic: I was nostalgic about BNS Basic that I've learned to use back in late 2003. So I decided to buy PB in order to experiment with no limitation and to use it for some smaller app projects. It has the ability to pack sounds into the executable, which is good if I wanna protect my
  sounds from modifying by other users. The only thing that I have to find out yet is how much time it will take for me to transition from Python to PB, since there are big differences in some parts of the language .Python: Python would be the best choice for me, I'm programming in Python for 6 years and I will not have to learn new stuff required for transitioning to other programming language. However, the one and only reason why I don't feel good at writing games in Python is that I can't easily pack and encrypt sound files like I can do it in BGT. If I ever find the easy way on how to pack and encrypt sounds so they can't be modified by users, then I will not have to look forward, and I can choose Python and Pyglet with not too much thinking. It's always easier to write the game in something that you already know to use quite well, than with som
 ething that's new to you.

by the way, my friend syntheritity (a.k.a. ultimate doomer) recently made a soundfont out of the default arl bank on the turtle beach montego2, which was the sb live's largest competitor. ARL banks, according to him, were tecnicly very similar to sf2. I'm using that soundfont with foobar 2000, and the square led sounds rather nice, it sounded like they took it from an old game console and added effects to it.

The weapons you have can kill it, but it has a lot of health, so it will take a while. The important part is learning to recognize when it is preparing to attack, so you can jump out of the way. If you really need to, you can play the previous levels again, to level up.

that, by definition, is a very difficult question.I complained about some problems of talkback on another android mailing list, and the only response I got from some android fanatics was, "Dude, if you don't like this platform and its accessibility, go ahead and buy a fucking iPhone!".how on the earth can you be satisfied with just only one good improvement per year. ShinePlus, on the other hand, is better, if you have the time to work with it a bit and figure out what it offers. Hi.Yes, it is a great screen reader with a great number of features, but there are a few things that put me off from it. I don't like how it works on the internet. I just find jaws easier to use when it comes to web browsing. I'm also still slightly annoyed with the number of addons you have to download to make this and that program to work. It waists my time when jaws can work fne with the programs. You could argue that you have to download jaws scripts for jaws applications, but all the applications I've used haven't needed them.Yes, the size issue isn't a factor. The most important thing is that it works for you. Today, 120 mb isn't huge compared to other things.

As for old computers, the first computer I remember playing any kind of computer game on was an apple 2EE and now I am posting to this topic on an apple mac book pro fifteen inch. The times has changed a lot. Having my computer portend to be a braille or voice note would be interesting. Then again, maybe having my computer run those BNS and TNS programs that some of us remember would be interesting for old time sake.

If I am remembering right from the business classes I took before I finished up at the university I went to, Size really does matter. To small you risk over working everyone on the team. you may also miss out on some really good ideas. If you have a team to big, you can easily find your self with some not pooling their weight or not enough jobs to go around. In either case, you could find your self with those who just go along to get along. those kind of people may not offer any good ideas what's so ever and may even fell to point out things that the others on the team might being missing out on. So, naturally, you need to figure out what the correct size is for the job. It seems like to me, the bigger the team, the more likely you will run into communication problems. It does look like this topic drifting a bit, but interesting none the least. I can't see where this topic goes within the next two weeks at the vary lest. As a side note, I want be back at my windows deskt
 op for the next week or two and my windows seven laptop is sluggish. So, I am typing this up on my mac. Anyway, when I am back in front of may desktop, I will go and install some of the games talked about here. Yes I some wish for more, but I will try to explore some more before complaining.

It took me awhile to figure out, but you can pack arbitrary data files like password protected zips into your executable in Pyinstaller. If you like I can explain the process, which also involves loading your assets a little differently to link to them properly at runtime.

Ahh yes, this problem again! I went through it a while ago and now more are going through it. The guide in post 2 is very good. Now, I have a few questions.First, why is all this even necessary? Is it for internet security or to know where to send the incoming network traffic or both? Second, can you host online games and have others connect if you are tethering from a phone to a computer? Thirdly, and most annoyingly, why doesn't this work in Vmware? With some help, I was finally able to track down the issue that Vmware was messing with incoming connections. Why is this and can it be solved? If not, I guess I really *do* need a physical Windows machine.I can't tell you how happy I was when I finally got things working. I had the issue from mid 2010 until about the end of last year and it felt like Christmas when stuff just worked.On a final note, I could never get the static IP to work. My router doesn't have the option to set one so I had to c
 onstantly update the port information with the new local IP.

Hi,There's a simple way to make NVDA behave more like Jaws does on the internet. In browse mode settings, uncheck the box that says use screen layout when supported. Then pages appear pretty much as you're used to seeing them. If that's not what you meant, I apologize.As for installing add-ons, I don't mind doing that at all. The way I see it, I think it's great that end users have control over just what features they would like to use to enhance their computing and screen reading experiences. For example, think of how much less space Jaws would take up on a computer if Research It and OCR were optional packages. True, hard drive space isn't nearly as difficult to come by these days, but I like the fact that if I want OCR functionality in my screen reader, I just install an add-on for it. As for Research it, well, I find that to be a superfluous and unnecessary feature personally, which is more often than not broken, and I think it should
  be up to each individual user to decide whether or not these non-essential features are things that they want. This is one reason why I'll stick with NVDA for a long time to come, despite the inevitable bugs and sometimes sudden changes that come with it being an open source project.

I confess I have something of an antipathy towards smoking generally, both on in terms of it's affects and health (remember I sing very seriously and don't want to damage my voice or lungs), and because I really! dislike the smell, especially of cigarettes. I have however used a friend's lighter to light candles when we were having a bbq and did a few experiments that way. The thing I found works best for candles at least are long cooks matches, sinse you have a lot of burn time, they're easy to light, the flame is audible as well as visible and it's fairly easy to run your candle (or I suppose your pipe or whatever), along the shaft to light them. Not sure if this helps but there you go.

Actually, I can do it anywhere in the game. This is just the only place I've found that has a perk. For example, when you start a new game it will tell you that ahead is a door and you need a bronze key one room before the door. If I have the bronze key and approach it from the south, I can get past the space before the door, past the door and get into the first combat north of the next floor before it forces me to acknowledge that I need a key. It really doesn't affect the game very much, and for me it's taught me to slow down while moving, which is a good thing.Even though I can swiftly get past rooms after combat or certain dialogue boxes, it won't work for traps. The trap will deal out damage regardless of if I pass it quickly or slowly.

Ok I decided to give this website a go.A big disappointment.During registration, if there is something wrong or missing, the form is cleared and we have to complete everything again.This is the first time I seen these behaviour. Usually the information we feel in stays on the page so we can make the corrections and send it again.It took me about 5 minutes feeling the form especially adding the about me section etc and I don't have the time to keep feeling the information again and again.Also.Greek is not listed in the available languages.The form was rejected because state was missing.Keep in mind that not all countries include states.My country Cyprus for example, only includes cities and villages.This wasn't a valid reason to reject the form.Fortunately the phone field is not compulsory otherwise I wouldn't register.Sory for being so negative at the moment.I will give the site another tr

Hi again,@Dark, I agree whole heartedly. Bumpons have always been one of those things I've found really useful.As for bed making, I too use that method for the duvet cover. I don't think bed making's ever going to be fun, but it's useful to know how to do it and if you practice it often enough, it can become quite a quick process.

Most pillow cases don't have the opening exactly at one end, usually you have to push the pillow inn and then fold the top corners over to get it in right, so when  removing it you need to put your hands inside the fpillow case, find the top corners of the pillow and extracate them through the slot before you move to the bottom of the pillowcase and pull the thing off. Getting pillow cases on is virtually the same process in reverse, stuff the bottom of the pillow in the case then either stick in your hands and grab the two bottom corners and pull down, or just shake (though shaking is a little imprecise if you don't have pillow situated). Duvet covers are a hole other sort of fun and there are innumerable ways of putting them on. The best way I've found is to turn the cover inside out and lay the duvet itself in front of you with it's bottom corners towards you. Then put your arms through the cover so your hands are at the two bottom corners,
  reach forward and grab the bottom corners of the duvet itself then bend your elbows quite vigorously. you can usually get the cover half on this way and it's only necessary to pull it up the rest of the way, though you might have to put your hands inside and streighten the thing up. You can get sheets with elasticated corners which are really easy to put on sinse you just stick the corners over the mattress rather than worrying about too much folding. In terms of bed making, generally if you just streighten up each day that's okay, but obviously when you've done the laundry and washed all the bedding it's necessary to make the bed afterwards. But I realized I had to offer my support (and a bit of advice) to Ghostrider; I've been depressed, and I knew how Ghostrider might feel. Ok, enough... back to the topic. One thing I hate about talkback is sliding in the slider area. With ShinePlus, you just swipe up or down with one finger to adjust the values, and it also, while you're sliding, this app announces the values as well. so why talkback team doesn't make talkback user's life a bit more easier? when you're sliding, talkback doesn't announce anything. and it hard to slide as well.

Okay, I've managed to use the movement (bug?) to fight the boss of the Crypt area over and over. It was found by pure accident. If you are either to the West or East of the Crypt Boss room it is possible to step onto the Boss, trigger a battle then move to a space to either side of the Boss Before combat starts. What ends up after you defeat him is you gain the experience and loot, but defeating them does not trigger the dialogue that you have completed the floor. I think this is because you are no longer standing on the Boss room when you win. So if you repeat this and step back over the Boss, you get to battle him again.Nothing really different than battling in the Infinite Arena, but for a first time player it could cause minor issues.

I had this dual flame butane torch lighter, meant for lighting cigars evenly, but the second flame wouldn't work. The way it worked is, its this small metallic thing with a curved bottom. The top was this little gate thing and it also curved up to where it met the rest of the affair. All you would have to do is press the switch, button whatever down and the little gate / guard thing would swing out, giving access to the barrels, and it would light. The trigger / switch / button thingy was a ridged thing that sort of curved to meat the contour of your finger. On the bottom were two holes. The bigger one was where you would refill the butane. The stuff comes in cans, but instead of an aerosol top button pressy thing like lysol or something, its top was nubbed. You just put the nub of the top into the hole at the bottom of the lighter, and pressed down. The valve in the can would open up and let the stuff flow into the tank on the lighter. The second hole was for a screw driver,
  a tiny one, to adjust and air / fuel mixture. It actually got to be quite dangerous which is why I drained it and tossed it. Admittedly, it could have been my fault for messing around with that adjustment when it started to act up and not want to light, even with plenty of butane in it.Yeah, I remember one time the gas came on without me even using it. I threw it away at that point since it could be dangerous like that. And the thing got to the point where it was unreliable.P.S. I suck at describing things.

Maybe you guys have different pillow cases. I can just grab hold of the pillow with one hand and yank viggerously until it comes out of the case. Our cases are totally open at one end. We have pillow shams which have a single vertical slit up the back. Those we use more for the top decorative pillows. I sort of reach in, grab one side of the pillow, scrunch it up, aim my hand out of the slit, and yank, still holding onto the case with one hand.In this case, I'm holding the opposite end from all my grabbing and pulling. It might help to grip more like the front of the case as you pull out the back.I can't imagine ever trying to put a duvet back in its cover. You guys can keep those. When I make the bed, I do a lot of walking from one side to the other and back again. I don't know how your guys' bedding differs from ours. We have a bottom fitted sheet with elastic around the corners. That one's easy. Just pull it down as taught as you can and tu
 ck the corners and sides under. Do one corner at a time and get it nice and snug before moving on.Then we have the flat sheet, the one we sleep under. I find the tag, then find the nearest next corner. That's how I know whether I've got the bottom or side. I'll stand at the long side and flip the sheet out over the bed, spreading it on. I keep my hands far apart so I can get it laid down flat and spread out. Don't get too crazy with flipping it high, else you'll take out the ceiling fan. I'll pull it up about half way up the pillows, then go around smoothing it down, make sure both sides are sort of even, then tuck the bottom under the matress. Rinse and repeat for the rest of the bedding. I'll run my hands over each thing I put on, making sure the wrinkles are gone. I only tuck in the bottom of the bed and just around the bottom corners.

Does anyone know what the Wade Machine actually does with the file and .srt file?  The way the program is displaying picking a file when wanting to load a video, it seems it should be storing the videos somewhere after you do the create video file command.
