Ahoy all.Ever had one of those moments when you knew you were fucking up but still went ahead with it anyway, my pc buying experience has been something like that.I bought my pc today, and its a MacBook Pro 2015 I5 processor,8gb ram,120gb sad. The thing that's quite limiting is the space but I suppose I can use the external hdd for movies,audiobooks and such.just getting used to the system,and so far it doesn't really feels as good as I thought it'd. Even on a sad alex has troublee in keeping up with my typing which jaws and nada manage just fine. Not to mention the bugs in this OSX that came installed with it, learning a hole new OS and a few other things don't really make it quite pleasant...Don't know what the hell I was thinking when I got this instead of a md101. that might have been slower,but would have worked for me just fine. I know this post sounds kind of complaining and such but I needed to share my stupidity wit
 h someone. You can't say this sucks after you go above your budget when you had no clue what you were on lol. but eh, I guess I'll get used to it.I have updated the map from the App Store, and at least the updates it gave me, I'm wondering whether I need to do something special for updating the firmware before I go ahead and install windows or will the App Store work to do it?Anything I should optimise to make accessibility more easier? or the experience better? I.E voiceover settings and so on. Apps I can delete to get more space?And if I won't be really be using the OS X as much, what space should I locate to the mac partition.Oh,and writing this post reminds me, how do I go about disabling automatic spelling corrections and correcting the mistakes I make? I still believe that part of the problem lies in the lack of blind leadership.  It'd be a lot like us writing legislation governing the use of cars.  The reason it matters to us just a little more is, as has been pointed out countless times and can be witnessed by just looking at audiogame development, among other things that cater to such a small market is, well, the fact that we are such a small market.  I don't see the overall blind and vision impaired consumer benefiting from any of these mergers in the long run, any more than the average consumer is truly benefiting from anything extensive being conducted by NASA.

Ello, Previously I was using video pad to create soundfont videos on my channel and tts videos on the sue and cristal channel. However, I have ran into a rather nasty bug where video pad will refuse to upload any video longer than 15 minutes regardless of the fact that my account is in good standing. Does anyone know if there are any accessible alternatives for the pc, or how I can stop the nasty video pad glitch once and for all? Hi all,As i've stated in a couple of other topics, I've recently acquired an IPhone. There are a couple of things that are frustrating me right now, but at the moment, I have a problem that I hope someone can help with.I recently installed Overcast on my phone to follow all the podcasts that I'm subscribed to. Unbeknownst to me, the default setting in this app is to download all the new podcasts that appear when you open the app. Once I finally realized this, I changed the setting so that now, all future podcasts can only stream. But that doesn't solve what I'm going to do with all the podcasts that already downloaded to my phone, thus where my problem comes in.This is just one scenario, although I can see several other problematic ones cropping up, such as when texts in the messages app become unmanageable, or What'sapp, which I almost exclusively use to send voice messages. these things, over time, will surely take up more memory
  than they should.Were I on my Windows PC, I'd simply hit delete on the files I don't want and be done with it. IOS doesn't seem to be this easy.I Googled it, and the website I read said something about going into the storage and ICloud section of Settings, selecting the app whose data I want to delete, finding documents and data, and then dragging the items that I want to delete. I tried double tapping on documents and data, also double tapping and holding, and trying to drag my finger around the screen while I was holding it there, but nothing seems to let me get to an option that will let me delete the data. I'm most worried about the podcasts at this point. They don't need to be there. I have a 64gb model of the IPhone SE, but that's beside the point. When I have unwanted files on my PC, I delete them; similarly, I want that amount of control on my phone. I hate clutter, if that hasn't become apparent by now. So, am I missing something obvious, or is there a different way of accomplishing this task with Voiceover?Completely unrelated to this problem, but also an IPhone question, there's something else I'm wondering about. I am on a wifi network that's prone to instability. At any given time, there are anywhere from 2 to 6 devices connected to it, and, of course, wifi is never all that stable to begin with, at least not compared to an ethernet connection, which is what I use on my computer. Even that isn't all that great, since I use a DSL connection which moves like a tortoise. Anyway, when I download apps, or try to use the wifi for any extended period of time, I usually start to get errors, such as the phone being unable to connect to the app store. Even if I switch to cellular data at this point, it doesn't seem to realize that I've switched connections, necessitati
 ng a restart of the phone, which means reentering my passcode and Apple ID password. I also read on an email list that some dude had an issue where he restarted his phone and he had to reactivate it. I don't want that to happen to me, given the amount of time I had to waste just to get mine activated in the first place when I bought it. So, is there some way I can force the phone to recognize when I've switched connections when this happens?

Really nice game. The randomness in the 2 games really cranks up the replay value to luticriss levels!A few suggestions:1. Make it so that the minigame themes speed up gradually as time passes. A few minigames in gthe mario party series did this (one each in the first 2 games).2. Add the abbility to erase your save file. Some people want to start over at some point, especially if they made some stupid decisions in battle mode.3. Make it so you no longer have to unlock the online mode. Isn't the point of a game like this to play with friends? Then isn't it unfair that the online mode has to be unlocked?4. Add local multiplayer and computer controled opponents. Reason for this is similar to suggestion 3.5. You should be able to add to the random sellection of "how to play" songs (the song that randomly plays on the instructions to each minigame)6. Add yuneque victory, lose, and draw themes for battle mode.

@Ishen, I'm not really sure what you mean about "private videos" if you mean of the wedding, well we don't have any, indeed I will say that saying "will you send private videos to me" combined with  your statement about "enjoyable time with mrs. Dark" could give people something of the wrong idea that you are looking for something rather dodgy, hence Cae's words about culture clash.Well again not much today, though mrs. Dark's wedding ring is finished which is nice. We're going with white gold so if either of us gets stuck in a fantasy kingdom we won't have a problem,  actually we're going with white gold since it goes with our silver engagement rings but there you go. Also I was sent a game to beta test which I think the community will very much enjoy, so I gave that a try, which is good. I now intend to play alteraeon for a bit and see how I can do with the castle and the drakke keeper 
 before I say goodnight and go to sleep. So, not much major, though a really rewarding day none the less. The only miner irritation is we still! are running into problems trying to get a horse drawn cariage for our wedding since the one person of the several we tried who called us back had a highly ridiculous! fee compared to the others. Hopefully we'll find somewhere since it's something we'd really like.

With the on fire game, the point is that the up and down keys are unusual, however the game is fairly easy if you press both keys together rather than attempt to alternate them. With the game where you have to find the bridges across lava pools, the point isn't to hear the lava and walk around it, but to use the different stepping sounds to tell where the bridges and the lava pits are. Each island makes a gravle sound when your in the center, and a mud step sound when on the edge, and a thump when you find a bridge.  What I do is begin by going forward until I find the mud step sound in front of me, then track left or right to find the first bridge. When I've walked across I then get onto the gravel and move forward until I find the mud sound indicating the edge. I then alternate stepping to the side on the mud and back onto the gravel. iWhen I step back and hear mud instead of gravle, I know I'm at the top corner so begin the same process on one of the 
 edges. It sounds a slow process but can be quite speedy if you have the right logic and don't die once.Hth.

Python is very easy to learn. The code for NVDA remote is open source. If you want to encrypt it, you are all smart enough to write up your own encryption methods. You could even sell unique methods to people who don’t know how to code, or just give them to them for free. Though really.The only reasons I could see for using auto connect is for server administration, and in that case I’d rather use SSH. Using NVDA remote as a server manager means you’re using open source programs, (Highly unsecure), to gain access to your server. To make this viable, you would have to write up your own security protocols unique to your own specifications, within either the plugin itself, or your own plugin. The easiest way to get an accessible and secured network to your machine is through SSH. I’ve never tunneled into a windows machine, but I’m sure there are guides out there for it. I recommend PUTTY.

It is easy to make sound packs, just destroy for when something hits the object, hit when your object hits something, loop, your objects loop, pickup when you pickup your object, and throw when you throw your object. Name them as .ogg such as hit.ogg, put them in a folder such as deskchair or what ever your object is called, and put that folder in the sounds folder. Youc an then upload the pack as a zip file.

It's a fact of life, and there's nothing wrong with it. One way companies expand their product lines, customer bases and aquire new talent, is for larger companies to aquire smaller companies. It goes on in all industries, not just the assistive technology companies.In the assistive technology sphere, most of the companies are privately help, that means these mergers and acquisitions wouldn't happen if the owner of the acquired company didn't agree to it. So if there is blame to be placed, and there isn't, you can't place all of it at Freedom Scientific's feet.Personally, I see it as an opportunity for new minds and ideas to help improve already existing products on both sides of the merger or acquisition.

I've followed the directions in help mush, and it's still giving me the default windows 10 error noise each time a sound is due to play which is annoying because of combat and getting an error sound every time a wagon passes by. One thing to remember, especially with phones. Until recently, most people bot their phones as part of a contract which was usually two years long. As as not to leave those customers in the lurch, Apple had to maintain some kind of support for the phones to give people who had them time to upgrade to something newer.For me, I didn't upgrade to any of the 6 series because I thought the size of the 5s was perfect and didn't want something bigger. Then came the s e at the same size, but none of its features was worth spending $400 on a phone to replace a perfectly work one. So for now I'm skipping the s e too.I've been lucky, in the ten plus years I've been using cell phones, I've never dropped one.  But with the decision to keep using my 5s, I decided to get a protective case for it.

Using Wine or running a Windows virtual machine on top of Linux would be your only options to theoretically make this work. At that point you're talking several layers of virtualization which is likely to render the setup too slow for practical use anyway (if it even worked at all). BGT isn't particularely fast to begin with so I can't see high volumes of concurrent connections working out very well even if it were running in a native windows environment.

I'm not sure if I already mentioned this, but allowing players to perform evasive maneuvers to avoid shots would help greatly. Jumping sometimes works, but an enemy can get the hang of the fact that I'm jumping and may jump and shoot to hit me. Dodging, rolling, and ducking will be more efficient for this kind of intense combat.Another thing would e to make items in the inventory appear in a certain order. Explosives, like pipe bombs, grenades, sticky bombs, claymores, etc, would appear in order.Also, messages pertaining to using robots and item grabbers should be removed. All they do is allow other players to take advantage of the fact that you're frozen for something like thirty seconds and zero in for the kill. They shouldn't be given this information.Last but not least, explosives shouldn't just ignore shields, they should break them outright. That's the way it works in Survive the Wild, so a similar scheme would make things more

HiPost 330, I think it is unbalanced, because we can kill a player with one shot of any weapon.And the difference between radar missile and new missile that post 329 said is, when someone fires a rocket like missile, it will go to a random person and the target player will here incomming missile s_ and jump far enough to avoid it.Radar missile is different. It doesn't fly towards random person. Instead, we select a target from the player list and shoot the missile. And the missile will fly towards the player and track the player, until the missile runs out of fuel.

I was just posting on this forum, and many of you know this already, but I want to spread the word, and get your appinion on the matter.NVDA remote, if you use it, is very unsecure!Lets say you ran a business, and you had a computer in your office.You then setup a connection to NVDA remote and leave work.However, someone who works with you told you about a program that was (required) for your business, and ran it. Ok, great, you ran it, it did what you wanted it to do, and you leave work.Well, that person knows you left your work, and boom!I actually did a recording if it comes to it, of me getting someoen's key, but it was only to prove my point.I didn't do any harm or anything like that, I just wanted to prove my point and had the person change there key.anyway, NVDA remote stores your key in a plain text file, with no encryption.When asking the developers of the security, they simply said, well, you run som

As someone stated on twitter, the consumer is only responsable for using the program, in this case, NVDA remote and reporting any bugs.It is not their responsibility of a consumer of this service to run sniffers every time they run a file. iOS 10 will drop support for the iPad Mini, iPhone 4S, iPod Touch 5, and the second and third generation iPads. If you ask me, it's about time. Those devices were using a chipset from 2011. I don't know why Apple included that chipset in the 2012 iPads and the iPod Touch 5. They should have used the CPU from the iPhone 5. Anyway, I'm glad I never purchased those devices. I don't know why they were still selling the iPod Touch 5 and original iPad Mini in 2014/2015 when the support would be dropped a year later. Talk about planned obsolescence!

Use whichever client you use for most Muds, the Aardwolf custom client is mostly just a graphical upgrade anyway and not intended as accessible. I played the game with Vipmud myself, but if your a mushclient fan, just use vanilla Mushclient. Aardwolf is a fun hacknslash and has a very light hearted feeling, though the equipment balancing got a bit irritating for my taste, and I did find some of the goals a bit nuts, then again I'm on a major alter kick at the moment.

Interesting. Yeah the documentation for PyAL is fairly weak, much like everything else other than the raw OpenAL documentation. I actually found it easier to play around with PyAL though because its purely an OpenAL wrapper with no extra feature sets, Pyglet has pretty much all the same low level bindings but has a lot of other code features that made it a bit difficult to wade through. If you haven't seen it yet I have my own code implementation using PyAL in my repository here, though I still haven't gotten around to figuring out reverb. The AL_ROLLOFF_FACTOR and AL_SOURCE_RELATIVE ended up being really annoying because the default setting would mess with the distances and range I was playing with, so setting those can help give you alot more distance. Look forward to seeing what kind of new documentation you come up with, heh.

For example, I like the volcano and explosion ambiances from Star Fox Adventures better than the ones provided for the volcano world and the games involving explosives.The deck management could use some improvement. Using the left and right arrow keys to cycle through types, and up and down arrow keys to cycle through cards of the highlighted type would be much easier.The mastermind game is almost impossible. I try different colors, only to find out that some of them are correctly placed and others placed incorrectly. @Nibar, to explain how battle works. You and the opponent always begin with the same amount of health, which can vary according to what round it is, eg, in the firstmatch you both have 30 hp. Your objective is to reduce your opponent's hp to zero before they can do the same to you. you do this by playing attack cardds.You have five cards in your hand, and a dec of up to 60 cards, and each turn you must either play or discard a card and take a new one one.There are various types of cards, eg, normal, fire, dark, fairy etc, and you will always be of a given type (probably whatever type the majority of your dec is). Some types are weak or strong against other types meaning their attacks do more or less damage. Each turn you remain as a given type, and each card you play as that type, you gain a level in that type, eg, if you start off as normal you'll begin as normal zero, but by the time you've played a card and had a turn you'll be norm
 al two. Raising your level is important since it  lets you play higher level  cards. Higher level attacks will do more damage, though of course not all cards are attacks, some are bufs that make your next attacks stronger, some give your opponent negative status like confusion or sleep which can prevent them from going etc, others prevent such status attacks being used on you, heal you and so on. Attacks come in two sorts, physical or special, so it's important if you have buff cards to play the right type, eg, if your normal type there's no point playing "power up" and then using body slam, since power up just powers up your special attacks. hth.

To complete the "On Fire!" game properly, you need to press the up and down arrow keys at the same time as fast as possible. If one hand gets tired, quickly switch to the other hand. It took me several tries to figure it out.I have a couple more suggestions. Firstly, it would be cool if you could customize the sound effects to your own liking. For example, I like the volcano and explosion ambiances from Star Fox Adventures better then the ones provided for the volcano world and the games involving explosives.The deck management could use some improvement. Using the left and right arrow keys to cycle through types, and up and down arrow keys to cycle through cards of the highlighted type would be much easier.

Thank you really much, I truly appreciate your words.The point is that the system is not well planned, because there is a lot of information being processed in a very short time, so the student cannot keep up with it. The professors are willing to explain, but the student can't still absorb what the professor says. What's more, this system here allows students, even being unqualified to enter this faculty, despite the need of knowing well a foreign language.Good luck again.

Tintin or another client?

Hi all!I'm not sure if this is where this should go as its related to gaming but also to computing.I've been reading the forum for quite a while now as I happen to be Mrs. Nocturnus, as it were.I am simply wondering if anyone has managed to make tintin work on the mac and installed the Alter Aeon or Miriani soundpacks?If so do you have a set of instructions to follow?I folloed the information linked to on Alters website which led to Stormdragons github pages but those directions are quite old and well they don't exactly work anymore.I looked up mudder but can't find that either.I'd like to migrate fully to my macbook air I got like 5 months ago now when Nocturnus got his mac mini.I know I can run a vm, and I have VMware, but getting keys to pass through seems difficult, and if you accidentally command tab instead of option tab for alt tab it takes you out of the window which then makes a mess of it all!
 I used to know how to make keyboard focus go completely into the VM when I had my macbook pro back in 2012, 2013 but I can't remember what I did to make that work.Any thoughts or assistance would be greatly appreciated

I wish you very, very good luck on your journey to an academic level.Hard times are coming for you mate. I started university on October at the faculty of foreign languages here in my city. No, it's not USA, I'm far from there, I live in Albania.It's been an intensively busy, bloody competitive, highly disappointing year for me. Very difficult lections each one up to 20-30 pages, with lots of new words, bazaar stuff I've never run into, occupied time which for me was never enough, and massive amounts of stress.All this, surely, I dedicate to the messy system through which the universities run here in my country. They do not support students but professors. It's not my inability which causes me to utter these words, but that's a fairly unacceptably disorganised system which drives the lives of students in an irreversable direction. 
 Just living in a survival state hoping to grab a good grade from the professors. Though I've done well, it's a little far from my expectations. There is nobody apart from yourself to cheer you courageously and to give a little hope like my teachers did in High school. Here's a completely different environment.So, I wish you all the best, right from my heart, hoping to se you higher and higher.I believe a better system runs out there.

I'm unsure what manual you are refering to. Braces tell the language that this bit of code is only to be executed if the statement before is executed. Hi guys. Many of you might not know me. I've been around the community for about 4 years or so now. I've been working on an audiogame called Project C.A.T. In the course of creation I discovered a few things about myself. One, I really really love coding.Two, I really really love games. It has been a crazy series of events that's led up to this point, but I'm here and that's all that really matters. I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm going to Fullsail university. I start August 29th, and I'll be going for a bachelor’s in game design. The way their facilities are set up, I'll have connections and access to career opportunities I wouldn't have anywhere else. I owe this to everybody who has given me advice, and all of the passionate people I’ve met on here.The recruiter who I spoke to was very enthusiastic about me going after I explained what my goals were, which are to make other people's video games accessible, as well as design my own. In fact there are scholarships dedicated to this very thing. Everybody has been very supportive of me, and their accommodation’s team seems very capable. The main purpose of this post isn’t to brag about my accomplishments though. Life is pretty crazy, and anything can happen between now and now. For the Super English song, I decided to use N163, using all eight channels of that chip in Famitracker, and I will either be recording it through NotSoFatso (which is my prefered NSF plugin since it's closer to a real NES in terms of accuracy), or have someone do an external Famicom mod because apparently using more channels on the N163 chip produces a hissing sound, but with a mod, it sort of gets rid of it, and certain NSF players can emulate this behavior. For vocals, I am still using Vocaloid.

hey sam i found a bug i using nvda when playing.after i pick up object i can't move i try to jump sit walk press l press i but doesn't work.i don't know why i can't moveand could you add option we can choose 1 sound floder when playing?because i don't like many sound in other floder come together and make me annoying.

@nibar impossible you can't avoid rules lost help point when battle except you have type anty opponent such as you have ground type opponent is electic typekeep in my ai can change type in some battle fiel if get rick from opponent type.i recommend you have to watch pokemon on tv read about pokemon on internet etc many way you can chooseand i have few suggestion could we add %tage such as i translating thai language but still incomplete i want to put % after saying thai and i know translation is translatinghey pragma if you like yugioh could you add feature combination card to get extra card? in anime call filtion card i think it easier way to get higher card if people don't like use single card several times to use high cardand i promise translation of thai language will finish zoon because i translate lonely no people join me lolalso hope you develop awesome very practical game for me and other people as fast as you can

Configuring speakers didn't fix my problem, but my temporary solution is using the swap channels feature in Sound Forge after recording.
