So, someone asked about the arcade?Spoiler warning:I made eleven thousand credits in about twenty minutes playing the slot machine, so now I'm leveling up that robot that you get from there to match my party. My party so far has consisted of level 41 Jimmitron, 41 Owlex, 42 erroir, 41 Frorgeril, 43 Tylavile, and 43 Dramegon. I'm leveling up Mondevol and Placebot to see how they function in the team, and I'm thinking of bringing in an earth person just to cover that base. I just got to orieanda city, and I'm hoping to get the party to at least high forties if not fifty before tackling that stadium.

On a completely unrelated note, I just had some fun trying to see how many moves I could pull from memory. I count 193. Now either that means there are 193 moves in the game, or I'm missing 7 or more, or I've seen them and for whatever reason don't recall them. Ad for the game says "over 200 unique attacks". Though it needs to be said that Slam, Sing and Earthquake are pretty much identical, and maybe sixty others are very thinly veiled copies (fang drain = leech life, Implant = Leech Seed, Scorch = Flamethrower, etc).Anyway, I made the list largely because I found myself thinking "God, there's absolutely no way that's 200 attacks. Not even close". But it is close, anyway, because the fair majority of what you're seeing isn't new, so it looks like you've seen it before and thus it doesn't seem new. Not if you're a pokemon player like I am, anyhow.This isn't to knock the game, only to say I'
 ve found 193-194 attacks or so, and can't seem to remember (or don't know) the last ones. I'm not counting Irroadium's Vulnerability Oblivion or Final Oblivion because we can't use those attacks.

All half the game does is sits in there waiting for the next gift or the next water boddle to pick up. The loosing health thing? It isn't a bug. It was intensional. Don't want it to happen? Don't sit in the gass station for 4 hours. Problem solved. But most admins have been working hard to bomb the village royally so people learn to get in, grab there stuff, and get out. Now you know. There's really no reason for anyone to stay waiting for gifts because the gift limit is 16 gifts per day. Additionally, sometimes you might have multiple people trying to get their 16 gifts, so they either have to compete for the gifts or wait for others to finish getting theirs. Also, if people want to hang out in the gift shop, what's the problem? It's no different than hanging out anywhere else in the open with no wild animals with PK turned off. it isn't against the rules or anything, but you're making it seem like it's a horrible crime that must be pun
 ished whenever possible.Second of all, do you know why people stay in the gas station in other areas to wait for item spawns? Do you? Anyone? Raise your hands. Okay. It's because spawns are extremely slow, unless something's changed recently. Painfully slow. Someone can go in, grab an item, and none will spawn for a while. The next guy who tries to get something and get out is going to find nothing, so what do they do? They wait. Maybe multiple people are waiting for item spawns. What are they going to do? Sit there and wait. What are people going to do if some jerk is just sitting there taking items because they can? Probably try to compete for said items. Again as with the gift shop, what is the problem with people hanging out there as long as they're not causing problems for other people?The loosing health thing? It isn't a bug. It was intensional. Don't want it to happen? Don't sit in the gass station for 4 hours. Problem solved.Someone with 1000 health is going to lose a lot of health in less than 4 hours. @connor142 you are right about the tube not having dining cars but train stations often have shops. I was only in London once but I think there was a McDonalds in one of the train stations. @simba even though track switching and stuff is done by other workers it still might be fun. Playing with trains as a kid I would always make my trains as long as possible. Perhaps the longer train lengths could mean a slower speed you would have to travel?

Even as a rough concept, this sounds truly awesome and innovative. I'm very excited to play this game when it comes out!As far as random events occurring, as was discussed in the demo, I have a couple of suggestions which I hope will be considered, and won't be too ridiculously hard to implement.First, it would be great if someone would randomly forget things on the train, such as a purse, a cell phone, etc. And if you didn't turn them in to the proper channels, or kept them for yourself, you could lose your job and thus the game, or be penalized in some other way.I was hoping for something like inclement weather, but as the train runs underground, I don't think this would be realistic, sadly. So, could one of the disasters we have to recover from be power outages?Finally, it would be, well, cool is not the word, but perhaps realistically cool, if we would have to deal with something like a passenger throwing up on the train. I think the game's status-checking is just a little buggy actually. You can't use Pollution Solution on an undead mon, but a move that has a chance to poison but is not itself a poison-type move can do it. Same with Scorch, I suspect. This needs to be error-checked and removed, I think, particularly in the case of scorch and poison, since flame types should never ever be scorched, and poison/undead types should never ever be poisoned.Ugh. The more I play with Tenshaino, the more I realize how rough a deal fighting types get in this game. They're weak to a lot of stuff, and the higher-level areas to grind in all have stuff that wrecks them. That, and a lot of them seem to top out with Piledriver. Haha. As if that's a viable top-tier damaging fighting move. It's great for coverage, and it's nice to hit something on a switch, but I should not be relying on Piledriver, ever, at high levels in order to do fighting type damage. That's just nuts.

Especially ones that were mentioned in the ending.Collect all 158 manamon and go get your reward.That's basically it. For some reason, I was thinking that I had both poison and scorch running at one point. I'm probably wrong though. It's possible that it was done via a damaging move with a chance to inflict status as opposed to a direct status inflictor, like Ash Rain. Or it's possible I'm just misremembering, that happens a lot.

Skirial has Stun Spray and Subliminal Radio Wave (confusion+paralysis).Snowmonno gets Unending Curse, Deadman's Curse, Sing and Stun Volt. Problem is, it's frail as hell, and all of these moves except Stun Volt have a chance to fail (or will do damage to the user, as in Deadman's Curse). I hate that spell, it's way too much risk for no real reward.Banyardan gets Sleep Spray, Toxic Spray and Stun Spray. I personally take only Sleep Spray and then whomp on the poor defenseless manamon while it's napping.As I understand it, there are status effects, and status problems.A status effect is something that will not go away on its own, and will persist through battles. These include sleep, paralysis, plague, poison and scorch. You can't ever put more than one of these on any given manamon at once; if you try, it will fail.Then you have status problems. These are things like confusion and horrify, things which may get in the way

Suffocate, Implant, Deadman's Curse, Unending Curse, Desoul, Eternal Vortex and Thunderstorm are the ones I know about right off the top of my head. They hit once, and will then do damage over time. I believe you can stack these.The short answer to your question is that yes, this is sometimes a viable strategy. Bombusect is well-known for a Fang Drain+Desoul combo that heals him a lot every round. Thornita can do an Implant+Toxic Spray+Alphadrain combo which stacks up damage pretty quickly. Others can as well. If you like that sort of thing, go crazy. Just remember to pack at least a couple of heavy hitters, or else you're going to run into stuff that's immune to all your tricks, or stuff that gets lucky and kills you despite all your cleverness. Luck can happen to both parties, in the worst way.

So, a couple more findings:1. Snowmonno is not going to work out. He gets crazy attack, a lot of nice moves and good speed and HP...but his defenses are terrible. He will die in two hits even to stuff he resists, unless you forget about his attack and try to pump up his weak defenses.This guy would be quite usable if his defenses were buffed even by say 20-25 points each. He'd still be frail, but not 45 defense at level 50 frail. That's just too much.2. Tenshaino gets Inner Healing at level 55, which is weird but kind of neat. Too bad he doesn't get, y'know, a fighting attack better than Rookie Punch? I'm starting to notice a trend here. And Piledriver doesn't count, I'm afraid. Tenshaino does have decent stats. He's an upgrade from Fyrate in that regard, having more HP I think, and definitely more physical defense.3. Dramagon might be the most well-balanced mon I've seen. Its attack and special attack are both 
 quite good, its defenses and HP are solid, its typing means it only has a few weaknesses, and its speed, while not utterly mind-blowing, really is nothing to complain about. This is a better dragon than the Drabao line, if you ask me. Drabao may (key word there) have better stats in some areas, but you don't get Draco Breaker until, what, level 75 or some crazy thing? Dramagon gets it at 53 I think. And it gets Drench, Wind Force, Dragon Fang. This is how you do it right. Give manamon moves they can use, and use well. I'm actually surprised I haven't had more hassle fighting these things.4. Fiendour gets Black Mana. That's mean. I love it. With Crunch, Desoul and Clobber, he's pretty good at what he does. Another one of those non-overwhelming manamon that just sticks around and beats on stuff till it dies, and is likewise fairly hard to kill.Interesting note: even though undead manamon are supposedly immune to poison, they can still actually -be 
 poisoned. I find this very strange. Moves that have that effect can still poison them; I think the trick is that they've been made immune to the damage type, but not to the effect. I think if there's a poison immunity, it should also count for the status as well. And before anyone gets weird about paralysis and the like: paralysis can come from other sources, and is not a damage type. Electric manamon are immune to Stun Volt, but not to Glare, for instance. The reason I bring this up at all is because poison is a damage type, and it would stand to reason that if a big ball of sludge does absolutely nothing to something that's undead, then trying to infect it with a poison of any kind would be likewise impossible.Just some more food for thought.

Hi,I have decided to try my hand at making a soundpack of my own for beatstar pro. The guide says to put a folder with the name of your pack into the soundpacks folder, which is supposedly in the games folder. Problem is, I cannot find a games folder anywhere within my beatstar english folder, or the appdata\roming\orielgomez folder. Can anyone tell me the path I need to put my files in? In the first stadium, you're actually given a suggestion to go rest once you complete it, so I'd say the game even leads you in the right direction in terms of hitting up the hotels to trigger scenes. Always a good idea before and after you've completed everything in a town.

This is what happens when you follow a walkthrough and don't think for yourself. You get stuck when your walkthrough is incomplete.Do you remember seeing a route to the south of San-Cott City that was blocked? If not, get exploring.I can't say this enough. If you don't know where to go, explore first, ask later. If you haven't been most places, then asking for help is sort of like asking us to do the work for you, which most of us aren't going to do.Asking vague questions about what's coming up is fine. Asking "where do I go now?" when it's pretty clear where you go, well...that just proves you're glued to a walkthrough and are not actually playing the game.Explore, get lost, get some levels, figure out where you're going. The game is pretty good about hand-holding you most of the time, with the very few exceptions of having to use the manamon hotel sometimes before a cutscene triggers or an area unlo
 cks. So here's a piece of advice, for you and for everyone: if you just get done with an area or a stadium, and you're not sure what's next, or you went where you were told and that's not working, rest at the hotel, see if that unlocks anything.

So I totally just realized I've completely misunderstood the move Divine Barrier. My Fyngon in my last file knew it, but I never used it much because when it says it halves the damage of magic attacks, I thought it meant attacks of the magic type, not all magic attacks, as in special attacks. This is why you don't have 2 things that use the same name. I only figured it out after a Sacreloon started taking half damage from my Aqua Zap. Shame, because that would have made the Irroadium fight so much easier. Oh well. Just a heads up to people out there, if anyone else for some reason thought it just halved magic type attacks, it's much better than that.Also, totally random oddity I just noticed. Melanie's bedroom has no bed in it. Not that it matters, there's a hotel right next door, but makes me wonder where she sleeps...

Americranian,You have the right idea with the flame mythical. Do you have the rope? If so, it should be very easy to find. If not, what are you waiting for? Go back and get the rope, then try Mt. Cinder again.Enchantethol is outclassed by Grandlan for sure. And you might be able to get a good magic and electric type (replacing both Enchantethol and Jimitron) with Mondevol. Mondevol hits respectably, has a ton of HP, and tanks well. He'll get Superspark, Laser Arm (kind of a crappy move) plus Aura Master and Thicken. Stick a broomstick on him, and he's no longer weak to earth attacks.Polosses is worth keeping, and in my humble opinion so is Banyardan. Give him another couple of levels and he'll get Earthquake. My preferred moveset for Banyardan is Berserk Branch, Earthquake, Sleep Spray, Sharpen and Photosynthesis.I was supremely unimpressed with Ratiara because of the point you brought up. Its attack is nice, everything else is bad, and it&
 #039;s frail. Replace maybe with a Martiagle or with the mythical flame manamon if you're so inclined.You can't get the electric one yet, so don't worry about it.Pandourbit is pretty respectable for a ghost. He's slow, but he hits pretty hard with Earthquake and Spirit Force, plus he can mess up the foe with Smoke and Mirrors. Soul Split does not work on the boss, as it has abilities left and right. One of them basically stops you from using Black Mana, Soul Split, Powerfang, Dragon Burst or Piledriver; it's a concocted way to ensure that you have to actually do damage that doesn't scale with level or doesn't depend on the boss's own HP. I get it, but it's a pain in the neck.If you push Polosses to level 59 he will learn Frigid Touch, and start pumpping out way more damage. Alternatively, if you like Arctana, it's probably faster, but more frail.You've got plenty of options here. Just watch out for a fire

@Figment, as I said before, my Hex editor will not show any hexidecimal notation at all in the AAC.exe executable. However, I did manage to extract the sounds from AAC. I apparently can't extract the sound files from stages though.

There is one gammanet per playthrough. Period.And fair enough, Loxias, that's me too. Trying stuff to see how well it works.Looks like I just found out something that I don't like, though. Apparently you don't get train points off manamon that are too weak. Found this out after spending literally forty minutes outside the belltower trying to get a hundred-odd train points for Paladine. When he levelled, he got exactly 7, so all that time and effort was wasted.The reason I fight there is because nothing is a threat, and because the encounter rate is stupidly high. I think maybe the area outside the tower might be similar, and at this point I'm just hoping the mons there are arbitrarily tough enough to grant train points. If not, Paladine is 150 points or so behind, and no wonder he's not pulling his weight.Hell, all it needs is one good fighting move. One. With White Lance, Battlecry, Piledriver and Restrain, one more fighting more 
 would make it quite usable. I messed around and tried giving it some level-up herbs, and it had something like 134 attack at level 54 (minus train points of course). So it hits pretty hard, and its physical defense is also quite high.Jury's still out though, and frankly I don't have the energy to go and grind him right now. That forty-odd minutes wasted really did take the wind out of my sails.

HiAt the moment there are two modes of play, mission mode and scheduled runs. Mission mode has a driver school and a number of preset routes at preset times. The missions will get progressively harder. The scheduled runs are what you heard in the demo. You pick a tube line, all 10 real tube lines are modelled. You then pick a start and end station and a start time. Much of the data regarding lines, stops and distance between stops was from transport for London so matches the real world as much as possible. It seemed at least for a time during the fighting toward the end of it that I was basically using one mon to revive the second to revive the first to revive the second and so on. My team was jimitron, level 60, pandourbit, level 64 or so, fauntozaur, level 52, arctana, high 40's or so, tarboo, level 45, this one really didn't do much, and kinidul, mid 40's at the time. I got lucky enough to have scorch and paralyze and confusion going on irroadium while I cycled around through the team members just chipping away at his hp and letting him beat himself. I'm curious what a rock-solid team would look like. I think what I've put together seems half decent but there's really only a couple of members that carry the load whereas the rest are just fodder. Also, what's the fastest way to get credits in the arcade? Someone m
 entioned a game from which I've won approximately zero credits so far. I feel like getting these is meant to be similar to chopping down an oak tree with a spork.

Haven't really gotten the time to post anything until now, but I've been playing this game far too much to be healthy. Great work, although I do wish there was a better changelog for the updates. Yeah, Junanchel is still doing pretty well actually. He has lots of hp, right up there with Fauntozaur, and his defenses aren't half bad, especially physical after a solar conversion or two. Oh, and Aerial Vision + Uproot is just hilarious.As for Garganchan, if it ends up being too frail and slow to do anything, I'll replace him. After all, half the reason I did this second playthrough was to try stuff I haven't tried before. Some of it will be good, some won't.

Hey question for all the manamon players out there, i'm in the factory, hide out of the shadow organization.  I've been to all the floors and opened most of the doors but there is a door  that says keep out, administrator access only. I assume there is a key for that, so I guessed it was somewhere in the basement. Tell me if i'm rong, but there's nothing in the basement! the security guards stay in the same place so its virtually impossible to get around them but so far I've found no open passages. Should I keep looking around the basement? or are there doors I haven't yet discovered? if anyone can help me out please  let me know.

How're you liking Junanchel? Still pulling his weight?The flaws you pointed out for Garganchan were exactly what kept me away from him. I know he gets some awesome moves and has high attack, but that speed and those defenses? Ouch, just ouch. Particularly when, as far as I know, there are other manamon who have similar attack and don't have so many weaknesses and such bad defenses. Look at Erroir, just as one example. That thing is fairly quick, fairly defensive, and yet it has Spark Tail running off an attack higher than Martiagle. Which is saying something, since Martiagle has some sweet attack.I'm mucking around with Snowmonno to see if it's worth using, or if it falls into the Garganchan trap of being powerful and too frail. It, at least, is fairly fast though.I have ten level-up herbs currently, and I think there's another coming up here pretty soon. I'll grind Paladine up a few levels (I have to anyway), then I'll save an
 d pump him full of level-up herbs. Maybe he'll learn Power Kick or some other fighting type move eventually, and justify using him. If not...well, there's always Remullion.

Slight spoilers:@Jayde: Next time you play through, read through what is said at the top of the tower where Irroadium is awakened. The cutscene you're referring to will make sense then.So Paladore is another one who's stuck with just Rooky fighting moves huh? Think I'm glad I ended up not going with him. I mean, at least he has a good move of his other type unlike a certain other fighting type I've harped on about in here before, but still depressing.I ended up giving the Feefeye line a try. Levelling it up was tough at first, but having Dustin as a partner certainly helped him bring in those big exp gains. I just had to save  a lot and try until I got lucky and the opponents attacked him instead of me. Once Feefeye got to level 36 it transformed once, then I used a smoke element to immediately transform it again. It got a lot easier to battle with after that. Garganchaan's speed and defenses could be better, and it's weak to
  a lot of stuff, but holy hell does this thing ever hit like a truck. It also comes with Power Kick right off the bat, learned Earthquake at level 37, and it turns out the move tutor guy was able to teach it Flame Blizzard which, while his special attack sucks compared to his attack, still does more than enough damage to any grass or insect types I might need to use it on. Hoping it gets Blaze Rampage eventually, but yeah, for this level, I've yet to see anything who's coverage comes close.Currently at Orianda City with Garganchan, Junanchel (final form of Sappel), Fiendour, Recobrah, Leonatar and Fauntozaur, all level 41-42.

The cutscene you're referring to will make sense then.So Paladore is another one who's stuck with just Rooky fighting moves huh? Think I'm glad I ended up not going with him. I mean, at least he has a good move of his other type unlike a certain other fighting type I've harped on about in here before, but still depressing.I ended up giving the Feefeye line a try. Levelling it up was tough at first, but having Dustin as a partner certainly helped him bring in those big exp gains. I just had to save  a lot and try until I got lucky and the opponents attacked him instead of me. Once Feefeye got to level 36 it transformed once, then I used a smoke element to immediately transform it again. It got a lot easier to battle with after that. Garganchaan's speed and defenses could be better, and it's weak to a
  lot of stuff, but holy hell does this thing ever hit like a truck. It also comes with Power Kick right off the bat, learned Earthquake at level 37, and it turns out the move tutor guy was able to teach it Flame Blizzard which, while his special attack sucks compared to his attack, it still does more than enough damage on any grass or insect types I might need to use it on. Hoping it gets Blaze Rampage eventually, but yeah, for this level, I've yet to see anything who's coverage comes close.Currently at Orianda City with Garganchan, Junanchel (final form of Sappel), Fiendour, Recobrah, Leonatar and Fauntozaur, all level 41-42.

I think Ethin might be confused about what a hex editor does when you copy a chunk of data. If you do it right, it doesn't copy the data in hexadecimal notation, for example, FACEB00CDEADF00D, but rather, it copies the actual data, in exactly the same format as it sees it. Hexadecimal is just a way that humans can comprehend information which might not be displayable as readable text.

I don't think the quests thing would work, because it's london tubes, you don't rent them for vip visiters or anything like that. If there really is a large group heading to heathrow airport or something, they wouldn't matter because they'd go on the tube normally like everyone else. Sorry if this inaccurate, I never actually used the tubes so please don't judge too harshly. I also don't think there's board survice on the tubes so drinks and snacks wouldn't make sense. If this were regional or overnight expresses, I would understand where you were coming from with that.

I thought he evolved at 47, not 46, but could be wrong. White Lance is a nice move and he gets it pretty early. That's about all I can say for him.Irroadium cannot be caught the first time you fight him. The only way to catch Irroadium is in the postgame, after you have beaten the stadium master. Same with any other dragon mythicals. Snowmonno uses Tricky Gaze, does very small damage but Submenno is paralyzed. Full paralysis, he doesn't act. Trickky Gaze again, Submenno dies, gives Snowmonno about 17500 exp, brings it to level 28. Lost a lot of train points but I can easily get them back.BTW, Matt, you're spelling Piledriver right. It's pile-driver, but since it's one word, screenreaders screw it up. At least it's dependable damage, anyway. Basically analogous to pokemon's Seismic Toss.

Here's a tip some one gave me on AppleVis.To find out what keys on your keyboard are, go into VoiceOver Help mode, 4 finger double tap, then press the key on your keyboard, VoiceOver will announce what the key is.There are some caveats though.1. Some keys will exit help mode. On my keyboard, a Griffen wired keyboard for devices using the lightning connector, the Home and Search keys performed their usual function instead of help mode telling you what they were.2. Some special function keys apparently have no help, for me the rewind, play/pause, and fast forward, were some of the keys with no help.3. Shifted functions aren't announced, instead you just get what the unshifted key does, so you get no indication that a key has a different function when shifted.So VoiceOver Help is of limited value when trying to learn what keys are where on a keyboard. But I guess it's better than nothing, barely.

Hello,I'm not too sure of anything that offers such great support. I know Akai made something, think it was ltd but not sure. I don't recommend it though as I've heard mixed reviews about it.If you absolutely want a mixture of keys and pads, I do over all recommend the Noctern as stated above. Hi hacker,It depends on which article I referred to.  Setting up the TeamTalk server was done all by the BlindGeekZone podcast.  The Apache and Wine setups came from different sources.  The Apache came from Linode's library, and Wine I couldn't find anything that made enough sense for me to try.Thanks for the info.  I'll keep looking.Luke
