Thanks Jeffb, I think you're right. I'm checking out the F11 problem right now. Crashmaster, I agree with everything you have said. I feel guilty when I pride myself on making a game accessible by all, but if it doesn't work on every computer it isn't, in fact, accessible by all so I feel like a fraud. I think the only way I'm going to be able to do this is, once the demo is 100% finished, which means after we add 2 more levels, I'll have to just double all the maps, and remove everything visual manually, and have a "Vision Impaired Mode" in the menu. I think that's just a reality of what we're facing in terms of how far a developer can downscale UE4. Thanks for your input, it's really helpful!

Hello there,Actually dark, I ended up getting something similar to your keyboard.Its a logitech (what isn't these days) keyboard with either a usb dongle type thing that you can plug into your pc or use a bluetooth connection to connect, it also has a numpad,so its the best of both?or all worlds However the reviews do state its keys might be a bit closed packed together hence causing errors when typing I.E pressing the wrong key by mistake, but lets see when it actually gets here.Its a farely cheap keyboard,and for features that it has I.E connectivity and a numpad I guess one can't ask much more than that.Its the same as my k380 though, that is it switches to the OS layout its connected to,so I guess I'll have to get rid of my sharpkey modifications,b

As for the mac version, osara and sws work fine. I'm not even sure reaccess still works with the new versions of reaper, someone told me it only worked with like version 3 or something.

I use reaper on the mac, it really is a nice DAW. However, from a voiceover standpoint, its not the best, being that osara was originally designed for windows as far as I can tell. Pro tools works better with voiceover. However, on a windows machine, reaper is really all you have, aside from that crap audacity. Well you have sonar's cakewalk, but isn't that outdated? I may be wrong on that, i for some reason thought that was old and hasn't got any updates in the passed few years.

Hello everyone.As usual I'm late to a "gaming craze." A lot of folks here have discussed the idea of using an emulator to enjoy certain games they either enjoyed when they were sighted or that they played in their younger years. I would like to do this also. That being the case I downloaded the Playstation 2 emulator PCSX2, I believe it's called. I have a Windows X machine. you can install windows without creating a bootable image with it, just unzip the iso file and run the setup found inside. I have tested this on my machine and it worked when upgrading from win 7. the process is pretty simple, after downloading all the updates and copying them on your machine the computer will restart several times, to see your progress turn on the narrator by pressing ctrl windows enter and hit caps lock space to turn on scan mode and navigate with the arrow keys. I think that you need to keep all your data for this option to work though.

Finally played my first franchise game. It was a preseason game, because I set it up that way. I figured preseason could be my practice. It didn't go bad, I got to interceptions, one fumble recovery, and about five sacks  in the  defensive side of things. The sack were from knowing it was a running play and barreling down on the quarterback, interceptions was knowing it was a passing play and by luck more than anything I'm sure of was moving in the right direction and hitting that interception button. Now offense  was fine once I memorize the list of passing, and running plays then it was just a matter of picking the right play for the right situation, and knowing the game definitely helped out. I did get a couple  of pushing off penalties,  and one was on a touchdown pass. I think that was because I was pushing on the  stick a little too much, or too soon before the catch. Kick off's, and punts were what they were, because without the 
 feedback from the meters is a guessing game.  Similar with extra points, and field-goal attempts. I missed them all, but I did get the rumble when moving The stick on the field goal, but not the extra point. Enjoyed the game, and will wait until the update is release with the accessibility additions before I make a overall opinion. I can't wait for that update, and really, really can't wait until we get talking menus. Which I hope comes sometime in the future. Even if it's not for this year's game.   Thanks to Karin, Darrell, and special, special thanks to Amber.

Honestly guys this is simply an ongoing pattern. It's disheartening that it continues to occur, but that said there's nothing and noone that will change it. If you enjoy DMNB and are disappointed in the recent events regarding its existence, just wait 3 more months. Hell... maybe 6 at most. It'll be back in some other form. If this next form doesn't get off the ground very far, at least it will get off and stay off for a short period of time. Then it will go down as have the others. But honestly I wouldn't wait around, because clearly this developer or group of developers has significant difficulties working together. Imho it's quite unethical to leave it up to one of the two people whom we can gather are the cause of drama to provide the community with updates regarding the game's status, especially when it is something as detremental as whether or not the game will remain in existence; where was the rest of this "six manned team"? We&
 #039;ll probably never know why this game went down for real. But having watched this topic closely for months now I can only remark upon one thing: it is not one specific person's fault that this project is down. To avoid triggering the wrath of certain "veterins" if you will of game development, I will refrain from saying this was completely unprofessional, instead stating that it should have and could have been handled and processed much better than this, and that these games and game versions are just going to become ever less popular and taken less and less seriously as they progress if the people involved cannot get their acts together. Professional team / company or not, acting and going about things like children is no way to present oneself to a community. I've done it before and all it did was make me look stupid. It's not doing much different for this development.Bottom line, telling one another to shut up over the forum and blaming each oth
 er for this and that, coupled together with the head developer suddenly ducking out of existence when things got hard, makes you guys look like a joke. Seriously.Ps. I'm sorry for all of that. Hi Defender.Thanks for being understanding, I gave you a thumbs-up.As far as the killer, people seem to be going back and forth as to whether code was borrowed or stolen or what. But being an amateur programmer myself, I hate software piracy! I can't comment on the killer or redspot because I know nothing about either one. However if the code was stolen and used to make a clone I find that really disturbing. I can't understand why people have to hack and steel from other people instead of being creative and writing their own code. Really with hard work and patience you can create some nice stuff without hacking or steeling.

I'm not sure about any software instruments without midi, you could get a mixer and a few condencer and dynamic mikes, then record a guitar, drums, base, or what ever you want, then produce that in reaper, but i don't know how well software instruments work without a controler.

In case you missed the teaser, this is a 2d game best described as a platforming brawler, with largely fighting game-style controls.One of the aspects to be tested is online multiplayer, so it'd be very helpful if testers are able to create and receive connections over the internet.Currently, this game is only playable on Windows, so testers must have access to a computer running Windows XP or later to participate.Anyone interested should send an email to Jeqofire at gmail with the subject containing at least one of the words in the title of this thread. Check Decks against Society for CaH stuff, the RS one doesn't, AFAIK have the expansions, I tend to hang out on DaS and it's fully working with FF and Orca and NVDA here, it uses links you hit to pick things, plus the people seem so far to be relaxed and fun to deal with.Alright if anyone hosts a server for that github link I'm in, but...ya know, I got no shame, also I find the RS one tends to break FF/Seamonkey here on my Linux machine for some reason...

ok ok. so. there are some valid points here about this comunity that assault and defender wrote before me.however. i must point out again that ivan is not cloning the game. by that i mean using sounds etc. that's totaly fine since even sam has sounds in stw from swamp and mush z.however. what ivan is doing is difrent. what he's doing is that he's using the stolen redspot sorce that he took from sam after hacking his computer to make tk. he then made it payed without asking sam for permition to do so. and when he realised that people were bitching about it he then begun to talk to sam.and another thing guys. ivan said, right after he hacked sam, that he deleted the code that he took, by that he deleted it from all his harddrives/backups.that, is a lie though. so tell me, if someone makes a game based of someone elses code, that he doesn't have permition to use. when he told the dev of the code that he actually doesn't have the 
 code anymore. then makes the game, which is based of the code that he was supposed to not have in the first plase, and even so after he got it from sam's pc, claims that he deleted it, after that, trying to make the game that's using the code that he in no ways has permition to use payed. doesn't sam have the right to actually express his opinion here on the matter? when clearly ivan doesn't want to solve it privately and keeps lying about it?and what completely pisses me off is the mods way of dealing with things. stop with this bullshit with warnings over and over and over. the mods has the proof right there from multiple sorces that can confirm it. chat logs etc.isn't it time now that ivan gets banned?why should even someone develop and post their work on the forum if there are no garantees that if someone steals their sorce and then makes a new game that he posts up on the forum, which also goes payed without the owner's permition.
  shouldn't that game be deleted. and the user be instantly banned after one warning and not 2 or 3 or 4 warnings? and that's, people, why i don't bother checking the forum anymore. because the administration of this plase totally sucks balls when it comes to tolerating code stealing and similar shit.

I was also the one who posted his time bomb message, I was also the one who pasted it from his release notes, and I  was also the one who pasted his original web site. and honestly, I'm proud of it. I'm known for my factual lectures, and revealing lies, and bullshit, so those of you who know me, will have expected me to do it.
  not to mention the entertainment side of it. I mean, I get way too easily amused. PS. redspot, in actual fact, had the remote time bombs a day before. and this is coming from someone, who hates the community of RS, and so refuses to play it. no reason to defend, in other words. nowadays, there is absolutely no FPS. that's worth playing. the TK was the first, that I liked, ever since RTR. it took 5 years, to make something worth while, then 2 months to destroy that. as for STW, urney does play it, but he ended up raging, after he lost like 2 or so DFC. I was online at the time. too bad he's not on my trust list, so I couldn't watch him losing them, but it would have been a hell of an entertainment. it was still entertaining, even just hearing it. I also played BTB, and all that, and I'll say it again, I don't have an issue with cloning. oh yeah, removing and replacing developers? apparently, colton lost his admin rights, or so I'm told, because he told 
 people to not ober abuse the server with bombs, and shit? just [[wow]]. inconsistent admins, inconsistent developers, unreliable choices, new features we don't agree with.  and once more, I don't care if something is cloned, as long as it's well made.oh, I don't care for sounds being copied, either, we all have to start somewhere, then change them as we go along,. and speaking of that, don't bring that up big gun, else ivan will change it all, and that, we will have no evidence of.  if only I knew programming, would join the FPS competition.

And you don't really need a PE anymore as the windows 10 installer speaks. As for flash drives, you could get a 32gb drive for around 12 bucks. Not bad at all.

owe, why forgod's sake have I created this topic? I know that I sound stupid, but I should have never expected that.@kianoosh, slender, visualstudioall that defender said, and I have said all reddy about 10 times. it's not the point is it leagul or not, it's, as defender had said, point in the game. if you want to see what I meen, try to make a clone of, let's say ultrapower with out any copied sounds, no source code and you have to make it enjoyable. in short, it's a hard work, from writing the actual game, to recording all new sounds. and let's say that someone has got to the source code, let's just for fun say that it was some futuristic technology. anyway he, someone, gets the source code, gets the sounds, does some changes, changes the name, how would you fiel then? something on witch you have worked for months, months, even years has bin taken by someone and he made something else from it for only a few weeks. no, I haven�

Well aren to be honest if you are that way inclined, you are well on the way to not being automatic which is the key.Chances are that if you keep your ears pealed as it were you can probably snag a job or so.You seem to be out there and not in the normal point, as long as you don't go on automatic which judging by your post you won't you should be ok.The issues I had came from the fact that when I went through school, I advanced up the ladder with a promise of a pot of jewelry and gold at the end.I climbed the ladder, got to the top, did uni and a few more courses and even some extra dj courses with a friend.I finnished my cv and found that not only is there no way to the other side but that there is no way down either till the ladder rusts.I am set up for, blankness.I have reached the top, what do I do now?Is anyone here?Obviously they all know and have left me here.The qustion will you need a job.Probabl

what you are making is the PE, its the envi needed to install windows. If you don't have a 4GB or larger drive, maybe you have some DVD-R's if not well... Buy a thumb drive, they're not expensive, and you can easily get one that's far more than what you need.Maybe someone makes a stripped down bootable environment that contains no actual windows setup, or the WIM file. Even if that's the case, its not windows, and you can't use it that way, so you'd still need to install windows on the box. There's really no getting around this unless you could deploy a network image or something which I don't know how to do since I"m not a sysadmin / network specialist, and have had no need to do so, just buy a flash drive.If you do have a DVD-R you can use it of course, but the flash drive is so much faster, they're not expensive, like I say, so go buy yourself one, and you'll find other uses for it.

  people, while it may seem as if I'm defending him, he must be able to program somewhat, even if the code is stolen. something tells me he could make a game, just chooses not to. as for the full story of him and sam, I'm yet to hear the truth, the reality, with evidence supporting it. too bad I never will, for I have no connections to hear it from. PS. I even offered to test for him, and make it better, and different to what's out there. he chose to not take on the offer.

over all i found the new features good. it's just the fact that apple didn't really add something new that makes it worth to rase the price of their new Iphone that high. it's simply not worth it if you look at other phones on the market and compare them with what apple has implemented in their latest phone.the new samsung phone has all the things that apple has and they still managed to sell it at 700 dollars.although the screens  and other component for the s8 is more expensive and the value of the phone goes down when you change screen etc. that's not the case with Iphones .however. i'm still not sure if i really want to buy this new phone. over all apple makes products with good quality that lasts longer than samsung devices does but this time it's ismply not worth to buy their new phone

actually, if you can remember the original location of all partitions on the disk, you can use either fdisk, gdisk for gpt, or parted to recreate the partition table. The partition table is only a small part of the disk. As long as you didn't recreate a new partition table and format the new partition, using the old table with the original locations will allow you to see and recover your data, since the actual data is still sitting on the disk. As a last resort, use a tool like photorec or testdisk to recover the files, although the filenames will be different. If you started to use the disk for new data, i.e format partitions and try to store new information on those partitions, you may be able to recover certain data, but the more you write to the disk, the less of the old content will be recoverable. hth

I don't know about anyone else but even if I was an Apple fan, I found nothing in Apple's new offerings that had a feature I couldn't live without. Over all they were all rather underwhelming if you ask me.My iPhone SE works just fine for my needs, plus I prefer it's smaller format than the larger formats of the newer iPhones. Besides that, it has a Home button with Touch ID and a headphone jack.As for iOS 11, I'm going to take Joe Steincamp's advice and wait for 11.1 before upgrading my phone as there are some major accessibility bugs in 11.0.

Oh apple, why do you have to be such a turd at times? Anyway, at least I have a mac laying around. I guess that I knew that my mac book would be useful for something. I wonder if apple would come out with those caching services for windows. It would be sweet in away. I am one of those that really like to have my content locally stored. If I had the money, I would have an onsite server filled up with all of my favorite movies, TV shows, and music. As things stands, I do not have the cash to buy all of the movies and TV shows I would like. Even if I did, what are the chances of me having enough to buy the server with enough disk space to hold it all. I did not even know about the caching service in 10.13. I did some looking on line today and from what I saw, some do not get the bandwidth problems. They assume that if you are on Wi-Fi that you would have enough to be getting on with. It is as if they totally forget about those who either have slow connections and or are on some kind of satellite connection with low bandwidth caps. Yes, I have made use of those satellite connections before, and I can tell you that they stink. LOL. Yes, I live out in the middle of know where and a five megabit DSL came to my area within the last five years. Before then, it was pretty much dialup, satellite and or a cell phone connection. As for the cell phone connection, I pretty much have to step outside to place and receive calls seeing that I get no service within the house. Sometimes I go to a family  member’s house in another state here in the US, and they have some kind of wireless that is supposed to be 10 megabits down, but is often two or three megabits down. They do not have much option there either seeing where they are at. So to say that apple is a turd is a bit of an understatement at times. Anyway, As for IOS 11, I am going to wait a bit to see how that turns out for others. As for the IOS devices, I have no reason to upgrade this year. I am on an IPhone 6S and I have an IPad aer two. I even have an IPod touch fifth gen laying around somewhere. So, as you can see, this could had been good enough to make me want to upgrade, but the devices just does not seem that much better than what I have. Having very little cash on me at this time is also another reason for me not to go in for the upgrade. I got my phone a week or so before we even found out about the IPhone seven. September second would be the exact day of last year. If I only weighted about a week or two, I would had gotten a better deal on my phone, but I sort of needed a new phone anyway. As for the Apple TV, seen one, but I never owned one of my own. So, I kind of have mixed feelings there. As for the Apple watch, I do not miss it at this time. I have gone a number of years without a watch on my wrist, and I am not too sure I want to start wearing one again now. Speak in which, I need to go and see if I can get the Wi-Fi calling enabled on my account. It may get me in better graces with vocational rehab seeing that I either have to be out on the road while talking, or visiting, and or outdoors when talking to them.

Hi.The game is kind of accessible. I do wish they had tones for when you click on something and nothing happens but they don't so you have to kind of guess.I gave up on the game after playing it for about an hour.I've realised I prefer incremental games on my Iphone compared to my laptop.IN this browser bassed game, you have to build things like robots to help with ore mining, and air clearing. Make it so that people perform tasks and check the log for storie updates.I have wrote on the developers reddit page about this game and making it more accessible. I have not received any answers yet and honestly don't think I will, but I thought it was worth trying to write to them.

I am also in a siimlar situation, happ with my life but I don't know what I'll be doing in five years. At the moment, I do martial arts, a drama group, i have a carer who comes roundonce a week and we get to do whatever, including playing games and going out. I take singing lessons, and at the weekends I do stuff as well, sometimes a martial arts group class, sometimes golf with the local blind society, sometimes headed to events that I'm interested in. But right now, I don't have a job and I don't know what sort of job I want to do, and I am wondering what might happen to me in something like 10 years time. Can I really keep on doing this forever, being on the pc a lot, doing more hobby stuff a lot? Will I need a job? What sort of job?

Ah. Well, I got a braille set from 64 Ounces, but that will set you back $50. I'm sure there's at least one accessible dice rolling app out there. I haven't experimented with any. There's actually dice rolling capability in the Fight Club app, but I haven't figured out how to get it to do what I want. You can choose how many dice to roll and add modifiers. I might play with it more today and let you know if I figure it out.

You sort of do have to check the side quests bit just to know when to do each of them.I will say it doesn't have spoilers, or at least it tells you when such and such happens but not the actual details, eg, you need to talk to x character after you've unlocked x area, so don't worry about spoilers, the story in the game is very nicely written, albeit the furthest I've got thus far is episode 3.

I personally would love a naval or pirate themed game, but one set in the days  of gunpouder, buccaneers and loot gaaar!Sadly we've not got one yet, but there is This rather fun pirate themed text game called Avast yee maties It plays a little like one of those old dos adventures, and is made with the quest system, though unlike a lot of games with that system is quite accessible. The stats and combat are fun, and I particularly like the randomness, albeit I'd love to see something with real time elements, sound etc, and a little more to ship management than just stats for crew, hull and cannons. I also wonder about some of the muds, though sadly most of the ones with sailing ships don't let you have an npc crew which is a miner pest.

Well there are no rules about not posting links to web radio and such, so feel free to, and if your going to make announcements related to Vandettacrime etc then it is about games, however if you want to discuss what music you'll be playing or other none game related stuff maybe the offtopic room is the place for that.

More users does not equal more drama... and definitely not the type mentioned here.I don't know why you only stick to one point, that tk is based on source code from sam. It's ok, it's leagul, Sam allowed it, the end. But, I, my self, don't think that it's a good game that's based of an other game, leagul or not. but, Ivan has menny other falts. for example, there is this thing about having menny friends in his community, and just don't giving a shit about other players.On mainstream gaming forums, you would never see a post like this... because the community is too big and any accusation of this nature would be laughed at. Not to mention that thank God, no people, including developers, are stupid enough to post chat logs of what they've said to other people... and I agree with post 26 about games. The word clone gets thrown around here all too freely... and the accusations that one game stole from another.
