@ambro86, I did stop my windows defender and added bc.exe as an exclusion and even the folder that I was installling it into but it still didn't work. I am ggetting the same message after the installer is reaching around 99%.

All I know for sure is that my plugin is installed in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steinberg\VstPlugins\GlaceVerb.dll and I'm running Win 7 X64.I guess just make sure GW knows where it is and try the other form of the plugin just to see if that works, or install it somewhere else if you can like in c:\VST or something.

Okay having examined the mod closer after downloading, I think the only ones I truly like are the BMW and the two Handa's, which are really good!The Mock 1 car isn't bad either.RX7 has a cool startup sound but the engine is clearly just that fridge ambient from Redspot and it has some clicking sounds in the background, just weird...Plane has a low quality jet engine but a propeller startup... And no other interesting horn sounds or crashes sadly...Blade protector is just, IMHO a stupid idea for a car, not sure where it came from LOL and it has barely any sounds.And the Farari I mean, it has a crappy mouth made screech, and a motorcycle sound for an engine, oddly.If you want to improve these, check out the stickied post in the dev room. It's not very well organized for sure, but just go with the sites like zapsplat, soundgator,a nd freeSFX, they'll have generally better quality than stuff like OpenGameArt or freesound.

That game is called the randomness of sound.Screaming Strike is fun too.I like bloodshed and TBR and Battlezone Remake.Psychostrike aint bad either, just not good for anything else IMHO.I play GMA tank commander too, with the ABCEA cheat.

There is a help menu available right when you start the game, before you even log in.. and all I can say about creating  accounts using websites in chinese is, well, Google translate does translate pages from the web. But everyone has their own preferences, for sure. Noone will judge if you don't play the game because it isn't translated into English.

GPD Win 1 microphone issue

Hello all,I have been having a really odd issue with the internal microphone on my GPD Win. I'm using the model with the Intel Atom X7-Z8750 processor.THe microphone will sometimes disappear and I cannot use it. It doesn't appear in the list of recording devices in Control Panel, and applications cannot find or use it. What's really odd is it seems to randomly appear when I completely shut the device off and reboot Windows, while sometimes doing this does nothing at all. What's going on here? Is this a driver issue in Windows or a problem with the device? I can't find any problem or unknown devices in Device Manager.I'm not going to worry too much, since the microphone isn't very good anyway. Still, Why is it happening and how can I fix it?

Ah crap I didn't realize I wasn't supposed to render, but it's so obvious now why. :-(I remember I used two bands for the radio and the underwater both. I think Radio was like 105hz and 212hz, with inf gain on the lower band and -55 on the upper one? Either that or the other way around... I don't remember my bandwidths unfortunately but I know that one of them was about 5.  I also committed the sin of raising the output gain above 0 (I think it's at like 5) but I was careful at least and took your advice with setting the Reaper volume to 50% of full.For under water I forget my upper band's HZ sadly, it was like 6k I think? But I know my lower band was 20HZ and 1.96 width.Anyway, here are my things from lesson one. still need to optimize your voice, but since you basically told us how I figured I may as well just do it to see how it works and leave it at that.I did how ever figure out how to make the internal resonance of your microphone come out, which is pretty neat, like revealing secrets in the sound that I didn't even notice were there!https://cp.sync.com/dl/fac64c5a0/pkn78z … r-vnhk9iipAs for the dropbox problem, their are a few options. I'm very late to this comment, sorry, but no I won't do that simply because you can't edit .ogg files without messing up the sound quality when you save it, and allot of those sounds need to be trimmed a bit to get the parts you want, or need their volumes slightly changed.FLAC is the smallest file type that I know of that won't have that problem.You should be able to find .ogg converters pretty easily though...

Now another technical musician has surfaced named Moritz Simon Geist, who builds his own musical robots. Hello! I am trying to play World of Legends, but I can´t. When I try to open the game, my screen reader doesn´t say  anything. It only says Arrow down, up, left or right. It doesn´t read out any of the text. I can see the text on the screen, but it is hard for me to play the game this way. What do you Think is the problem here? Thanks in advance!

2. I meant after you press enter, personally I'd like a warning of sorts. If you mean the path being spoken whenever you load the map, there's not much to go off of. Maybe add a bit of descriptive text then? Could've fooled me.3. Yeah a sonar would work.4. Working off this idea a bit, it might be cool if you'd need to climb to get somewhere. I honestly don't know if you're aiming for complete realism / a simulation or not. If this is the case, scrap the idea entirely. The escape room I went to had no real physical obstacles such as climbing... But hey it's code and you can do whatcha want. Personally I'd say they probably don't have these sorts of things on purpose and for a reason that's far from financial. Seriously. Those places are hella expensive. But I digress.9. Cryptography is a pain inducing art. I'd say you'd want something basic. Don't waste your time attempting to devise the next advanced encryption standard... Just something good enough to where 90% of attackers would hit a stone wall.Another seed of an idea, it might be cool to give the user the ability to define random probabilities for given events. This would translate across the entire game, possibly eventually leading to maize generation or the like. This way you could have records for completion of each room, creating an element of competition. When it comes to this sort of thing customization is really the name of the game, pretty sure you know this since what we have here allows for a great deal of expansion.

Air Music Structure for Kontakt and KompleteKontroll.

Hi all. I understand this may be a bit unconventional, but, I was wondering if anyone wouldn't mind helping me to purchase the Structure library by Air Music. Hello!I live in Bucharest the capital city of Romania!What i can say about my city to sound nice?HmmmFirst we have a lot of traffic.The streets are lets say not soo good.But we have nice places too.Like the Cotroceni palace or the palace of Parliament.The palace of Parliament i heard that is actually the second biggest building in the world.After the Pentagon.We have a Triumphall Arch like in France wich is nice.The city is not too big but not too small.Its perfect size.Nice to meet you all!

I'm also from Pennsylvania. I live in Lancaster County, so there are a lot of Amish people near where I'm from. It's not at all unusual to see horse and buggies driving on the roads, and there are farms all around where I live. In the summer and fall, you can go to little produce stands that are run by the Amish that want to sell their goods, so it's easy enough to get locally grown fruits and veggies. Speaking of food, for some reason, Shady Maple, which is a grocery store/buffet-style restaurant, is a tourist trap. Since we live very near there, we often do our grocery shopping there, and it's a nice store. But I don't get why people travel from all over the state to eat at the restaurant. I've been there a couple of times, and I think the food is rather meh. It always used to boggle my mind whenever I'd hear people ranting and raving about going there. I mostly heard stuff like that when I lived in Philadelphia, and I still do on occasion.You also gotta love the names of some of the towns around here. I'm sure that PA is far from the only state that has suggestively named towns, but we have stuff like Blueball, Intercourse, and Bird in Hand. Blueball is actually pretty close to where I'm from, there used to be a neat bowling alley there when I was a kid, but it's since closed down.

As far as I know, there is no jumping required in any escape rooms, all the items that you need can be reached on the ground, but that's still an interesting thought.5: You aren't. As of now you'll have to save and edit the resulting .txt file.6/7: Noted and added, it's an oversight on my part.8: That's an interesting idea. If your going to be using structured maps that size you should really be using lists, not dictionaries. There are a few tricks you can use for navigating maps that size and doing border collision checks, such as liberal use of the len() function, which can tell you how long a particular axis of an array is. For example:maps = [[0,0,0,0,0],
[0,0,0,0,0],
[0,0,0,0,0],
[0,0,0,0,0],
[0,0,0,0,0]]

print(len(maps))
print(len(maps[0]))This creates a 5 by 5 2D map, the first print statement prints the length of rows there are, which would be considered vertical, and the second tells you the length of each individual row, which would be horizontal. So a 2D array could be considered: array[y][x], though I suppose you could arrange it however you like. Keep in mind that len() will return the total number of items in the list from 1 to whatever, but that lists start at 0 and go to the end point, so if you plan on using len() for indexing arrays, always do len()-1. Now as for how to control the tiles surface, all you really need is the number value, so 0 could be empty space, but you could switch that to 1 to represent a wall, 2 for a stairwell, 5 for a pork-chop, etc. Similarly you could replace the number value with a class reference for the player or an enemy NPC, or any number of things. For playing sounds, what you could do is take the players x and y coordinates within the map, and iterate through a section of map to play sounds, for example:#3 is a sound we want to play

Hey man, nice job. This is an extremely cool concept and I'm looking forward to see what you manage to do with it.A couple initial suggestions.You can remove the python source from accessible_output2 as well as sound_lib. Just keep the lib directory around.Complain when the user enters a non-existent sound pathMaybe make a camera of sorts that allows the player to see a hazard and where it's located relative to his position. In many mainstream games this would be pretty obvious. Additionally press a key to hear what items are in rough proximity to you.Maybe add jumping. I don't really know if an escape room has ever made you jump up and down for some reason or how realistic you'd like to make the game, but hey. It could be pretty kick ass anyway if, for example, you needed to skirt an object or something. I dunno.The ability to delete an item... Maybe I'm just missing something?the ability to exit a room and return to the main menu. Escape doesn't seem to workalt+f4 as wellMaybe the ability to create walls, or just boundaries that span a certain length. You could pick up an item that destroys the wallA room uploader that allows players to share their creations. Make sure you have to approve submissions though. You could expand this idea and create a scoreboard of sorts.Encrypt both a room file and the sounds that go with it. Instead of a sounds folder, maybe have a rooms folder. The hierarchy would look like rooms/, rooms/test.rm, rooms/test/, rooms/test/*.ogg, etc. Then in the main menu, an option to release room which would create test.erm (escape room). This would protect sounds so others couldn't use them.In addition, make a flag or something that doesn't allow the user to view or modify the room. So if I create a room, pack it in the menu, and release here people could just modify it to get to the desired destination. There goes the challenge.Realistic travelpoints that could allow for transporting to another room or just a different section of the mapMaybe make a list of flags as opposed to having the user enter one manually.

That will require 1 objects in a list. Unless, your tile classes contain the minimum and maximum coordinates for x and y, but then how would you control the tile's surface? Would you have it in the tile class itself? Then there comes a problem of playing the tile sound. Would I go and loop through the list of tiles and see if my x and y are within the bounds of the tile object?

Not always possible if they are always inside devices. SD cards in general are flimsy material partly due to the damned lock switch. Seriously, why we haven't moved to password protection on these cards is beyond me.There are other brands that make much more durable cards, but I don't recall any off hand (they are even more expensive though) and I haven't been able to try any directly. It also could have to do with the sd card slot you're putting the card in. For example, this aging macbook pro's sd card slot is way too tight and moves the lock switch at times.

I am in total agreement.  Taking it a step further, what I want to see is better accessibility for game engines and programming/development tools.  For example, Unity is inaccessible to us.  Another example of inaccessibility is unreal engine, developed by Epic Games.  As I've got a college course coming up that uses that engine, I'm wondering how I'm going to complete it.  It's something that needs to be looked at.  Just because our eyes are broken, that doesn't mean that we don't play games, and it doesn't mean that we can't develop, or help to develop, games that appeal to all.  Our brains are not dead, and I'm quite frankly sick of that very attitude that seems to be so commonplace among people with vision.  I'm sick of being an afterthought, or even worse, pitied and assumed to be infirm or otherwise irreparably damaged, merely because I don't experience my environment or acquire knowledge by a modality that is considered to be, quote normal, end quote, by those in society who have normally-functioning retinas, optic nerves, and visual cortices.  The level of ignorance about blindness is absolutely astounding to me.  Ignorance due to a lack of knowledge is one thing.  Willful ignorance simply because you have no desire to learn or because you are too lazy to learn pisses me off.  There's no excuse for it...none.  To be fair, even more of an anathema to me is how easily and readily those of us who are blind tolerate the attitudes of society.  We're content to take whatever scraps we're given, the token attempts at placation with morsels of accessibility added into things as an afterthought, as if that's all we deserve.  That pisses me off as well.  As for me, I consider myself just as capable and intelligent as the person right next to me who has an uncorrected visual acuity of 20/15, and I believe that I deserve the same access and the same opportunities for success that he or she does.  But until we have a shift in our attitude and way of thinking, until we are no longer content with insincere apologies, scraps, morsels, and paltry attempts at placation as if we are recalcitrant children in need of soothing, that's all we'll get.

IOS is based on the ARM architecture, so you'd need an emulator, not a vm. Android does have an x86 project though, but I know of no vms accessible out of the box.

I am in total agreement.  Taking it a step further, what I want to see is better accessibility for game engines and programming/development  tools.  For example, Unity is absolutely inaccessible to us.  Another example of inaccessibility is unreal engine, developed by Epic Games.  As I've got a college course coming up that uses that engine, I'm wondering how I'm going to complete it.  It's definitely something that needs to be looked at.  Just because our eyes are broken, that doesn't mean that we don't play games, and it doesn't mean that we can't develop, or help to develop, games that appeal to all.  Our brains are not dead, and I'm quite frankly sick of that very attitude that seems to be so commonplace among people with vision.  I'm sick of being an afterthought, or even worse, pittied and assumed to be infirm or otherwise irrepribly damaged.  The level of ignorance about blindness is absolutely astounding to me.  Ignorance due to a lack of knowledge is one thing.  Willful ignorance simply because you have no desire to learn, or because you are too lazy to learn pisses me off.  There's no excuse for it...none.

Hi all,This is an advertisement for my guild on drakor, we are currently looking for new members, we are currently with four, but we are eager to welcome new members to our ranks. As I said, either use a package explicitly designed for large matrices, or create a 2D list, like so:l=[]

  lst = []

The Care of an Sd card

Hi.I use the standard sd cards because I've used them for years, and I like them very much. I don't have a problem with micro they just aren't my preference. Anyway, I've had a few large sd cards over the years in the past two years I've had two sandisk sd cards, both have cracked over time. One has two chips on each side, the other has cracked completely on one side so I know it won't last long. I was able to pull my data off of it.I'm wondering how can I keep this from happening to my new card? I use them everyday, is there a better way to preserve them? Or does this have something to do with the sandisk brand? I'd appreciate any help you can give me.

See, my issue is this.Suppose I want to spawn 0 by 1 x and y platform. While it will be stupidly huge, I can't spawn it in the first place. I'm using python dictionaries, and I get a memory error when trying to append so many keys and values to it. To be fair, it did contain 22 million keys before it crashed so...I'm wondering about a good way to do maps  as well. Most things I've found are dictionaries that are pared with an x and a y coord and a tile type, and that seems to work, but then again, I'm limited on my map size, and that's the last thing I want to happen.I considered using a list to load only small chunks of map data, but then I lose the fine control the dictionary allows with tiles, again, something I do not want to happen.Tips?
