Turning off "use screen layout usually displays things on separate lines with chrome, though I've been noticing this problem less and less in later NvdA versions. I can't speak about speed since Chrome's always seemed really quick to me. The only time I've ever hard to wait in terms of loading is when synchronising settings with another device, and even that is only really noticeable on my laptop which just has 3 gb of ram.

Opera is based on Chromium, the same engine that powers Chrome, Brave etc, so it renders web content in the same way Chrome does. In my limited testing of it I haven't found it to be any faster than Chrome with NVDA, but ymmv. Either way I would not advise using Opera at all. Yes, it has a built-in VPN and an ad blocker, but that's just to lull you into a false sense of security. Opera is owned by some Chinese company, and they also have a partnership with Facebook where they put Messenger and such in Opera's sidebar.

I actually didn't know Opera was still going; well the browser as opposed to the musical theatre, that I know quite a bit about .I thought Opera  Merged with Safari or got bought out by someone else and was now operating under a different name, though again I've never looked into the situation myself more completely since I was previously quite happy with IE and now am quite happy with chrome.

I didn't intend for the layout to be like a maze, except in specific locations.I limited access to smaller areas with the use of doors requiring keys, and tried to position sounds and small descriptive comments to aid navigation. Some were added after I got lost in my own game during testing.One solution, for other games, that I was considering, was small buildings containing limited corridors and rooms within a wider area of free movement.Another approach might be to allow the player to select a destination, or a doorway, and guide them with directions to follow.I really want to do a C&C Renegade type 3D game where the player can commandeer different vehicles, including aircraft.The games in the compilation are tiny steps in that direction.I know I can do better. Navigating a complex environment is key to a lot of interesting possibilities.

I'm less bothered by the fact that its owned by a chinese consortium now, than basically it sounds like the majority of the features are either implemented in other browsers like chrome, EG fishing filter, delete browser history etc, or basic visual aids like this quick dial thing which don't sound like they'd help screen reader navigation much, as I said, I personally hate tab browsing and would rather have several new windows open instead.Apparently Opera is indeed slightly faster on slower  due to data compression, though with the connection speed on my desktop that would have less  effect on me at this point. Btw, this isn't intended as an opera bash, just what I've found out.

I try to pick up at least one actual identify scroll, then use it on them, reload the game without saving, use it again ETC and try to remember based on the position in the inventory and the level of the scroll which one it is.Also, when you get 3 or 4 scrolls at once, it's pretty much always healing or identify.

Generally in audio terms, one way you increase difficulty of navigation is by reducing available information, EG give the player relative directions of travel rather than absolute compass directions for example "forward, right left" rather than "north south east" , and remove nav aids like coordinates or "have I visited here before" type of keys. This is why I wondered if the intention in Cavern quest was to deliberately create a difficult maze to solve, what with the need to calculate direction of travel vs available exits relative to the player's position.If that was not the intention, I'd definitely suggest adding a coordinates system for each room at the least, EG 1-1 1-2 2-1 etc.Guided navigation and routes to travel can work, however the problem in that case is that the game ends up feeling less like exploratory navigation, and more like finding specific objects. new horizons, being first person and allowing free movement got the balance here exactly right, however manifestly there isn't a huge amount of stuff in space to run into .In general coordinates systems are a good thing in audio terms, especially if the environment is less open and less full of ambient sounds  to navigate by, indeed Cavern quest would probably be %100 fine if it had coordinates. I like the idea of an open area containing smaller buildings, but that more because I personally love exploring, and going and wandering around the overworld then poking my nose into some abandoned house to see if there is a monster inside is just the sort of thing I like in game terms .

Hmm, maybe check out how A hero's call, Swamp, Sarah and the Castle of witchcraft and wizardry, and BK3 all do it?Those last three you can find in the games database here and try out for your self, but AHC has no demo so I linked a video they put out explaining the radar.If you need help getting those games running just ask, but reading the navigation parts of their manuals will get you up and running, at least as much as is needed for this...I'm not saying you have to outright copy anything youf ind there, but it could really help you with ideas and it's allot easier to experience it your self VS having it explained sometimes.

All of those however Defender are first person, where as Cavern quest just lets you move in the cardinal directions. whilst checking out something like swamp or shades of doom might be a plan generally, it also depends upon the type of game in question, after all New Horizons did a pretty awesome job with vehicular first person in space using an autopilot, scanner ahead and sounds for smaller objects.

Your code is very hard to read. If you'd do all the work in the spikeloop, I think the problem would be solved. I don't see the need for the spike hit me variable, either. Even better would be if you used classes way more. example: if enemies and player were subclassed from the same superclass, you could have an array of all living beings and in the spike loop you'd loop over that array and hit anyone in range. The way this would work is that you handle all keyboard input like moving, in the player class, maybe in a function like update. In the enemy class the update function could be much simpler and simply make the enemy move towards the player.

I agree with post 1, this was the only thing that actualy helped me migrate to skype 8, it kinda works the same, except it is still browser-ish.Ty, UWP kinda looks like skype 7, but it is more buggy, has more problems and jumps to the bottom of the damn chat.I am glad that I do not have to use it anymore, just once a week.

Hello Munawar!Its very good to find that you are still working to improve TDV - thanks a lot for that.I have just updated to the newest Version and am sad to tell that I found a bug that makes the game very difficult to Play.My Problem is that the game tends to freeze as soon as I pres the TAB key to get some Status Information. This behaviour does not occur all the time, but very often as soon as I am airborn. I found this Problem both in DM as well as in MP-mode. Sometimes the game Comes back after a few seconds, sometimes it seems to freeze completely so I have to kill it by using the task Manager.Kind regards from Daniel!

Hello everyone,I just wanted to say a big thank you to Morokuma for such an awesome game. I didn't play that much for the moment, I had my first monster, a Sky Ringer called Staraptor which is a bit more than three years old, it is at rank B in everything except colyseum where it's at rank S. It's at the period where it should consider retirement, well I guess it wasn't too bad for my first monster.Also big thanks to all the composers who have more or less directly contributed to the soundtrack. My favourite so far is Entrance Hall, but I couldn't listen to all of them so far. When it comes to Soleil-Musique for example, I couldn't get any download link to activate on their website.Also just for curiosity, is the song you hear during birthdays a traditional japanese song for birthdays or has it been composed for the game?

Thats strange. After going on bot Controllers down once then I hit on my xbox Controller A. Then I'm pushing the button on my Keyboard. After that it says something About profiles. and after hitting a on my Controller I have to select an other profile for the second one. After that I can select a Wrestler.

I have the nagging feeling in the back of my head that there is something wrong with how my PCSX 2 is set up, all though it was set up right in the beginning.How can I make sure that the xbox controler is gamepad 1 and the keyboard is gamepad 2 again? Haven't done this in quite a while.This is the only error I can think of now.Greetings Moritz.

You kind of do. How can you know how quick such a setup is? Additionally, when playing online you can always learn something new. In practice, the ice avalanche deck seemed really strong to me, but in reality even in 300 HP it takes a long time, and by that time something else would have already done the job.

Hi all. Have a great month and hope you have great vacation. I wanted something new to play, like a strategy or RPG game.However the iPhone does not have many games like that. So I thought why not try an MMORPG or strategy web based online game. I tried Alterian but it works best on the PC. I tried Unification Wars but the server is down. Now I am trying Drakor. From what I read on the app description it seems like a good game to try. Which web based online safary game do you think works best on an iPhone? What is your experience? I like the idea and would even like to explore it myself (the Morse code project). Many probably think it ore of a novelty kind of thing, Morse code, I mean, but integrating something like that with haptic feedback would be pretty cool. If it were such that it could be used on say, an Apple Watch, to read things like texts or emails, that would be so useful in loud environments and during times when you don't have headphones or it might not be appropriate to have VoiceOver reading out loud. Anyways, I digress.

Hi, So I started learning MML in november, it's my way of thinking that it's a programming language that I can finally understand, although it's made to make music instead of games. But I've made a few tracks over the past few months, focusing on remixing existing game music, with the limitations of the NES's capabilities.  I'm planning on remixing tracks from more audiogames as well, since the first track I posted to youtube was a remix of Windsorhowl from Time Crest2, (not sure what the original track is from...)Some of my friends know about this and Zarvox even used that Windsorhowl track I created inside one of his projects, but I would like to improve as time goes on, and I don't think many people know that I even exist in terms of MML. So I'm asking if there's any spacific site that I can post these to that focuses on this kind of stuff? I guess listening or feeling the morse code in high speeds is in a way kind of similar to listening your tts in a very fast rate. When sighted people hear my screenreader, they often ask me, how the heck can you understand it. Then I explain to them that I have just gradually made it faster and faster. It seems logical to me that it works the same way with morse code. Of course, whether or not to dedicate a big chunk of time to that is another issue.

That's...ahem, exactly what I'm trying to tell you. I have tested it in 180-HP council fights, and it's spooky fast even with resists thrown in. From this I can extrapolate how fast it is later. You don't have to worry about missing out on avalanches because the Brewing card gives you a freebie when used. I'm not saying it's as overdone as the Ancient Time strat, but it's still scarily quick, and pretty reliable. The only onion in the ointment is that Avalanche can miss.

So, this is my situation: English is also my second language. However I grew up in the US, in which the main language spoken is English. I'd like to think I gained a level of native fluency due to my exposure to English throughout my life. To clarify, I was born in the US and I attended school here as well, but in my home, with my family, I did not speak English. Even with all this, I still believe my English-speaking abilities are not where they should be as compared to a typical person who grew up speaking English at home, at school, and all other places. There are many people in my situation in the US! All this is to say that when it comes to spelling, it took me quite a bit to adapt to how English words looked like, their semantics in different contexts, and variations which they could take on with respect to pronunciation and spelling. Also, I'm not attempting to minimize my progress. I understand that I write and speak relatively well. But I still feel self-conscious from time to time. There is an inherent difference of sorts, noticeable by English speakers, when I speak the language. It's probably not so apparent when I write, but certainly is when I speak. As others have already mentioned, reading a lot in actual Braille really does help. I read many books in physical Braille copies growing up, and when I learned how to use a computer, and I learned about Braille displays, you can bet I used them extensively to get a lot of reading done. Especially technical material! Unfortunately, the way I see it is that if English is not your first language, there will always be a gap of knowledge whether you know it or not, or even if it appears apparent to you or not. English grammar and spelling is some of the weirdest simply due to influence by many languages. You can thank French-based, Germanic-based, and even old Latin-based languages and dialects. haha At the end of the day, if people can understand you, that's all that really matters. Of course, professional spelling and formality are different. Especially here in the US if you are trying to get a job. If my technology career hadn't taken off, I would have become a linguist because I find this kind of thing really interesting. But I digress!

Another little update I've done since the end of the Develop-a-thon, this one has a couple of nice features in it like the new knight 2 hero system and the new independent crown system.**KNIGHT 2 HERO SYSTEM**You can hire any number of heroes each turn to take up one of the five spots, but not your own tough knights, not anymore, now when you enter the list of heroes to recruit to the positions you will notice a new option. Quick sidenote. I tried using OCR with my Xbox and the Elgato software, and it didn't work. Have you been able to read a game with it?As for your issue. I suppose I would just ditch the splitter. I feel it a small inconvenience to have to switch HDMI's, instead of not having it work at all. The Elgato software is already a pain in the ass to use, so I really have no idea what could be wrong.

@18, that's news to me. I would've never guessed that!  Yes, English is trickier among other languages because of its roots spreading across multiple other languages. It isn't like Spanish or any of the romantic languages that you can spell almost perfectly if you know the semantics of the language (emphasis/stress, vowels, consonants, etc). That's why, contrary to belief, spelling bees aren't just about memorizing the dictionary. It's much, much deeper. Understanding a language is way more involved than the cosmetic ability to remember how words are spelled, and that's what makes the champions of such tournaments a force to be reckoned with - they have that level of understanding with languages of origin. They're not just asking those questions to fit a stereotype. I know it might seem like I'm super fascinated by this stuff when in reality I'm really not, but there is something to be said about the ability to spell.As far as practicality, there are plenty of Americans who can't write it properly. You know, the word donut ( spelled d o n u t) should actually be doughnut (d o u g h n u t), but we dumbed it down for some reason, and it doesn't even make sense. Doughnut. Dough. Nut. Doughnut. @1With OBS, you won't get an audio output whilst you're recording, that's how the software works.  That's why you need a headset or additional speaker system hooked up to your console or TV.Not sure how you've even got the Elgato software into a usable state just with OCR and other controls.  Out of curiosity, what can you access like this?I'd say really for your needs though, just make sure you have a 3.5mm headset and that way, whatever console you're using you should be able to hear what you're working with games-wise.If you'd want simultaneous PC and game input, I'd recommend the Logitech G935 - it's wireless and has a 3.5mm input as well.  So you can plug your controller into your headset and have it just work whilst your PC is still on outputting OCR theoretically based on what you've said here.There are ways to get audio via OBS, but I've never used it myself so can't speak to how well it works/any issues that you might come across.

@cacio we actually updated the combat system a couple of days ago to help address this further. The combat is still card-based, but now you set targetting modes for your weapons instead of manually targetting them (unless you really want to). This free's up time to focus on playing non-attacking cards of which you can play 3 of each turn, with the choosing time being 2 minutes. Additionally, the targeting modes work with autoplay, meaning you can choose a targeting mode (strongest, weakest, fire at will etc) and then enable autoplay to play the rest of the cards for you. The default targeting mode is also 'weakest targets'.

alright so I got an account and narator wor mode works. I can look around with the left and right arrow but I can not make the story go forward. What do I do to take actions, enter only says no options. I hit the limits of left and right and hear a bloop.

You can press escape at any time to enter the main menu and navigate it using the up and down buttons and press enter to select an option. There you will find a narrator menu that lets you adjust the speed and volume of the narrator. We're also planning to make these options available in the user profile.We've had trouble getting all screen readers to read the games as intended so the narrator seemed like our best option and find it to work flawlessly on most platforms. If anyone still has problems getting the narrator to work let us know what web browser and operating system you're using and we'll find a solution.

Braille isn't as readily available to folks as it should be. thousands of dollars for a good Braille display these days just so you can read modern formats in Braille? Give me a break. Not to mention an embosser is another large chunk of change.
