King of dragon pass and six ages are both great, though I've not got far into six ages yet myself, and yee gods those games will take your time. If you like strategy, a few minutes of glory is worth a try, I've also recently been quite the fan of tank battle endless gunner, and path of adventure is always worth a look.There are then the  fantastic rpgs a dark room and the ensign (the ensign particularly can be brutal), and Nano empire, which has some similar mechanics to a dark room but is less extreme. land of livia is a time based rpg I've had fun with in the past, though at the moment I'd like to reset my game and try again as I'm not sure where in the story I am exactly. Speaking of time based games, there's also the extremely good timecrest which is an interactive story with rpg like elements played over time.I wish the adventure to fate games still worked correctly with voiceover, but sadly they've not been updated in quite a while and last I tried access was rather wonky.In another vane, for something which is pure strategy in a card game for, Lost cities is worth playing, especially against others, and though they're traditional games there are gameworld and dice world, indeed gameworld particularly is one I pull out when I want to just keep my brain ticking over for a minute with a word search or quick rand of trivia questions, and for strategic building games there are knight commander and crafting kingdom. Actually speaking of knight commander, woodside aps have done a great job with their access, and if you fancy strategy games like tetris or mine sweeper their titles might be well worth a look.Story based games there are the hosted games, choice of games and Delight games gamebook libraries, and there are a few audio adventures like codename signas. Most pure audio games tend to be arcade style, but there are some extremely good ones, FEER is always worth a try, and the recently released audio wizards is  rather fun. Audio hub 2, has a couple of nice audiogames, I particularly like animal escape and the samurai games. I also personally enjoyed space encounter as a random space invaders game, though many people did not. I'm also sad in the audio vane that the old games from somethinelse no longer work correctly as they're fantastically done first person action adventures, and in the case of audio defense zombie arena, a great arcade shooter requiring actual movement from the player (I've heard circus master is similar, though I've not tried that yet).If you want a very nuts set of puzzles that really get you to try out your Iphone, have a look at blackbox.The blindfold games vary in quality and people have a downer on many, particularly because often their menus and  basic design model can be a bit off putting and the prices of their games can vary  to how you calculate things, however, they are games that use some very interesting varients on haptic control methods with the Iphone, I particularly enjoyed their blindfold runner and breakout games, and some others that utilise gestures such as pool and hopper, though some other of their titles I wasn't impressed with at all.Hth.

I have an iPhone 8+; it supports haptic and taptic and whatever comes with tic. I tested the feature which can be found under Voiceover>audio>Sounds and Haptics, but the feature is so boring that I turned it off after 1 minute of use. That's only my viewpoint though as others may like it, but I personally can't stand it. I can't get why would one want his/her phone to vibrate in whatever action he/she takes on his phone. I know it's completely customisable, but still . . .Anyway, if anyone is by any degree desperate about testing and using the feature, I could lend you my phone for some days until your quentch is thurst. Ah, I mean until your thurst is quentched.

I want to point out that yes - I don't advocate for centralized servers - but I don't advocate for decentralized servers either. If your server is completely centralized, you're forced to play with everyone on that server. If you decentralize everything, you're going to have different maps/worlds on different servers, and if you want one map you may have to go to another server to play on that map. I'm an advocate for sub-servers, i.e., there is a centralized server to host all the maps/levels/worlds/take-your-pick, but each player gets to host their own sub-servers which works pretty much the same way any decentralized server would. You would have your own admins, complete and total control over your sub-server, and the centralized end takes care of all the port forwarding and map management so that you can focus more on keeping your player base managed. Plus, you'd get the advantage of hosting more than one sub-server as well, since all the sub-servers would be saved on the main server. Of course, this method of hosting comes with it's own set of issues... If the main server ever goes down, all the sub-servers go along with it. I don't think I've ever used the word server in a post as many times as I just did, and I sounded like I was advertising a product, but you guys get the basic gist.

@7, I just use the designer, NVDA seems to work well with it for me. It doesn't with WPF; there's a nice GUI library out there (its called XWT) that I use to make those (though I don't use WPF that often). As for theoretics, I unfortunately can't direct you to any books on theoretical knowledge involving C#; your more likely going to find books on general theoretical knowledge involving programming languages.

You're probably right about it not losing popularity. Weather it is or not though, the one thing we can say for certain is that it's not been hacked and it's not been leaked or boycotted. Mason and Ivan have both had their games boycotted, and it seems like the reason is that they chose to get rid of decentralized servers and it pissed off a lot of people, to a point where not only did their source get spread across the border, but the forum was a complete mess of insults and general immaturity. We're still feeling the consequences of that downward spiral to this day to a certain extent. I'm not saying that it was all because of them centralizing everything again, after all it was the people who played those games who didn't handle their frustration properly and ultimately decided to target the developers and other players in a more destructive manner rather than calmly displaying their displeasure to the developer. If they had calmly discussed their differences, a lot of the problems we have now - such as The Killer being banned from the forum - would not have happened. Unfortunately, as human beings we know that complete and total civility is not possible, and people will react negatively and cause chaos over just about anything, hell maybe the post I'm typing up right now will spark something from people, which obviously isn't my intention. Knowing how uncivil people can be, the developers should have left things as they were. If Talon ever decided to centralize RTR, I believe I could safely say the entire forum would erupt with anger and things would spiral out of control, just as they have with TK.

Hi Folks,I installed ios 13 and tried to play some of the blindfold games.So far some of them do not work.The shuffling feature of Blindfold card games is stuck.However, the game Blindfold Words From Words works fine. The ios 13.1 is now scheduled for September 24 instead of 30.Hope that games bug is fixed.

The thing is, it's difficult to gauge the popularity of games with multiple server support because you cannot possibly count the amount of players who are actively playing on private servers; just because you cannot count them doesn't mean that TRTR isn't being played. It's just that people are spread out and it makes it difficult to find servers, since most of them aren't public. This phenomenon is not unique to audio shooters, as mainstream shooters don't typically force people to play on one central server; this seems to be a pathology that the blind shooter community seems to have developed. I'm not trying to be rude here, but people shouldn't be forced onto one crowded server. Instead, there should be a better mechanism for finding and connecting to existing servers, somewhat similar to the way it works in Top Speed.

Granted, you have as long as iOS updates don't break the game completely, but it is still leagues ahead of this game. PHP, getting started?

So I'm not asking for a tutorial here. The matter is much more trivial.I have tried to get PHP onto my machine without success. I have tried tools like xampp, which was partially accessible, I have managed to launch it, start up a php server, but here's where my problems come in:Consider this code:

Maybe it's the code, maybe it's something else, but ur... that doesn't work when I go and try it with xampp.So, my question is, how? How would one run php?I don't want to use a free host out there... Uploading files just to fix an error is a bit too absurd, I want to test it on my machine and only upload when I verify that everything works successfully.Suggestions/tips?

I'm noticing a Pattern for Audio FPSs

Hello.Someone will have to correct me if I'm wrong, but I've got a theory. TRTR has multi-server support, and it's popularity is fizzling out naturally. Ultra Power and The Killer, when they were still around, initially had multi-server support but it was taken out. Red spot never had it. For Ultra Power and The Killer, they were hacked and had the source leaked shortly after multi-server support had been stripped, and Red spot was hacked at some point as well. Do people hack these games because they're angry about them either having server support and getting it stripped or not having it at all, and they opted to take their frustration out in a more destructive manner?

Yeah, perhaps you're right about the book to be informatinve and another guy about the things looking on the internet, however I usually use books because of the good theoretical background and I just love to create what they say to do by following chapters. I guess it's the differences between the styles we use to learn and I already know the way my brain use to handle data / info efficiently.We baught a books Learn C# in 1 day. I usually avoid such books, because from the personal experience - there impossible to do it professionally even after months of decent work, however I thaught it might be as a syntax guide  and I started to read it today. Since syntax is almost as in C++ + Java + PHP Mixture, I don't feel as cut off from the way I go as I thaught I would, but there are no chapters so I took some of them to implement from my other books I have about C++, however since I already solved them it's not so interesting and they don't always follow the current topic. I believe tomorrow I'll end this book, because only new thing in there seems to be linq and in a simple matter (I mean not deeply explained), so I guess I'll pick something else to move forward.Friend of mine has a lacl of tasks in the past as far as I got, so it would be a good help even to help him to learn by giving an exercises that follow the topic, but I guess I have to look them on the net.By the way, how are you creating Windows forms, or even better - WPF? I tried to use that IDE and it works well for coding, but for a Designer, NVDA starts to lag / hang up when there are more elements /  controls in the form. You write controls by hand or have some partial methods like I quickly managed to work out - create these controls by hand and use VS as a refresher?

Here is my strategy. It may or may not work, so use at your own risk .I call this, the compensation deck plan. Basically, you put the main type, example fire. Then i put in water, because water beats fire, and just in case i come across any water type foes, it'll do little damage. Then I put grass type cards to compensatate for water, in case i get something else. You just compensate for your cards. A great type to play as in my opinion is water, grass and electric. Fairy is great, just get a bunch of sound cards. I like grass because of its healing cards. I like fire and water because they do a lot of mid level damage.

I actually ran through the game last year. It was still a lot of fun, indeed whilst the difficulty seems pretty shallow in comparison to other side scrollers, everything is solid, no wonky detection or lapses in calculation that result in funny deaths, also the difficulty all comes from placement rather than overloading the place with so many enemies it becomes ridiculous.

Ethin,I worked on the Shades of Doom map. The map shows walls as a line of g's and where you have been a line of a's.Spaces are where you have not been.The x is where you are located at the time you generated the map.It is designed to be brailled with a braille printer so a blind person could feel the walls.

The quests are basically just an order to go and do something, I confess at the moment its just nice to have  something where I can progress in without much trouble and gain quick rewards, though I admit more of a story would be nice. Also, well checking out browser games for access and trying all the stuff is very familiar to me at this point in time .Actually though I do quite like the more strategic type of idle games since I like working to unlock new stuff, especially managing a population that grows, one reason I'm really looking forward to galactic colonies on Ios.I've had a reply from the developers. The good news is they did like the idea of game access, the bad news is that they said "it might take a long time since they want to get the main game access fixed first. I've  found that you can pretty much access everything in game, though finding a lot of information is a bit crazy, EG if you have one thing, such as a bronze bar, you get a handy link in your inventory, if you have more than one, that link changes to a number with the quantity. On the plus side clicking on that link gets you to a page where you can do stuff with whatever the thing is, sell it, eat it, equip it etc, so its possible to see what things are what, on the down side this does still mean guess work given your inventory isn't really ordered. Some of the lables can be a bit bonkers too especially with level markers and markers for defence. Given this, I did gently intimate to the developers that fixes to lables would be much appreciated, so hopefully we'll be seeing something soon, as really in this day and age adding correct text labels to links on a website shouldn't be too much of a problem, and as I said, its quite possible to play without access to the progress bars. In the mean time, if people have any questions feel free to ask, as I've tried out most of  professions at this point, though some more than others.

Jayde, blueblood sounds risky to you for the exact reasons I have listed, and also do check the card out please first before writing things. You can't get fear because along with physical attack increase, you get fear decrease. Self  mutulation does nothing to you in 600 HP. If you take away 30 it makes little to no difference. It's very powerful, and I am not saying there is no risk, but there is supposed to be a huge risk for such a strong card.

This week I worked on adding support for DLC in the game, which means that I can distribute a zip file with extra content and you can install and play it.  I didn't quite get done, and being Friday afternoon my energy is gone.What I wanted to do was to release in-development versions of the next DLC on the patreon.  I've already got new tracks in development.Well I think next week I'll be able to make a lot more progress.  Lots of random stuff happened this week.

@27, I don't understand what the point is of kindling that fire. Yes, name-calling is impulsive and childish, but saying things like "I don't care if I get a warning for this..." or "you whining kid..." just doesn't seem very productive. Especially when the person who said it admitted to his mistake 3 days ago. What more do you want him to do?While I'm here, I might as well say my opinions on this situation. I could never host the site, couldn't even begin to know how. So I deeply respect anyone who can, and I respect anyone who has kids, a family, and a good stable life. I also appreciate the work that has gone into hosting this site and making it essentially the biggest resource for discussing and promoting audio games. It was the second site I knew about for audio game-related stuff (the first was l-works).However I can understand why people are frustrated. This site is free, I'm afraid, is little excuse. Yes, hosting a site costs money, but practically the entire Internet is free so long as you pay your ISP, and many sites have less errors than this one. Even a niche site made and hosted by fans of a particular topic have a Discord server, huge forums and very frequent maintenance. Of course, many more fan-made sites crumble into dust, so the fact that this one hasn't crumbled speaks to the popularity of the site and the dedication everyone here shares to keep it alive.With that said, there have been many topics in the site and forum feedback room which have had no response from admins. I'm not going to call specific ones out, as some of these issues have been long standing and I don't know if they occur for everyone or just me. But there still seems to be a general consensus that a fair amount of funky stuff is going on and nobody knows why, and we hear little to nothing from the webmasters until someone calls them shmucks out of frustration. Then they essentially call out the person who called them a shmuck and defend themselves, which is a very reasonable thing to do, but say little about how to address the problems we were meant to discuss. This has me a bit concerned.I do appreciate the effort that goes into keeping the site running, but we also need people to step in and make changes to how the site works, and the current webmasters seem not to have the time or interest to do that. So I'm hoping that more webmasters can join us in future who are technologically able to do those big administrative things. I'm not at all saying the current webmasters should be booted out. They just need some assistance. And if you ask me, they deserve that assistance aj thousand times over for the wonderful work they have done and continue to do.I hope this message reaches the right people and makes a difference.

Blueblood sounds way, way too risky. You have to hurt yourself, and then you only get one turn of huge attack. What if you're paralyzed/put to sleep/inflicted with fear/freaking miss?Nah, I'll take safer strats, myself.Examples follow.Blood deck: You'll want a bunch of dark cards (bite, bloody scratch for sure, crunch, faint attack, enlarge sore for certain), plus some dark symbols, plus one or two Shock from Terror, plus one or two Bloody Panic. Supplement these cards with some bug cards: injection of pollen, pin missile, poison sting, leach life, fury cutter, bloody meal for sure, and some vermin symbols). What you're aiming for here is to inflict the bleed status as soon as you can; if all or most of your cards are physical, then attacking will create more blood in your foe's hand. Now you can either use bloody panic and Shock from Terror, or you can use Bloody Meal for huge healing. Injection of pollen will make your foe a grass type, so if their hand has a lot of blood, and you have bloody meal, it's GG. Or use some combo of both.Sound deck: Basically just collect a bunch of sound cards (most of them found in the fairy type) and wreck. Might be able to pair with normal or ground or even ghost.Steel-flying deck: This one doesn't have fancy tricks, but these two types go pretty well together. Just use a bunch of good attacks from both.Dicemaster deck: This one is tricky, and since dice were nerfed a bit, it may not be so effective. The idea is that if you set up the right sort of dice (there are elemental dice, and then a lot of psychic cards to do this) you can get some pretty good, refreshable damage going. Use dice, call them back, use them again. Or just use certain cards to get a hand full of them and work that way.Ancient Time (I'm getting the name wrong): There's a rock card which, as long as you've played ancient ruin, will confuse the foe badly. There's a card in the psychic type that does damage based on a foe's confusion. Combine these two, and you'll have enormous damage. This needs nerfing, but for now, rock+psychic is a natural pairing if done well.

One of the mistakes people often make is worry about numbers too much. I honestly can't ever say hey my deck will have 20 dark and 10 bug cards, but rather focus on what you want to do with it. Here are some, but not all of the popular strategies. Let's first divide them in to two groups, low HP and high HP strategies. Your decks have major differences depending on whether you want to use them in a 30 or 600 HP round. For low HP, most important thing is attack as fast as possible. That's why the most often used ones are a short normal deck full of physical attacks with optional special attacks such as little flood or big flood of energy, as well as a fighting deck with similar attacks. I can share some example decks if that is easier for you. High HP rounds usually allow more strategising. There are some often used strategies like the arrows deck, which involves putting a couple of barriers which all have a passive effect for arrows and projectiles, preventive trussing to draw those barriers quickly, optionally confinement and unforseen confinement to draw them even quicker and get them from your discard, and some arrows of your choosing. You can either do physical with the arrow from rock tipe or dragon, or special with arrows from other tipes. There's a combo I use with ghost which involves doing all this with barriers, plus blasting power to increase your special attack and spectral dimension to change your target to be very effective on him, then use the arrow from ghost tipe. Note that this is usually 1 v 1 or 2 v 2 at most because you usually want to try to kill your target after your blasting power, and before 4 turns pass as that will activate curse. Some other strategies include a blue blood deck, playing self mutulation on yourself after collecting 15 dark simbols or so and trying to play at least 2 of them, then playing blue blood, a farry tipe 5 card to increase your physical attack to as many bleeding cards as you collected. Note that this lasts one turn, so make sure you have a good attack, feint attack from dark will do just fine. There is also the possibility of combining water and fighting or dark, but this usually involves the midnight ring card to increase your attack or fighting cards to increase your physical attack. Ground is also a good tipe to combine  with anything involving special attack with it's energetic mining card which is level 3 so easy enough to get, and also if you don't add any stat cards to your deck you can draw it anytime with the prospecting card from ground. This all sounds complicated and a lot to memorise, but just try getting into it and reading card descriptions to come up with something, and observe how other people play.

First open your project, then go to the compiler submenu byu pressing alt and going through those menus, and find create executable. Select where you want to save it and go to save. This works for me. By default the file name field is blank, so enter a file name and you should be good to go.

PHP help with sending emails

When I go to fill out the form it works but I don't get an email about the contact information in a email. I do see the sucess page when I press the submit button.
