From what I can see, it's unbalanced drama, because you're really the only 1 causing it. Everyone else is calling you out on your actions. You know that 1 episode where family drama is going on and Joey is watching tranquility tapes?Anyways, Lord Lundin, I'm sorry, but I can't see anymore redeemable qualities in your posts. You need to grow up and learn to treat people with respect. I remember when I used to be the exact same way that you are now, and I learned from it, why I do believe I've said things that the mods had to call me out on. And trust me, I can tell you from experience, you'll be in for a life of hell if you don't straiten your act up and learn how to get along with other people. I'm sorry, but as the game is, I don't really see myself buying it. I don't know how it is now, but last time I played it, it appeared to be just another top-down FPS with slightly glitchy sounds and voice acting that could use a tiny bit of work. If you compare it with RTR, RTR had mildly confusing maps, but it had turning, and the game had actual sound that didn't just lower in pitch when it got behind or below you. Not to mention that the speed hack message should probably be changed. My friend tried to play it the other day in his virtual machine, and it gave him a speed hack message when he didn't open cheat engine, and it hurt his ears. All I'm saying is, you are a really great coder, just work on your sound system, definitely change that speed hack message if you can't fix the glitch, try to get some good actors, and work on the movement system, and I'll probably consider purchasing it. Now, on to the actual moderation of the game. I 
 do have to agree with Timberwolf, some of these players are overall jerks nowadays in multiplayer games, and that's mainly because the moderation in these games is at an undesirable level. I do think that while you might not be able to control another person, you can ban them for being that way, and you really should. If players are going to treat their fellow gamers in such a way then maybe they shouldn't be allowed to play that game if they're going to continue to be like that. Now that I'm done talking about that, I would like to point out that you really should think about when making it paid. If you want people to pay for this game, you really should make a demo recording of the game to show off the features, or tell people about them. Being a student in a principals of business class, I could tell you that if you don't advertise features then people are a whole lot less likely to buy it. I do sincerely hope you take my suggestions into consideration wh

So, after I kill captain bat and talk to Aria, I go to the volcano village, right?

Help With Shadow Rine Please

Hello.So I've beaten the game, I've unlocked the extra mode, I've explored all the games in there, and I came across the Coliseum, which is this game where you can pick any character/demon you want to play as and against and fight them. My question is, how do you unlock more characters/demons to play as? Currently, I'm able to play as Brave, Lilia, Elena, Rurai, and Len. I'd love to be able to play as 1 of the demons, I think that would be mildly entertaining. Thank you in advance.

@dark, the main reason why I want to give python a go is because not only can it be used to make games with images which could get sighted people into playing games made by the blind, but it's platform versatility allows you to effectively get more people to play and purchase games that you make. I greatly appreciate everyone's advice and suggestions, however, the methods brought up have slight limitations. Adventure at C: stages are great but you can't make complex puzzles or traps in it. Modding Super Liam is great but you can really only get up to 7 levels in it so you basically have to keep your idea short. Sound RTS is very versatile if you want to make maps with extremely complex buildings and AI but not things like platformers. RTR is 1 of my ultimate favorite first person shooting games with very complex maps and ambiance, not to mention a top-of-the-line movement system, the only draw back I see is that you can really only make maps and no missions, althoug
 h I don't think the game was really designed for that. Keep it up, I'd say it has the potential to become the next GTAV. All the games, ideas, and methods mentioned are all 1s that I like, and I thank everyone for them, but the methods don't expand far enough for the things that I'd like to make. I'd really love to try making games in BGT or Python, the problem I have though is that I'm 1 of those people who can't really read manuals and get the concept of the scripting program or programming language that easily. I have to have 1 on 1 phone or other audio conversations with people, and nobody really has the time to sit down with me and help me learn how to code. That's why I've tried so many times, failed, stopped for a bit and tried again and repeated the whole process again. It's been a problem that I've had for quite some time. That, and schooling every weak. I sort of thought the audio game maker was a cheep but easy way out, but I guess I was wrong about that. I've always wanted to learn python but could never even get the hang of BGT, that's why I haven't really coded a game yet.

Steve, I think we both misunderstood each others posts. It wasn't until I finished my post that I actually went back and read yours again. And for that, I apologize. However, I still want to inform you that although I can't stop people from using destructive criticism, I do try, because I do know that there are some people that will probably be less harsh. I'm not expecting everyone to listen to what I say or to over credit a game, but maybe some people will actually give developers friendly constructive criticism. I really hope you understand the message I'm trying to deliver, cause sometimes I don't even understand myself. @Dark, you basically said what I wass trying to say, accept you were a lot better at it than me, I think I kind of got the wrong message across, I'm not exactly the best at making a point, to be honest. It really does seem like there are more people on here who bash people than the 1s who make friendly suggestions. If there were o
 nly 2 or 3 people who are destructive, I'd be cool with that. But there are like 50 or 60 people that do that. Needless to say, if there are more people who criticize developers than those who are nice, that would tipicly make a developer think, "Maybe I should release this somewhere else besides this or that forum." At post 27, do you really expect Colton to make an extremely good game when he's working on coding games for the first time? As a matter of fact, I seem to remember that at 1 point you started out on sort of a ruff road when you were coding games. So saying that you won't support his games because it doesn't have what you want makes you both selfish and a hypocrite. Where do you think Danny started? Where do you think Mason started? Hell, where do you even think Sam started. Sam made a great game, but there was a point in time where he wasn't as good as a coder as he is now, and I'm sorry but it's the truth. You can't just make a miracle on your first try, you've got to start out small and get larger. But if nobody is there to encourage you, then you will stop caring and people could be missing out on a potentially amazing game because the dev felt that nobody cared for them. In fact, sir, I'm sure with your last post, devs that look at
  these forums decide, "Hmm. People don't seem greatfull, so I'm just not going to make any games because I'll get stabbed in the back for it." Maybe you shouldn't say, "Your game is the best game on the planet," but you should keep waiting and supporting him/her so he/she can make a good game, and you should definitely feel guilty for that post you made just now. You people think that developers owe you something, but they don't. They don't owe you a single thing. Imagine if you said something like this back in 2005, then we might not have had great or any games today, like survive the wild, BK3, yes, even passed ultra power. I have just read the rules that the moderator put up, and judging on them, I have reached this conclusion. I clearly understand that Mason, in terms of his games, has the complete power to determine if clones of his games are prohibited or not, after all, I do believe that is why the world invented copyright back in the 1800s, as I believe it was established. However, I am sure that no developer wishes to have their games and software cloned. Why, given that matter, is there not a rule determining that making any program using any part of other peoples code is against the rules. Also, if such a rule was created for the forum, would people still be allowed to make fan based games of the devs projects? After all, the sighted community used to see an abundant amount of megaman fan based games, such as the 8bit megaman7 and 8. I would also like to clarify that, if a developer wishes to put no clone rules into effect on their game, then why don't they just put that information in 
 the licence agreement? You would save yourself a lot of trouble that way. And now, the elephant in the room. Now, before you guys stroll passed this part of the post, hear me out for what I have to say. I want you all to think about this. Do you guys know why Colton helped make this clone. Because, from his very first game, target, some of you guys, and I'm not pointing fingers, nearly because I don't know anyone to point at for an obvious offender , but some of you people, used destructive criticism against Colton. I can tell that at least 1 person has done this for 2 reasons. 1, because colton verified this himself, and 2, you did the exact same thing to Manu when he released his first game, accept during that time, someone was there to defend Manu because he was a developer who was first starting off developing. With Colton, nobody seemed to care that this was his first project, you show no appreciation for what you're given, you only care about what you don't
  have, and that makes you selfish. So Colton decided that he would develop a clone of UP. Now do not think that I am supportive of direct clones, because I'm not, infact I am full fledged against them. However,he decided this is how he'd try to win your respect. And low and behold, you guys weren't supportive enough to encourage him, or at least to dig himself out of the trap that you guys seemed to have forced him into. It shows that no matter what Colton develops, or modifies, or tries to make, he is constantly criticized by the members of the forum because it doesn't matter what the game has unless it contains things that the blind community wants, if this is not the case by the way please inform me, but that is what it looks like. If this is the case, I can't believe what I'm seeing. What happened to the forum that I used to be fond of, the nice helpful people, the drama free topics, what happened. I'm beginning to see that it's not just t
 he forum, but the whole world that is becoming like this. People only support something if it has what they want, not for the hard work that the dev put into the project, or even having the thought of the dev not making the game because he wants to play it, but because he is attempting to obtain happy customer. Why can't we improve in that way as a whole. Like techmaster20 stated, we need to stand together as a family. A family would help each other out when ever they can, and support each other all the way. And if we can improve in that way, then maybe we can make this a happy place. I kind of said this a lot but I feel as if I can't stress this enough, . I was hoping that you might be able to make your own adventures, like custom levels with the ability to add enemies from the previous game or games. This may not be possible but maybe you could set what characters you can go in as, and even set restrictions to only allow surton characters for a surton level. Just a suggestion, I really hope the custom feature is added but I will be fine if it isn't added, it would just be a thing that will make bk3 twice as fun as it already is, and considering how it already is a lot of fun, that's saying a lot. . Also, and I don't know if it's possible, but maybe you could possibly add custom dialogue sounds depending on what character's speaking, if you don't understand what I mean, take the game under tail as an example. Each charact

Jade, that's not a valid point either. The point is, Brian is basically saying, "If you are not a jaws user, you are forbidden to play these games." This is a monopoly move, and I strongly disagree with this move. I disagree with you as well, because again, that is not a valid point. This shows clearly that this company is a money hog, and only cares about earning over $1000 from people who only want to play games. They don't even have a trial of that program.

I'd probably say, I would like a game, with a storyline, and you can take several vehicles, and each boss fights different depending on what you're fighting him in. Example, the first boss could be a guy with a 22 rifle but if fighting him in a armored truck, he could be in a tank with armor piercing shells, and if you're in a helicopter, he could be in a jet fighter with missiles. There can be a multi-player mode where you play in story mode with multiple friends, and the bosses are optimized to fit that mode. One friend could distract the enemy while you shoot it down. The bosses might fight a little differently, they might have a friend fight your guy while you're taking down the boss.

I'm probably gunna need help with this a little bit, cause teh rank system sounds extremely confusing to me. Honestly, the reason why I played BK1 instead of cave of marvel was because you had to manage 3 characters in the game instead of 1, and it always got confusing which weapons to give to character, and stradegize so the fight would be more convenient so I didn't lose. By the sound of it, entombed 2 will be simular, and I'm not very good at stratigy, to be honest.

As for Dingo's post on the fairy warrior, on the contrary, you could easily just give a fairy the sword with a grow spell, and she'll be able to use it, at least in entombed 1. And Dark, I love the idea of the enchantment shop. Oh yeah, and about the cutting floors thing, the only reason why I'd do that, every time I'd explore, I'd have to tread all that way to the stares, but now I don't have to worry about that now, cause when I'm done exploring, I can always just get out of the room I'm in and find my way to the stairs cause they're in a convenient location that I can find easily. I think that pretty much makes the nirest explored space key and the track stairs feature useliss sence by the sound of it it should be pretty easy to navigate the dungeon. Also, when will there be a new update with the combat features?

I've got another question, actually a few more. I listened to an LP of entombed, covering all the floors. And 1 thing I didn't like was that you didn't encounter all varieties of enemies, ex, Trolls, lizards or what ever they were called, humans, etc.I also think that in the game, when you get to the last flore, you can't go back to the shop or other floors. The reason why I say this is because, I'm used to games now a days where you can't go back to other levels or shops when you reach the final level, it also provides a little bit of chalange, meaning you have to fuy everything you need before going to the last floor. This is of course, just a suggestion. And if you need bata testing help, I'm always available unless I have school or something, but yeah. If you need help, just let me know.

When you create new monsters, how do we specify the floors they'll be on, for example, you encounter orks on the 3rd floor, how do we do that, will that be part of the txt files, or will we have to script them into the dungeon? I like the new layout. It took some getting used to, but I can get around rooms quite nicely. 1 question, though. Will there be a room linking system, like chris mentioned? It would be cool to have linking rooms, instead of just 1 room by itself. It would also be cool to have some rooms that are huge, and some that contain a whole stampeed of enemies when you enter the room, like 5 or 6, that you have to fight off in order to get past. This game is really awesome and I look forward to the final product when it comes out!

Lol, that last post was funny. Anyways, I think the monsters you make should have different drop sounds. For example, an earth elimental and a skeleton have 2 different drop dead noises, an earth elimental crumbled, wile a regular enemy would fall to the ground. I think you should be able to give different enemies different fall noises. If you understand what I'm talking about.

About a combat system, I would sudgest a side scroling combat system like BK1, if, however, magic was never in there, cause how would you select a spell if the combat was side scroling, that couldn't be possible, pluss niether would the row thing in the game, so I guess side scroling is out of the question. And, if the passage is circular, people who just cut to the next flore, like myself, instead of exploring, would just go left the whole time, skipping flores. In entombed, the second I found a stairwell, I was like, "Forget exploration, I'm taking this stairwell." How would this circular thing work out for people like me who just like cutting to stairwells when ever he or she finds it?

Yes, about the obsurve thing, I heard you can only learn 3 techneeks. I also heard that the bigger you are, the more damage breathe fire could be, which sort of explains why the drake killed my party in 1 hit, 29 whopping damage, [[wow]]. Next time, if I play that game again, I'll have a wanderer mage, that'll make the whole fight easier. Hey Jason, do you think sometime you could make a recording showing how the game's gunna work? Another resting mode could be that of erric the clerric, or paliden, or BK1, you get the point. Of course, there are no beds in a dundgen, however, grass or sand on the dundgen flore could pass as a bed. Ah yes, resting on a pile of trass, that's what people could use as beds! Lol! Nah but really, what do you think about that resting methed. I know that wounds kind of crazy, but I have to admit, so am I. Lol.

Brave of cloudia, cave of marvel, and other stuff I can't find

Hi all.Well, I went to who evers sight I need to go to, but, I couldn't find cave of marvel or brave of cloudia. Can someone point me out to the place I need to go to find it? Also, I was searching for the chaos versions of BK2 and 3, but I couldn't find it on mm, nyanchan, or moricuma's sight. Someone told me about this wiki he used to get it, but I have absolutely no idea about that. I found a wiki, but it didn't look like the chaos versions were on there either. Can someone also point me to a place where I can find thows too? Any help would be aprishiated. Thanks in advance.

Hey dark. What would you say to the way of resting from shades of doom? Maybe the characters can slowly heal over time as they progress through the dundgin. Then it would eliminate the resting feature completely, and you could just automaticly heal as you're going through. I must say though, to back up resting in entombed 1, it didn't work on mangled or chattered body parts, so resting wouldn't be totaly game breaking. It also didn't get rid of zomby rot, the only effect it got rid of was poison. Only if resting healed you completely and got rid of effects and healed mangled and shattered parts, would it then be considered game breaking. It would make it a whole lot easier though.

1 thing that I don't like though is how I won't be able to play on my mac, considering how my mac can only go up to lion, not all the way to Yosemite. And I wouldn't be able to play with my IPhone because as it stands, I've got an IPhone 4 that can only go up to IOS 7. But, I do have a good windows8.1 PC, so I should be good to go. Anyways, I used to dream of a game like this, I always had dreams about adding a car monster to the game, haha, that would be hilarious. Or, how about if I create a Minny dragon enemy, [[wow]], there could be so many possibilities for this game, I don't even have any idea where I'd start. I'll be sure to buy this game when it comes out, providing I have enough money when it does come out. Keep up the awesome work.

Thanks, devin, yeah I think it's cool that you can just get free potions like that, that was how I always got healing items back when BK3 wasn't out, just went to that stage, at least intil stage 20, and got those free healing items. That was because I always loved conservation of gold, cause you know, fold is a very important item, I always regretted running out of gold, cause I couldn't buy stuff. Anyways, I'll get back to the subject. Thank you for telling me about the prison key thing. @KG4RDF, thank you for that thread, that was very useful. And the cheats, mwahaha lol, yes I love those cheats. I looked at those too. Anywaysm thanks for the advice, guys.

Hi all!So, I was playing BK2, on a save I beat the game on, and a friend reminded me about this weapon, it's a card that summins a slime. You also get an abiciss with it. I know this weapon is in stage 6-3, but I don't remember for the life of me how to get it to show up. Can someone remind me how to make it show up, or give me a topic where I can find it?

Bugs in windows 8 Preventing me from playing BK1

Hi.So, I tried to play BK1, but a couple bugs in windows prevent me from doing so.1. When I try typing in the box to type my playername, it types in a box labled something like half alfa numaric. 2. When I finaly could type in the box, I hit the tab key, and nothing happened.What can I do about these bugs?

Hi.So, I checked out PG13 for an SOD v2 LP, but they only did a v12LP. So, can anyone, anyone at all, do an LP of the new version? I can't aford it, so that's why, so I can hear all the new sounds for enemies and stuff till I can get the money to buying SOD.

Everyone! Lets make this right. Arabic two thousand, I don't think, "Motherfucker," Was the best choice of words. Maybe you could have said something nicer, or nothing at all. Nocturnus, 100% agreed. Now, I've got something to say. My apinnian about Mason's coding abilities! Astonishing! I was on Skype with Mason, and on server updates, he was so incredibly fast, it took him 5 minutes to update the server, as for the average coder, it would take from 30 minutes to an hour. I've seen how fast updates went too, and I'm impressed with the speed at which he updated the actual game too, about 5 to 10 minutes. I must say guys, he's a great dev. So what does it matter if the game is free or paid? Mason is free to his own choice, and that choice is to charge $15 for his game. Can't we all except this? And besides! If you don't like that, there are still other great games out there. Ultrapower isn't the only good game. There are thousa
 nds of games out there, you don't have to play ultrapower. Can we all deal with his choice?

Yes, but the level isn't the problem. It's the speed hacking. And there's no way Mason can edit the game to where speed hacks do nothing, unless he used the programming language that Yukio used for bk1, and that's in Japanese.

problem with PG13 lets plays

Hello all.There is a problem with the PG13 lets plays. For some reason, some of them cut off right in the middle. For example, I was watching the super liam LP, and they did the max pain mod after  the main game, and it stopped right in the middle of the game, the recording did. What happened and is there any way to fix it?
