hello! I've plaied it, several times actually, and it still remains one of my favourites.It is possible to save the Kingdom and live happily, sure, it just requires a good amount of stats and there's not a single class that can manage it. I mean, so far, I should have made it with a knight, a wizard, a monk (that was probably my favourite) an assassin, not to mention multiclassing, and in the second book you even get to get some prestige classes! And those are awesome.If you Google for The Lost Heir walkthrough, on the CoG forum there are actually several walkthroughs that will guide you through some class combinations, pointing out some choices to get maximum stats, etc, if you don't mind spoilers at least. Otherwise, my suggestion is to just play, discover everything through trial and error, and make your game enjoyable for the story and not only for the victory! You eventually will win it

solved, it works now.It required the following:a lot of guessinga lot of crossing my fingers, the neighbour's fingers, the fingers of all the human people in a 30 meters rangea good dose of, I think, luckthen cygwin with the gcc and make dependenciesa curse or twelve when I realized I installed the 32 bit on a 64 bit pc and had to reinstall...But it works, compiled and running in locale.

empiremud on windows?

so, I wanted to play a bit with empiremud in locale, just to fool around on my own with buildings and all when I'm not online. And I even got a copy of the latest empiremud, isn't it great?No, it isn't, cause it is an unix thing it seems, and I'm on Windows. Plus it's to be compiled, and since my knowledge of programming limits itself to "h what a nice bunch of letters and codes!" I wouldn't even know, more or less, where to start from...Is my dream of getting myself a windowsable copy of empiremud just a hopeless dream, to be trashed with my being a multimillionaire dream, or is there a solution? What am I to do?

I cameI downloadedI tested, sort of!That is a great one, original in its way, gives that immersive sense of getting to beat up bad guys pretty badly! That could definitely become a great game...  Maybe, with a high number of enemies, taking into account what everyone does and wants to do and will do is not that easy, especially if someone hasn't a real spatial representation of the map in his/her head. But a turnbased fight that not only includes special abilities, but objects thrown around and/or used as cover? Brilliant.I can see this expanded in various themes, launching from the superheroes one (even you might probably want to set iron man as a man, I bet Tony would get a bit upset as discovering HER pronouns were being used with her ahem, him), to a gladiator arena with a badass guy in the center dealing with all sorts of enemies romans want to throw at him, to a knight, a kung-fu master, groups of stealthy ninjas, and imagination is probably your limit.

I just remembered a thing, I have a mac, sitting there, doing nothing!Ok no I use it for work and study... Anyways, the thing is, that for now the only thing I manage to do on Windows and not on the mac is, mudding... Yeah, mushclient is wonderful, awesome, but what about an accessible client for the mac? I think I have atlantis, and mudlet, but then again, I can't really understand how to make them woork smoothly because, for example, I can't explore the output screen like I do with mushclient and the virtual cursor of jaws.Suggestions?Ideas?Advices?

It is that time of the day again, when I have a question and I am too sleepy to browse through the web for someone who has asked it already cause, well, I'm pretty sure someone already did.Sooo, a hero's call. I have it, I love it, but I would need to play it without having to turn off jaws cause turning it on and off is bad for windowswitching and multitasking. It so happens that for some odd reason, jaws won't let me use arrows while playing, so that I need to insert+3 before pressing arrows to move through menus cause jaws, idk, intercepts it? So I ask is there a way to tell this lovely jaws 12 hey, stop interfering with arrows?

ehe at the moment I'm trying to download swamp, but somehow, the download pauses more or less at 60 percent, and when I restart at the end I just get a damaged folder that can't be extracted...

GreetingsHere I am with my stupid question of the day, and it's even likely it has been asked countless times already but! I am running on a Windows 7 with jaws 12 and yes, I know, that's antiquate. But anyways, of course, the home and end Keys that would increase or decrease speed on eurofly are not working unless I insert+3 to send the command right to the application. Now, I found a jaws thing on the download center, and it says to place it in the folder where I have my jaws user settings, but I have absolutely no idea about where it is so, help?

Greetings!Since I love to optimize, I will ask two things in the same post, hoping it's not too confusing... I have been playing a bit of Towers of war, recently, and well I like that sort of games AAKA tower defense games... So, considering I am on Windows, and have an iphone too, is there anything else of that genre that I could play on my pc, or on my phone?The second thing addresses the second part of the title of the post, lately I am in the mood of leading fleets of whatever type of vessel into conquest, growing it larger and larger and getting richer and richer and yes, all of this was born by playing an insane amount of echo quadrant. So I ask again, is there anything that would address my power hunger on that Sector as well?Thank you all in advance!
