Hey Folks,I am the developer, Alister. I just wanted to let you know that if you have ideas to improve the game's accessibility, I am always open ears. Please feel free to post ideas here, or message me in game.Combat won't be changing in any substantial ways -- maybe if it were 15 years ago and I was first designing the combat system, I could build it to be a little slower-paced, but I don't think "big" changes to the dynamics would work any more. But if there are good ideas for other features that can be tacked on, I am always willing to consider them. For example, someone mentioned creating a soundpack for Mushclient. If someone were to identify the sounds needed, and put together the audio files, I would certainly be willing to create, maintain, and improve a package like that.

Dark, I like the idea of having a config option that will give you notifications as your opponent's energy fills (e.g., 20% 50%, 80%). I don't know that it would be easy to broadcast when an enemy is about to attack, due to how the scripting works, and the fact that different enemies attack at different times.I assume using the display command to print your target's energy is too spammy?

Frastlin, would you be willing to release the soundpack? No need to do work on it if you don't intend on playing; I could make sure it is usable for other players.Lairs have gone through some substantial changes since you last played, I suspect. But yes, being able to solo lairs is pretty much endgame. Right now I think I need to focus on creating more content that is playable solo, before you start doing lairs or dungeons, but after you've left the town (i.e., the new adventure system). Once there are a few more of those done, my attention is going to focus on expanding the endgame dungeons and lair content.

Hi JaceK,Ranged weapons are something I have thought of in the past, and have some design notes on them. Possibly, now that summoned minions and group-based combat is playing more of a role than it did 5 years ago, there might be a place for bows: weapons you can attack with, only if you are not the one being targetted. It is something that I will (continue to) keep in mind.Regarding throw, I'm not sure why it's not working for you. It's a skill that is used quite regularly. Next time you are online, just ask someone to come look at your equipment and skills and say what's wrong. It's probably just some minor thing, like your weapon is sheathed rather than wielded, or you have the wrong type of axe.Also, the combat is not *entirely* melee. There is a fairly extensive magic system.

One of the players told me they had a soundpack that was almost usable and ready for distribution. I'm just waiting for them to get back to me. I had planned on making one myself, but if there's something already available that would be better.
