As for files, just use s3.Heroku obviously is free, and s3 gives you 5 GB per month for your first year, as well as 2,000 Put, Copy, Post or List Requests of S3. It also gives you 2 get requests.Currently I'm doing it this way:I put my app on heroku and use s3 for file storage. Keep in mind if you have a route that download stuff, heroku has a 30 second timeout limit.So if your app downloads stuff, you need to do a bit more work to actually get it working as you'd expect with using celery and redis.I'm just putting it for you here since I've struggled with this myself for the last few days and I managed to get around that timeout limit. Because trust me, it might happen.That depends on the airport you're flying from and the airport you're flying to.Things might go wrong like your assistant not coming back to get you at the time of boarding.Things you need to prepare includeyour phone, you'll need that more than you think you do. You need apps like be my eyes to get you out of tricky situations like this one.Let me give you this scenario:You come to the airport, and go to the checking counter, in my case, there is a checking counter for special needs.You give them your ID or your passport, and your booking number as well, and make sure to ask them to get someone to assist you.They will get someone to assist you and get you to the gate. Most likely, you'll get to the gate when there is a lot of time left until boarding. btw, usually boarding opens 45 minutes before the flight, all of this info is found on your boarding pass.When you get to the gate, since there is a long time left until boarding, your assistant will probably let you know that they'll have to go and come back to you at the time of boarding.In some airports, there is an area for special needs where your assistant will drop you there and come back to get you later, if not, he'll just drop you at the normal waiting area just like any body else.Before they leave, make sure to get all your documents back. Re: new visa, new card number Yeah, if apple pay is available in your country, you can add it to apple pay by scanning it.Scanning it gives you the card number, and even the expiration date but I'm not 100% sure about that, but I think you still have to fill in the CVV number on your own though.So basically you can get most of the card info by just scanning it like you're adding it to apple pay, but still, it doesn't give you the CVV number.I don't recommend scanning it or taking a picture of it and sending it to any other service like seeing AI, envision AI, or be my eyes or whatever since that's sensitive info.Maybe make a video call with someone you trust and let them read the card info for you that way? Lots of the new stuff they added don't include English Audio Description.When I say new stuff I'm talking about the actually new released series, new seasons of series or even stuff Netflix have recently put on their platform even if the series isn't new.I will refer to Audio Description as AD in this post just so I don't have to say the word over and over and over again.The new stuff they add may or may not include AD for the language of the main production though.What I'm talking about here is the English AD though, even if the series is dubbed in English, most of the time it doesn't have an English AD.I know we're missing out on a lot. Since I watched La Casa de Papel and elite, and both of them are Spanish shows that have English AD and they were really good. Urgent: Help with blackboard needed Hi,Today our professor decided to give us a simple exam just to test things out. I encountered a problem with the text editor in blackboard though. I couldn't access the area where I can type the text.When I open the application for editing, and I mean the one in the actual webpage, I can choose functions and stuff, I tried to press escape then turn on nvda's brows mode but still I wasn't able to move around the text editing area.I then typed my answer in a word document and started messing around until ctrl+v finally worked and the text got pasted into the edit field, the only way I knew it's there is when I asked my sister if she can see the text I pasted and she can see it. Even though the text is there, still nvda doesn't seem to be able to interact with it in any way.I remember it was working fine the last semester and I was able to edit text just fine. But I confess there maybe something I was doing at that time to make it work, something that I have forgotten about now.So is there any way for me to fix this? Although I think you should just get a package that provides you with data, on net calls and off net calls. That depends on how much you use them though.That's how my carrier works. You should visit your carriour website and see the packages they have and then decide for yourself.One more thing, just because with postpaid you can make calls and use internet and pay for it later, that doesn't mean it's unlimited. Well, personally I prefer a sighted person.It's for exactly what post 9 has said, specifically the part that says "most of the blind girls I have met seem to have another problem apart from blindness.".Now that's in my own experience of course, from what I noticed from my interaction with blind girls, they don't actually take care of their appearance much.Also the fact that they can see is a good thing, but of course I wouldn't go for a sighted person just for their sight alone.I have a sighted friend and I am actually fine with questions like how you do x and y, I can answer them as many times as necessary, I don't know, I enjoy that.I enjoy explaining to sighted people that we blind people can do really just about anything, that we are self dependent. I do it not because I want to be a hero in their eyes but because it's the truth at least in my case.Like I said I really enjoy answering questions like that. Hell, my sighted friend even tried to watch a netflix series audio described once and she actually said that's a different experience.I don't know why people are so off when it comes to questions from sighted people asking blind people how they do x and y, most likely this person have never seen a blind person in their entire life.Actually if you think about it, some of their questions are logical, questions like:How do you use a phone?I mean you have to look at it from their perspective to see where I am going with this. A sighted person who sees a blind person for the first time in their life doesn't know anything about blind people, and he or she doesn't know about voice over or talk back or whatever really.I can't tell you how many times I have been asked that question, or how many times I've been ask how do I type on a keyboard.I see no problem with telling them that I memorized the keyboard keys, and I use a software to read the screen for me.Back to the topic at hand. I think it is really hard for me to be with a blind partner for reasons I can't tell, and if I try to explain half of it you wouldn't understand, and probably you'd think that I am attacking blind girls in general even though I am not. From reading your message, I think you know that.The thing is, if you are tired from contacting them for a refund for your own money because you bot a not so accessible app then I guess that's your fault.Second thing: Implementing accessibility is really not as easy as you described it.That depends on the app you're making actually.Making a chatting app accessible is not as making an app like shortcuts accessible for example.Also in some games, it's not just about putting labels for buttons and stuff, it's about finding an alternative way for you as a screen reader user to do things.Let me give you an example:In ios if you wanted to move an app, you just swipe down to edit mode, then to drag *, then you move to where you want to move that app and you swipe up to drop * before *, or drop * after *.That's an alternative for what sighted people do, since they just drag and drop, but apple has found an easy way for us to do exactly the same.Overall, I agree with you. When I click a link in a page, sometimes I have to alt+tab away from the chrome window and alt+tab to it again to get the page to update with the page of the new link I just clicked on.I am not sure how to fix this.When I click a link and don't alt+tab away, it would seem that I never did, the page title stays the same and also the page content.However, when I alt+tab away from chrome and alt+tab to it again it updates the window with the new page. Re: Choice of country for life I agree with the last few posts.Even if you wanted to move to an other country, you need to have a reason for that move.Do you want to go for studying there?Or do you want to work there?Or you are just going there as a tourist.The last one is the easiest to get though.Some countries will give you a tourist visa for 15 days, some for 21 days, some for 30, 60 or 90 days.In the end, there will come the time that you need to pack up and leave, unless, you are studying or working there of course, in that case it will be different.Telling the embassy of x country that you want to move there because you are blind, and blind people are treated better in that country etc etc etc, isn't a good reason in their point of view.Lets say you want to work in an other country, in that case, the company from that country need to recruit you, you can't just come in and ask for a work visa by yourself and boom.Now of course, you can apply for jobs in companies outside your country online, but I am talking about is having a valid working visa that allows you to enter such countries.What I said excludes things like the GCC for example, or the EU countries.Although I don't have full knowledge about the EU, I will give you an example about the GCC:In the GCC, if your country is a member of the GCC, you can move to countries inside the GCC without needing a visa, without needing a passport even.You can stay as long as you want, I am sure this applies for EU as well, but I am not sure what countries are included, or if each group of countries work together in someway.I am sure some of you know about this, but I just wanted to clear it, maybe this helps the op in some way. The only option I can think of is 1password.It came to my mind when you stated that you want it to be able to have password protection.1password is the app I think has what you want.It can save passwords for you.You can also save notes there, although I don't think you can do advanced text editing on it, just a normal text note.On the password protection level, you can create a vault for your notes and make the hole vault password protected.Although 1password is mainly for more complicated stuff, like saving login passwords and passwords for apps, I think it can work for your needs.It can also sync in the cloud, using dropbox for example, and the app is on windows, ios and android as well.I don't use it for notes though to be honest, since it's not why I have it in my devices.In theory it should work like I said, but you should know it is not designed for such purpose.
