I was playing against him in arcade mode a few nights ago, granted I was a little buzzed from alcohol, but my impressions were that he was a hard hitting character with lots of chaining capability, but once you locked him into your own combo he falls apart pretty quickly. Hey guys, Im pretty late to this game, I just started this morning even though I've had the game set up for a while. I'm trying to get to the first boss, I've already got lillia's jumping ability, and the key that was in the crate just north of that demon thing. I just can't find the second locked door. the board idea is good in theory, but I'm sure it won't stop the trade chatter. People will assume not everybody is updating their board and will ask anyway, or they'll feel that people aren't looking at their board and they'll ask and what not. Honestly I don't think trade chatter takes up too much of the chat logs, if you  don't really like it you can ask them to go to another channel to discuss it, or you can move yourself to another channel or turn your radio off. To switch from normal to HC you have to be level 150, to switch from hc back to normal you have to be level 80. Once you switch to hc and then back to normal it is called a cycle and you are rewarded with a title. I don't think there's been an idea that's really solved all of the issues so far. I like the split, though I think it should be made  down to level 20. People who are at level 20 already have a good idea of the game and know how to loot and do missions. We shouldn't have any unwanted truck sitters with the kick command so that's good. I think whatever the min level to get to sub 2 is should be the level split. So far the trade between players has been mutual, I haven't seen much random giving or too much begging. It's more like I'll trade you an AK for some fuel, or I'll trade my flamethrower for a marlin and a long bow or something. It's rarely just handing things out unless it's between good friends. There is nothing being taken from new players. Nothing about their playing styles has been forcefully altered since this release. Truly, the trade system has given them another goal to aim for. I honestly don't know of any new players who don't have the ability to continue leveling as of right now. Trading isn't a required part of the game. We have played swamp without it since it's conception that dark October night, and it is fully possible to play without it if there are those who can not reach the level requirement. It is like gaining skill points. would you rather have all the points you would ever want be given to you? Or would you rather have earned every single one of them. It is a privlige to be able to trade at level 80. You're still missing the point. This is just an addition to resets and what not. It doesn't have to do anything with resets, it basicly gives you free skil points in any skill or skills of your choice, however, you have to earn them by using the skill in question. mehgcap, the current system of skill placement will stay the same, these temp flags willl be a new addition however, and will allow you to gain skill in one or more skills as long as you use them provided that they do not already have skill points placed in them.Basicly this new system will allow you to place skill points in things like armor speed sneaking allusive, and allow you to use multiple weapons rather than just a select one. You could choose one day to use a browning, or the next day to use the glock, or maybe the machete and scar H or something, the point is, that you'll bee able to build your abilities within a day or so without having to reset your skill points. You'd just have to spend some time using the weapon of your choice. If you want to be able to use a weapon reliably then you can still place points in it, but you won't be able to gain any temp points in it unless you reset and remove the points from that skill and then flag it for temp po
 ints.I also came up with another idea for placing a cap on how many flags you can use, have it be based on your ranks, so without any title you only get one temp flag, for private you get 2, specialist 3, and so on so forth. I like this gradually increasing of skills over time. Here's what I prepose though.We have skills that we can flag to have temp points. These skills will not have the ability to have points placed in them. However, they will increase with efectiveness as you use them. You can flag as many skills as you want (more on this later), , however with every flagged skill the speed at which these skills will lose their points is increased. So let's say bob flags his axe for temp points. He manages to get his axe skill all the way up to 50. Now he finds a short bow, w, so he stops using his axe for an hour or so, and his temp points in the axe drop from 50 to 40. Now he decides that he wants to go back to his axe, and he gets his points back up to 50, and decides he's going to flag both his axe and his short bow to use temp points. Now, he gets his short bow up to 50, and maintains his axe's temp points at 50. Now both the axe and the short bow are at 50 temp p
 oints. He now finds a long bow, and after an hour of nonuse his shortbow and axe will have dropped to 35. In this example bob's points decrease as he neglects his skill, and this decrease is increased with the more skills that he flags. Now you may be saying, what's stopping a level 1 from flagging every skill they have with this. Here's a solution for that, have a temp flag be provided for every 10, or maybe 25 levels. I don't like the donating to safezones and them keeping stock of inventory. The number of players it would need to support is just way too varient. Not to mention the rep reward for donating them would have to be pretty high for people to actually consider doing it. I like the trade shop system the most so far. To recap, trade shop is having a system in place where you post an item, say a machete, for whatever amount you want so let's say 10k rep, someone is like I need a machete, they see the machete for 10k rep, and they're either like that's too expensive and moves on to the next listing, or they're like thats a good price I'll buy it. the rep gets transfered to you and the machete is given to the customer.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=170900#p170900

I don't think the idea was to remove safezone stores completely. I think it was aimed more towards the findable weapons only. So if I found an AK47, but I don't use AK47s, but I know bob does, and bob has a flamethrower that I want, I can be like hey bob, I have an AK47, do you want to trade your flamethrower for it? Then bob would be like, yes sneak, I sure would. Trade trade exchange exchange, blam, done, I got a flamethrower he has an AK47. That sort of trading. My idea as a store type deal was you have a shop or a merchant's cart somewhere on each main map, so on map 1 maybe the boarded up building east of kaimart not the fort. I find let's say a machete, but I don't want the machete. I go to this store, and it asks, do you want to buy? or sell? You select sell, it pulls up your inventory menu, you select the item you want to sell, and then it says, how much reputation do you want to ask for this item. then you type in the amount, and it's posted.
  Then bob can go into that same shop and say I want to buy something, then it's like do you want to view armor? weapons? accessories, or misc?  you select the one you want, and it pulls up a list containing all the items that are available from other players. So let's say bob sees the machete that I put up for 1 rep. Bob is like, I could use a machete, and so he buys it. I like the trading idea, though perhaps instead of  level option we make it a special item, in order to trade with someone you have to have maybe a bardering bag or something that can only be found on sub maps, or something along those lines. , once both participents have the bardering bag, then they can begin to trade. I may just be completely over thinking this though. I don't think you should be able to trade right away after dying. Another idea though that I can come up with, is you can find special places in the map, maybe NPC run forts or something, but they do merchant work, so you give them the item you want to sell and then a minimum price you're willing to sell it for, and then someone else comes along and they're like ooh a machete I'll buy it, how much is it, 50k rep? ok. Of course some of that rep is given to the merchants as commission, so the customer pays 50k, but the seller gets 40k. If a trading system does get put in place, I think it wo

I think perhaps the math is wrong on the swamp armor calculator. I put in medium armor for head, chest, legs and feet, low for waist and nothing for shoulders, and 50 in the medium armor catagories for points. nothing in low. It says my protection is 48 to 51, but in the game I get between 59 and 60 percent.Ok, sorry just checked it again, apparently I had a space before my foot armor. welshweyr, aprone was going to put armor in the defender missions, that's why the key command for armor was put in but unfortunately I think it slipped his mind lol. The inflatable sheep is suppose to be found on all maps but I haven't heard of anybody finding one, so perhaps there is something missing in the code for those. Composite armor is still lootable as I just found one about 20 minutes ago. Eclipse, when you try logging into the server before updating it will say you are not running the same version as the server. Please update. That's the time to get super excited lol. LOL dark, the melee weapons in this game are horribly underpowered. When I played i wwent with researcher, found a q-lock case and got a needler gun, those are pretty sick, also was able to solo pirate bases all on my lonesome. I got this disrupter gun that was doing like 140 to 180 damage. I haven't played in a while, I sort of gave up after the admins decided to let this guy go around on my planet and atomic bomb it estroying pretty much everybody's facilities lol. I retaliated and crashed my ship into the douchebag's place. My ship was so awesome though sigh. It was a destroyer class with 3 turbo grav engines a few military reactors and this sweet firestrike missile launcher that fired an indeffinate amount of missiles. also had a chain gun and a really high end laser not to mention the ship's special beam cannon thing that took like an rl hour to charge up lol. , t

On my first play through I talked to everybody i went the hole game without running into wild pokemon. I then restarted after being told that talking to  the person all the way south in pallet town is what causes you not to run into wild pokemon I can't remember what she says but yeah, you should start there, as I started a second game and didn't talk to that person and I'm running into them left and right. on the first game I sat there for 10 minutes or so running back and forth across the tall  grass and found nothing. I'm having the same problem haramer. I think the game is trying to overwrite the existing file while the game is using it and so it currupts the file and will not load it. I'm going to try deleting the save files in my folder and then resaving the game without opening it and see if it will even let me delete the files. To hire creww below the names of the crew, I.E.crew officer space marine pirate battle druidthere are plus and minus signs, if you have punctuation turned off they'll read as silence. anyway you just arrow over to the associated plus or minus sign and route your mouse to it and click how ever many times you want to buy them. As far as the skills and what not go you get those only when you gain rank, that is if you start out as a nobody like I did and get to lt commander you should have received the ability to pick out 3 different skillls, I also think you get them when you get a metal. so if you get the silver metal, wwhich is obtained by fighting a larger ship than your own and winning then you'll get an extra ability. I think the silver star is the only metal available in this game, maybe more will be added but who knows. To dark, there's actually a ship that's specificly designed I think for boarding ships, it's the second destroyer I 
 can't remember what it's called, but it comes with a full complament of battle droids lol, I think the price is 400k, but I can't remember. I went with the patton destroyer, way more expensive, but totally worth it. A tip when buying new ships though, you'll want to save up more money than the ship cost enough to purchase the upgrades along with the ship that you want. I've noticed that the coordinates for the pokemon center in the second city are not correct, might want to check those again, also I'm not able to find the gym at 24 8 because I can't get to y of 8. maybe I'm missing a really tight passage way or something. I think the scattergun may only work when it's one turn away though I could be wrong. Also, I think it's an issue with the game not streaming or retrieving the file correctly because when I saved my progress, then got into a fight litterally right after saving the same issue happened again. I closed out of the game, loaded the save progress up then proceeded in the same fight and on with out any issues. It was the same type of ship as well. I know the developer doesn't monitor this thread, so how exactly do I bug these things? Yes, there is a folder called music in the sounds folder. You can just replace those files with songs of your choice. Be sure to name them exacly how they are in the folder. also the file types have to match. Have you guys had any problems with Jpegs not being found? I made it to 1st lt, and I have a nice corvette decked out with my prefered weapons, so I decided to go and try my hand at beating some kitties into submission. hey hey, I've purchased the game and I'm working towards getting my next ship. I chose bounty hunter as my profession however, I'm having trouble at the navigation screen I don't see the mission accept buttons or any way to actually accept a mission or bounty. I just see my home system and planets and the wormhole gat and the news at the top. Nothing is at the bottom except for my credit balance. Assaultfreak, the difference between the beta and the normal game is that the beta has a new character and a new map. You can not play online on the beta, and any achievements or badges you collect with it don't save over to the main copy. Yeah, when I first checked this character out he had some moves still missing from his move list, but it was still pretty neat the way his music actually matched the music of his stage. I think they said he'll be released for dlc at the beginning of march. If you're talking about exploring it in offline that's fine,, but you'll need to make two separate maps. If the client detects that there's any tampering with the map it'll boot you off the game which is not fun in the slightest. You could probably start by changing those 6's to 1, I'm pretty sure those are what defines the values of the tiles. 6 I think is the tile value for it to be a shoot out zone. I'm not entirely sure though. I baught this thing last night, sounded pretty cool, and I got through the tutorial pretty quickly. Some of it takes a quick mind to understand, like when you first are meleeing the guys I wasn't sure what to do but I eventually figured out that you had to melee all the way through. I really like the cut scenes. I can understand a little bit of spanish and  pablo makes me laugh with the shit he says lol. Anyway, I wouldn't recommend buying this game unless you have 10 dollars to spair and don't have anything else you want to try out. I really don't think there's much wrong with the current skill system. However, I do like the bit about being able to have  floating points and hard points. For example, you have 100 levels, you get 99 skill points, 88 of those are permanently set, so once those are set you can not move them without a reset, the left over 11 points are available to be placed where ever you might want to place them, only limited by having to be in the safe zone to re-assign them. The weapon configuration before heading out of the safezone seems like a waste of time really as people only ever use their primary weapon a vulkin maybe a melee weapon and their field kit. In the end I feel that it would just cause people to become fustrated with the whole system.
