Re: Magistream, a casual idle clicker pet game Yes, still playing, and right now the halloween event is going on so you can get special pets, though I haven't been so lucky because all the eggs are simply labeled "egg" to a screenreader while sighted people can see that most of them look slightly different and can guess which ones are halloween pets by the look of the eggs.the stream is on their homepage and you take eggs from there, though there are also shops and you can breed as well to get different results. and several pets can only be obtained that way.The stream is not like a livestream or anything, just a line of eggs on the homepage. As far as I know they aren't used for any other purpose and aren't obtainable any other way, but unlike a lot of currencies in games, it is one to one and 1 dollar gets you one shard and most donation creatures are 5 or lower. Re: Magistream, a casual idle clicker pet game okay, I don't know everything yet either and they don't have the accessible map up yet, so quests aren't a thing for blind players yet.here's a few tips to start you off.1. get eggs from the stream. once you have them, they will start growing on their own. It isn't usually too long for their growth even on their own.2. when you have creatures, go to "the keep" which will have your creatures, arranged by default by creature number. (for example, an Ibex is #18 so it would come after your Koi (#1) and before your celestial butterflies (somewhere in the 200s)3. there are a number of options, but if you want them to grow from your clicks, go to the graphics and hit enter for us screenreader users. You can also choose to do other things such as the followinga. freeze: this stops a creature from growing.b. name: give your creature a name. This is free the first time but costs gold at other times.release: get rid of a creature.breed: this only appears in full-grown creatures, and only some of them. Most donation, and many holiday and shop creatures cannot breed.3. if you click on your creature's name link, you will go to the creature's individual page. in this, you can see a general blurb about the species, and also the bit on what stage it is on (egg, hatchling, adult) you will not know the sex until it is a hatchling. You also will have a link to the species bestiary page where you can read the full bit on it and even see how they breed. For example, you would see on the Ibex page that they can breed with Manticores to make Chimeras. 4. There are shops to buy creatures but I think we have limited access to only a couple depending on something I don't rmeember, I have access to the donation shop, inn, and Trading post but I don't know about the rest of you.5. the best way to get gold is to click other people's creatures. This helps them grow. The easiest way I have found for us is to go on a forum thread and click someone's creature link on their posts. and then click all their stuff on their creature page (you want to just move from graphic to graphic for their creatures and click. You get stuff for people clicking on your stuff too. A good way to do this on site is to use the inbed multiple feature on the keep page, and copy the bb code Urls into your signature, which you manage by going to the user control panel and doing I believe board options or perhaps profile. That's about all I know for now, but keep on Rose's butt so we can get a good map and start questing as some creatures can only be gotten by quests, such as the centuar. Magistream, a casual idle clicker pet game Hello all,found a little gem on the internet. Actually found it over 4 years ago but didn't stick with it. This for the most part isn't a game that is going to occupy a lot of your time, but it will give you something to do and something to do on social media too if you do that.I've gotten back into it and have found that it is in fact very fun. The game is called Magistream. In it, you take up the roll of a mage/magi who has entered a magical world. Every half hour or so I believe, you can pull an egg from a stream. These eggs contain various monsters that you can click to raise. Thing is, you can only click them once per day, and the same goes for everyone else, but you can click other peoples' monsters too and they also have inbed features that will let you put code up to post them on their forums in various chatter and game threads, and also you can post them on social media. Unlike a lot of click-to-grow games like this, the monsters will slowly grow to adulthood without your help. In addition to the stream, there are also shops, donation pets, and on top of that, quest pets and events, of which halloween, harvest festival (American thanksgiving) Winter Solstace (Christmas. New Year's, Valentine's, Spring event, and magiversary (yearly celebration of the site) are the ones I know about, though I've never played the holidays. Currently there are 1139 different creatures, some obtainable by the methods above and some only obtainable through breeding. A lot of them are retired monthly pets (there are usually 3 per month and you only get one shot at holiday stuff because they have a whole new set each year) and you can also trade and stuff as well.The game has a lot of graphics for the creatures, but unlike a lot of pet games, they have good descriptions so unlike in other pet games like Subeta, I have no doubts in my mind of what my pets look like.Generally you can just collect and wait for stuff to grow, but also you can get game money for clicking the graphics for the pets of others and post the pets you want to raise on the forums.
