Re: Possible bavisoft changes I guess I should make some clarifications here.I'm not meaning to advertise the bavisoft games at all; I'll jump right in with all of you in saying they're hardly high quality in any way other than the acting.It was more my intent to give folks some notice that their may actually be a way to get in touch with them again. While doing research for the audiogames archive, I'd noticed that the email address listed for their domain had changed, noted that as activity, and figured I'd throw it out here for anybody who wanted to attempt to get intouch with them again, for whatever reason. Re: Possible bavisoft changes Well, the games from Bavisoft were really awesome for their time. But I don't think we'll ever hear from those guys again. They know how to contact the blind gamers, so an active domain might just mean that someone is keeping it active for use of private mails or something like that. The company has been dead for so long so I would be surprised if they ever come back. Maybe as a new company with a new name. I played bavisofts games when I was around 12 to 13 years old and they were great for there time but; comparing them to the games of today, entombed, papa sangre 1 and 2, audio defense, edge of winter, (not my kind of game but it's still a lot better than bavisofts games were,) entombed ii, when it comes out. There are a lot better games out there now than there was 10 years ago. Re: Possible bavisoft changes Good gravy! what is it with people and Bavisoft?The games were fun for what they were, but even in the genre of audio adventures have definitely been surpassed now, inquisitor series, Noire, Codename Sygnas, grail to the thief, possibly soul trapper (though that's one I've not tried).I'm sure pretty much everyone has played the Bavisoft games at this point, in which case can't we just move on?Heck, to be honest I'd be far more excited at the thought of Bsc coming back than Bavisoft right now, sinse I spent far more time with the likes of Hunter, Pipe 2 and Troopanum than I did with Grizly gulch or Chillingham, the last especially given how dam pointless the plot was.
