problem with nvda hello guys,2 days ago, I installed windows 10 in my laptop. Then I installed nvda, but then I restart it cause it had problems. first error was check the logs in c:\program files x86\nvdaslave-exe or something thatthen, I restart laptop, and nvda didn't turned on. then I download nvda, and reinstall it but when it was installing I see error: error: check the logs: c:\users\giorgi\appdata\local\temp\ then something nhq6.temp\nvdanoiaccess.exe.logs and ok button.I need help guys can anyone help me? thanks in advance, and sorry some grammar spelling. another problem with NVDA
another problem with NVDA hi, I have yet another Problem with NVDA, yet again it not reading stuff. for some reason, I was installing a cupple of add ons when suddenly NVDA went all quiet and stopepd reading anything accept Input keys. it didn't read any Output at all. the addons I had installed up to this Point are:append text, baloon history, Bookmark search, caption Speed, Clip copy, dropbox, eloquence, fake clipboard thingy, file Reader, instant translate, jump to line, list something, enhanced list view Support, ntm for NVDA, object sounds, pdf to text, select profiles, Version add on and improvements to the Skype 7 module. sinse installing those add ons, NVDA only speaks Input keys and for some reason the rate is set to 50, the pitch to 55, the volume to 50 and the inflection to 50. can anyone help with this? Strange problem with nvda Hello guys!My friend is facing a very strange problem.Pressing ctrl + alt + n to enable NVDA or clicking on the desktop icon windows shows an error saying:This program is not compatible and requires the latest version.I really don't remember what the exact message is but it's something to that effect.Already reinstalled NVDA, we deleted the settings folder and tried to run the shortcut as an administrator, but still did not solve.It has NVDA 2019.1.1 and windows 10 64-bit.What can be done? problem with NVDA remote Hi there.So I'm currently using the latest release of nvda, 2019.1.1, and for some odd reason, my nvda remote stopped working. I can find it fine in the nvda menu and all that, but when I hit the connect option, or anything in the remote menu, it just returns back to the active window and doesn't show the dialog. I don't know why this is and I have tried reinstalling the remote addon multiple times as well. Maybe there's a release that I don't know about somewhere? Reset nvda to complete defaults with addons removed, and try installing addons one by one. That way you can discover the addon that's causing the problem. Also you don't need an addon for skype. Just use it right out of the box. It's accessible enough. Personally, I would rid the profiles add-on as this support is now in NVDA. Additionally, Skype 7 support will greatly improve in NVDA 2015.1, due by the end of February 2015. But after I removed some addons... problem solved!Personally I would turn off autoupdate in Skype and downgrade to 6.1.something, because, seriously, its so inaccessable that... well... However, Skype 7 with the latest development snapshot of NVDA (the next branch) really works like a charm. problem with nvda and keyboard Hi all, i using nvda on my lap-top. Today i bought a new lap top. WHen i using nvda i navigate around the internet sites and when i want to return on top of the page i press a insert and F5. For unknow reason it not work on keyboard of my new lap-top. I connect lap --top with external keyboard and try to press insert+F5 and it work normaly. Can any give me some advice how to solve this. Problem with NVDA in games! Re: problem with NVDA remote trie re installing the addon.if that doesn't work copy the installers for all of your addons some where then re install nvda. then run the installers you could make a little .bat script that could open all of the nvda addon installers.saving you the trubble of constently opening things and restarting your nvda.if you want help with writing that script just ask, it would be only like 10 lineswell, even less than that. [Audiogames-reflector] Problem with NVDA
Problem with NVDA Hi folks,I've been cleaning out the desktop here for a few days now, but I seem to have removed some component for NVDA. I believe I removed something to do with a Windows-based application, because I've attempted to reinstall NVDA two or three times.The problem that persists is a message indicating that "NVDA Remote Helper" or an application with those words rearranged has stopped working. You know, that ordinary Windows jazz that says something's not running.I'm getting another error for Windows that comes up only when NVDA is on to my knowledge. Nevertheless, it causes NVDA to crash, and not respond. Or at least, the synthesizer refuses to respond, and is delayed. I have to close any of the error messages to proceed.Is this an OS issue, or an NVDA issue?Like I said, I may have removed a component in the app data folder or the registry whilest trying to clean out a lot of programs, but I'm not sure if I accidentally deleted something essential...Unfortunately, I can't check if I did. You need to find out how to change the default behaviour for your laptop brand. I did this to a dell not long ago, but I can't seem to find the option now. It's supposed to be under mobility centre, but I couldn't find it. You could also try locking the Fn key, but it would be best to change the defaults. I'd recommend to either let the original author port the add-on or hand it over to the NVDA community to do it for you, since you obviously don't know how to handle NVDA add-ons or Python whatsoever. The NVDA release notes describe pretty much all developers of add-ons need to know when they need to port over add-ons from earlier NVDA versions to the newest one, so go and check that one out if you so wish. That should bring it back because it'll go to the default device. If you want to further route it from there, you can do so but now you'll have speech to read where it's going. Re: a strange problem with nvda I doubt it would make any difference. So, when you are on speakers, all the sounds and everything come through normally except NVDA? If that's the case, use Narrator or something else to make sure NVDA's sound device is indeed set to Microsoft sound mapper. I mean, that's what home is supposed to do and it should work, but I have no idea why it does not. Alternatively, you could try setting it to your speakers manually, or even restart NVDA while you are on speakers. For instance, certain mics will do that. The Yetis will, my AudioTechnica ATR-2100 does, so does my Rode NT-USB.The way to find out is to check inside mmsys.cpl and see which device says default.I generally don't think this is the case, because default devices will route everything to themselves. For some reason certain applications seem to screw up nvda's focus, winamp being the primary example that does it for me. It is mind bogglingly irritating. I have to close winamp and minimise most windows if I want to access dropbox from the system tray for example. I've got flash installed, yet internet explorer works most of the time, yet FF doesn't seem to with NVDA. any ideas? That will usually play the movie or what ever you're watching. If not. Try NVDA and space, then left mouse button. Re: Problem with NVDA and Firefox Hello guys,I use Jaws with firefox, there might be some differences between Jaws and NVDA, but they may have something similar in common. It happen even to me firefox get crashed, the main screen of firefox hides, and the only thing to make firefox work again is by exiting it from task manager. Try disabling some add-ons and it might work properly. I did this by going to tools from within add-ons manager, or press ctrl+shift+A, click "Never activate" for some who you think that are not so much necessary to use and close and open again your mozilla browser.Hope I could help a little.
