Re: Anyone still have Clipboard2sapi?

A quick google search turned up the following:http://fullmeasure.co.uk/cliptalk/I'm not sure if this is the specific program you're looking for.The reason I offer to code it myself is because I think it'd be really easy to do, and because I'd be able to offer screen reader functionality as well as sapi. There's no poinht in hunting for a program for days if you can build the same concept in 30 minutes - unless clipboard2sapi had features other than simply speaking the text.

Re: Anyone still have Clipboard2sapi?

I think you misunderstand it man. I mean, there's a program called Clipboard2Sapi out there, but the link provided by bladestorm on this forum is broken. I don't mean I need anyone to code it for me or anything like that.

Re: Anyone still have Clipboard2sapi?

I'd need a bit more info to implement this, but either way I don't think it'd be tough to do.The two interfaces I'm currently looking at are:*a small program, to which you make a shortcut on the desktop. You then activate that shortcut via hotkey, the program runs and announces the contents of the clipboard.*A program that runs in its own window, and monitors the contents of the clipboard. It'd probably update 5 or 10 times per second, presuming that'd be enough to catch all the info you needed from the game, and whenever the contents of the clipboard changes, it'd speak it through your reader/sapi. The downside to this is that it'd happily read out a 50 page document you've just copied to paste somewhere else. Let me know which one you're thinking of - either one should take me less than 5 minutes to put together.

Re: Anyone still have Clipboard2sapi?

I'm not sure what that is, really. What I know is it speaks whatever comes to your clipboard or something like that. Bladestorm mentioned it in the guide for playing japanese games, but now the link, along with several optional tools he uploaded are all gone. I'm not sure if anyone still has it. I'm actually just looking for some more flavor while playing BK series.

Re: Anyone still have Clipboard2sapi?

Can you explain a bit more about what this does?If its just a matter of speaking the contents of the clipboard, I think I could probably cook that up in a minute or two in bgt, all you'd have to do is put a shortcut on your desktop and set up a hotkey for it. This would use any running screen reader and then default to sapi, unless you want something different.
