There really is nothing to the sound design save maybe a few tweeks here and there for certain sounds. I'd willingly showcase it in an audio file if anyone is truly interested. Re: Are you stil watching cartoons some times? I liked watching gargoyles. It had a surprisingly dark theme for a kids show, and it is the only one with the balls to touch on gun control and safety. Seriously no other kids show was brave enough to do that at the time. They always made it unrealistic, or edit it out altogether like the localization of one piece by forkids. I think that batman the animated series was the inspiration for gargoyles. Re: Are you stil watching cartoons some times? Yep, I love cartoons. My favourite cartoon of all time, is, specifically, Transformers Prime. It's set over three seasons and put so much of that universe's lore into one cartoon and the thing that sets it apart for me, is the second season's finale. To this day, nothing's even beaten it. Friendship is Magic actually did come sort of close and is great purely for the fact that for a cartoon about ponies, it covered a lot of subject matter but also embraced the fantasy side of things a bit. But Transformers Prime wins overall for me.As for anime, I've seen all of the original Yu-Gi-Oh and I loved it. I would like to watch GX even though it's not quite as good, I remember it from my childhood, although yes it was a lot sillier than the original series. X-men does give the characters distinct sound effects, but they also narrate less, so it kinda balances out, especially when there's a new character and they never explain what they can do (does anyone know what Apocalypse's powers actually are? I remember him evading an attack by just disappearing for a couple seconds, hitting Rogue with some kinda giant blast, growing, and in X-men Vs Street Fighter he has that drill and some kinda fireball drone-thing and ... o_o).So, uh, I think I answered the OP, there, too. Hello,I've recently wanted to start watching X-Men and Spider-Man Animated Series shows, but they don't have description, and in action shows like that, it's kind of important. My girlfriend and I will watch SpongeBob together sometimes, and I'm not ashamed to admit, I went back and watched some Kipper episodes just because I missed the days of being holed up in my room with the loud VCR and Kipper on the staticky TV. Mostly these days though, I just watch animated movies instead of cartoons. And I'm not ashamed to say I love Pixar movies.
