On a more serious note, everybody else pretty much explain what the problem with your attitude is, but you choose to address only specific parts and leave the rest out. I get that playing mainstream retro games is frustrating for some people, and on the same note I can play some games and complete them, yet if someone were to ask me to explain a level to someone I'm not sure how I'd do it. Reading guides for sighted players is often helpful as well, after all that's somewhat the point of a mainstream game, not to expect a blind person to tell you everything. Of course, this wont always work, and this is where you come and say hey, I've done this and read a guide which says to do that, but I'm not sure how best to achieve that as a blind player. Just saying hey I can't beat this boss wont help people understand what issues you're having. Re: Blind people can't beat Samurai Shodown 2019 story mode @26, for that kind of reason i like your guides hahaha. that was great, definitely!@1:You haven't told us how the heck we can help you, so here is some general info.please note that i've played the game only twice, because i don't own it myself. i'm awaiting the steam verssion.If you wanna know some info about the boss, or the story in general, you can check this:https://snk.fandom.com/wiki/Shizuka_GozenAbout shizuka herself, maybe the most useful info you need to know is to understand how the battle works.When round 1 starts, she will have an aura around her, think of it like a shield. basically, in this state, you can't cause damage to her. you need to hit her of course, but you will cause damage to her aura. after several hits, you will destroy the shield, and she will be defenseless on the ground. she can't attack, she can't move... that's your chance. you need to hit her as much as you can, causing the maximun possible damage. After some time has passed or when you cause enough damage, her shield will reappear and you have to destroy it again. destroy the shield again, and be careful with her attacks or supers. once it's destroyed, attack shizuka with all you've got.general tip: if you have meter for a special or your issen, use it after hiting shizuka enough times. what i'm trying to sai is that after destroying her shield, you must cause damage and use your super or issen as the last part of your attacks, and try to save your issen for round 2.After defeating her in the first round, she will be much more powerful but it is the same pattern of destroying her shield and then attacking the boss.oh, one more thing. at the start of round 2, block immediately because she will start by doing a super attack.I hope this helps you, and a friendly tip. next time you need help, do things better, cause if i see another rant like this, even if i can, i'll not help you anymore. There are some occasions where I'll see a topic, but I don't know the answer so I won't respond to it, because at this point I won't be of very much help to the poster. But then, I'll see that other people haven't answered either and it makes me think, how can the probable hundreds of users on this forum all unanimously not know the answer to this question. Does it bother me when I see people not getting help? Yeah, I'll admit it does a little bit. At the same time though, there may be something regarding said question that I don't know about that could be the reason why nobody's answering, so I'm not going to blow up on the forum as a hole just because someone isn't getting help with a problem. I have a lot of things to be frustrated or angry about in my life already; there's literally no need to add small things like that to the list. Ultimately, if you're really desperate to have that question answered and it's been - say - a week or so, make another post in that same topic letting people know you still need help. After that, perhaps a few months down the road, if you still haven't found the answer to that question by means of searching places like Google or this forum via forum search, maybe post another post in that topic or make another topic about it. After that though, I wouldn't keep pushing it, because you'll start to come across as spammy. usually this forum is pretty good about answering my questions, so I can't even remember the last time I had to say, "Hey guys, I still need help." Even when I didn't get a response to one of my topics, it really wasn't important enough for me to push for an answer. Bottom line? Don't have outbursts like these, it makes you look winy and entitled. Mind you, I'm not saying you are, but still... I think you get what I mean. When I first started using retroarch's accessibility, I learned by exploring. If it helps, think of it like a game, exploring new stuff, figuring out what does what. And yeah, you can ask questions, and I'll point you to where you can learn more. Documentation is written so that people can have a central guide on a topic, so that the information doesn't have to be said over and over again. I know, though, that a lot of people are not very technically minded, and will need extra documentation, a getting started guide, so I'll work on that.Also, the world is nowhere near perfect, and won't be until the return of the king, and that includes software, people, documentation, and games. So we all have to work on being patient with each other, explain things *the best we can*, and seeing how far we can drive accessibility in games and emulation systems. Unless I am wrong, there should be no other objective other than defeating her. If you're not good, then you have to either be cheap or lucky. Being cheap means finding a way to exploit the ai, but hey, a win is a win. That's true for any fighting game. But then again, I dont have this particular one so cant offer any specific advice on it. Just dont give up. Remember that samurai shodown isn't a game where you can go in slashing like crazy. Play it slow and methodical, wait for openings.
