Whatever you append there will be read by the screen reader. I tell you this because there are some things that if you access through the main menu, tts will not read, but at the same time, those same items can be put on the quick menu. You should now at least be able to send and read messages, read your notifications, adjust various settings, switch profiled, turn on and off the console, update your games, pick and play your physical or digital game, manage game data, not sure what else you could want to do. And you can just use the webpage or app to browse and buy and download things from the store. I want specific answers too, not an answer like, everything else. I especially want to know if they are essential things to the gaming experience. Bare in mind that I'm on the outside looking in when it comes to sbox1, and I always see people complain about how bad the tts on ps4 is without offering up any real specifics on improvement, so I'm not just throwing out this challenge to be sarcastic or derisive. I will start by saying that creating and managing folders isnt accessible, but that's not a big deal to me right now. Re: PS4, and the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad screenreader Some of the things that are inaccessible to the built-in screen reader include, but are not limited to, most of the settings options, (time/date, profile management, etc,) anything in the share menu, browsing the store on the console itself, the entire initial setup process, system updates, and more. Even the screen reader itself is limited. The only things you can control are the speed and volume of the voice.
