Tapatalk integration would be nice, but since it doesnt work with the forum software, I guess thats really out of the question. VBulletin is cool but its very advanced and quite complex. It does have some awesome features though. The templates alone take forever to set up. Re: We're back! Hello. I like the idea of a rating system. AppleVis has one which seems to work great, although Ive only rated and recommended one app. I realize they have a somewhat different set-up, but just saying. Regarding push notifications, I was at 2 websites which both asked me whether to allow push notifications. I clicked Dont allow on both occasions, due to the fact I am still rather new to the Mac operating system as a whole and specifically to VoiceOver. The only Apple product which I own is a Mac Book Air. Whether that will change overtime remains to be seen, but Im loving the MBA. So Im not sure, maybe push notifications would be good for those who can use them and know how to do so. Re: We're back! A phone/tablet app would be a lot of work, and for what benefit exactly ? You can browse the database and use the forum already quite well on phones/tablets currently.For notifications, I think that you can already register by e-mail, its certainly sufficient.I think that the most interesting feature not so difficult to do you could add is, as already said, a rating for games.I suggest giving four separate ratings : gameplay, scenario, ambiance and accessibility; and compute an average rating out of these of course.It would be interesting to be able to quickly best rated games ever, or see best rated games in one of the components specificly.The accessibility rating would be good to have... it could be quite useful when talking about browser games or mobile phone/tablet games.Why ambiance and not sound: simply because some games like muds are only text... this rating should also be able to apply to them indifferently.Another usefu l thing would be to more clearly indicate general game features of interest: online multiplayer, multiplayer on the same computer, single player, need screen reader, self-voiced, in the browser, etc. in the same banner as text, sound and visual features are indicated. This would be interesting to quickly find online multiplayer games, as well as offline exclusively single player ones for example. I heard about the alternative forum, so I was over there since the return of the original audiogames.net.Yes, rating games, as well as finding out who gave a thumbs-up would be cool to me either, however, I think there are many many apps for forums like audiogames.net, which push you everything like new topics, posts, etc. But Im not sure what apps are accessible to us. As far as I know, theyre all paid.Ive stumbled upon one of the apps while searching through a similar kind of forum, suddenly the iPhone asked me whether Id like to download a particular app in order to search through forums easier. You just type in the URL of the forum once the app is installed, and here goes! But I did not however installed the app because it was paid, and I didnt want to risk spending money on stuff which m aybe would have been turned out as something inaccessible. Wouldnt that be frustrating?
