My initial desire, yes, my personal wish, if you carefully consider, is quite simply to join in and troll trolls because why not? The answer is quite straightforward: I can read. this sight has a code of conduct. There are policies that are enforced by a panel of trusted individuals. There is nothing in the faq or elsewhere that says you are allowed to throw away those rules you don't like and proceed as you please. If you're as grown up as you claim to be, neither I nor any of the other mods should have to point this out to you.Please consider not only your intent behind what you post but the way someone else is going to take it. As mods we're not here to handhold and babysit; we're not here to referee disputes between members of this community. We're here to keep it as balanced as possible. If you wish to fight, take it elsewhere. Whatever you do outside of here is your personal issue and we promise not to try and intervene wherever else you might go with it. If someone else brings it up to us we won't even bat an eyelid and tell them we could honestly care less so long as it doesn't take place here. That's it. I'd like to look the other way and pretend nothing happened here; that will be determined by the way everyone concerned with this topic behaves. The question is how far are you willing to let it go? I know back in my days admins would put a stop to my antics with a stearn warning. We see in this thred lots of rule breakages with hardly any intervention. It'd just be nice to see someone with authority remind everyone how this is an online, global platform and that what we write here today is visible throughout the coming years as well. He basically deleted the source without announcing that the game was finished. Least he could have done is like post on here saying what he was planning to do, majority of us players only found out after we couldn't connect. That's why i wasn't too sure about trying this one and getting attached to it and loving it, because if danny had ditched the game before, he could easily have done it again. It didn't seem to run well on my system, but also since this is the third attempt at a deathmatch online game, I honestly wasn't too sure how long it would take for crap like this to happen. If you enjoy DMNB and are disappointed in the recent events regarding its existence, just wait 3 more months. Hell... maybe 6 at most. It'll be back in some other form. If this next form doesn't get off the ground very far, at least it will get off and stay off for a short period of time. Then it will go down as have the others. But honestly I wouldn't wait around, because clearly this developer or group of developers has significant difficulties working together. Imho it's quite unethical to leave it up to one of the two people whom we can gather are the cause of drama to provide the community with updates regarding the game's status, especially when it is something as detremental as whether or not the game will remain in existence; where was the rest of this "six manned team"? We& #039;ll probably never know why this game went down for real. But having watched this topic closely for months now I can only remark upon one thing: it is not one specific person's fault that this project is down. To avoid triggering the wrath of certain "veterins" if you will of game development, I will refrain from saying this was completely unprofessional, instead stating that it should have and could have been handled and processed much better than this, and that these games and game versions are just going to become ever less popular and taken less and less seriously as they progress if the people involved cannot get their acts together. Professional team / company or not, acting and going about things like children is no way to present oneself to a community. I've done it before and all it did was make me look stupid. It's not doing much different for this development.Bottom line, telling one another to shut up over the forum and blaming each oth er for this and that, coupled together with the head developer suddenly ducking out of existence when things got hard, makes you guys look like a joke. Also, I don't even remember there being an auto updater in this version of the game. I remember when the first version came out, Christmas of 2014 I watch the game grow from a little time waster to an epic multiplayer game. And then? It just gets dropped. I know there might have been problems, but the least you could have done was create a stage where are you could just blast enemies with different laser weapons. Then, the game might not have just been some programs sitting on a horse that is your hard drive. Re: death match a new beginning v3 This may be fixed now, but when I tried the game there was a very noticable lag of about 3 to 5 seconds between a sound such as a chat being sent and the speech, be it NVDA, jaws, or sapi being the 3 i tried, reading what it is that happened. This may have been fixed, but just thought i'd put it out there if it hasn't. Is there a way to stop jaws from not allowing the aro keys to work as they should? I will use NVDA if I must, but would really prefer to use jaws as i am more familliar with it. And is there a way to turn 45 degrees to northeast or east and such? That would be easier.I'm also not sure how to buy a ship, I bought one once but I could never actually find where it was to go inside it.
