The sounds are, kind of.@liam, press f11 to copy text as it scrolls by. Unfortunately, there's no way to stop the text going by so quickly as of this beta.To the rest of you. Please, for heavens' sake, use q-translate or similar and read the game's documentation and menus properly! Slowing down tts can be done in, surprisingly, the tts settings... and again, the box for using English os at the beginning of the main menu. All you have to do is click the game and restart. Regarding translation and speeds, people need to realize that with a game this big, translations are ot going to bedone overnight, especially when said translators, only one of whom is actually a fluent chinese speaker, are not getting paid! Liam nailed it with post 100... this game has been discussed previously, and it's not like people do not know that the beta wasn't going to be fully translated. Nothing here to do with marketting as all the ino is out in the open... and for the record, neither I nor Nuno has control over the dub. That's al in the developer's hands, and I wouldn't expect a quality translation of the dubbed voices as that seems to already be recorded. Re: dreamland - Public test version sorry to double post but isn't the idea of a public beta, to gather feedback from plays, and 98 percent of the english base, are not able to contribute? whilst it is fantastic we are getting an english version, with only 2 people who of course do this as a side project are working on it, how long will it be before an english version that is translated, then recorded in to voice acting be out? the impression of the release is that thousands of dialogues are recorded, yet this isn't the case? seems quite bad marketing imho, although i applaud assault and other people for working on it. i would have happily paid for jgt if it had chinese and other languages. that way, the english base could have given their feedback. Hit up arrow on the radio button to accept the terms of the license and then alt + n to go to the next screen. Next, change the path to C instead of D and hit alt + n to advance. This will get you through the tricky part. The setup process is a standard one so the next screens will contain the instalation settings, just advance through them with alt + n then hit alt + i to install the game. However, one thing I notice is that once I connect to the server, I cannot go backward to the main menu that comes up when the game first loads. There are 4 choices, followed by 9 more, then the last one for what I presume is language. After switching to English, I'd like to be able to see what the other menu options are, and I don't see how to do that. If I go all the way to the right, then hit up, it will switch to English. However, if I then hit the down arrow to back out so that I can see what the other menu items are,, it just reverts back to Chinese. Am I doing something incorrectly? I hope the issue get fixed where the chosen TTS speed doesn't save. It keeps reading some of the text very fast.I managed to install the game, create an account and log in to check some of the basic stuff.Installing the game can be quite tricky. You have to find the browse button, and change the drive to C instead of D. I wander why it has been set to D as default.Then, the install prompt is just a basic installer. You have to accept the licens agreement. Just listen for the alt commands such as alt N, alt I alt F etc.When the game launches, the intro video starts to play. This is fully translated into English, and it is very well done.When the menu comes up, move all the way to the right as previously explained in this topic, and press the up arrow to confirm, and the menu changes to English.Press alt y to change the speech settings. Press tab until you come to the sliders which can be adjusted by pressing the left or right arrows. Confirm by pressing enter if I'm not mistaken.Registering an account can be a bit tricky. Here is how I did it:1. Click on register account. Not quick register, but register. Remember: Up arrow confirms, and down arrow backs out of sub menus.2. Enter your email.3. Click on send confirm code button.4. Open up the mail to read it. Use word by word navigation to find the section which contains the number you need to enter. If you navigate word by word by pressing control and the right arrow, you can find the number much easier.5. Enter the number.6. Type in your password which needs to be confirmed, and finally choose submit or whatever it is called. I don't remember. If it goes as planned, you have hopefully created your account. Then, you can connect to the server, create your character and start playing the game.It's getting late over here, so I haven't looked much at the game yet.
