@Granny and Rich, fair point. I was just trying to push across the point that just because someone isn't there or no longer around that doesn't embargo us from speaking about that person, their actions and in this case services. People from this very forum was banned and yet discussion still continued about said individuals. As mentioned previously, this is at the end of the day, and even though its a free one, a service none the less. If granny cheese and whoever else feels it necessary to give their opinions on the service based on past experiences, that's their choice. They're free to do so. Eitherways,

I'd like to raise something... I find it kinda strange how andy_the_blindy is only... three days old... And he's defending Simpter with all his being. Sound a bit odd doesn't it?I dunno about you but something smells off about this whole thing. We've got a user who comes on here talking about Simpter's services. Everyone jumps to tell him that he shouldn't trust Simpter -- something that is, I'd say, indubitable -- and then this unknown person, who we know absolutely nothing about, and who has no history to speak of on this forum that I am aware of, starts defending, with everything he can generate, someone who was banned with good reason and just cause. The OP seems to be staying out of it, from what I can tell, which tells me that any of the following things is happening: (1) the OP understands the dangers and is moving onto a legitimate and trustworthy service provider and is taking into consideration the facts and viewpoints expressed by those who have experience with Simpter; (2) the OP is going to attempt to verify the claims made by those who have experience with simpter; or (3) the OP saw the drama and is staying out of things until things cool off. But andy_the_blindy -- who, I remind you, has no community history that I know of -- keeps pushing things and defending someone who's actions cannot be defended with any level of certainty whatsoever. Just pointing out how suspicious this looks to me. Or maybe I'm just reading too much into the situation.

If there's evidence out there about what I had done, then people have the right to talk about it. Simter could have made a case for himself back when he wasn't banned. And if you go to simter.tk, you can read this whole thing he wrote up about the whole affair. But he was too busy carrying on to step back and say look, I think there was a misunderstanding here, what I really meant was...Now what I don't do, and will not do is spread rumors about people. Everything I've said about Simter is verifiable if you want to go digging. But I fail to see why I shouldn't be talking about this, especially as this concerns a business or business-like entity that Simter is in control of. And said entity will be handling people's data, and potentially source code. I think that I have the moral obligation to inform people that their trust in this company or business or venture is misplaced.Now, I can see how an argument could be made that I don't know that, as I've never actually seen him mishandle someone's information. My rebuttal to that is that as he plays the victim, and always thinks he is right and everyone else is out to get him and trying to screw him out of things, that's a fairly good indicator of someone you wouldn't want to trust. It's very much like Donald Trump the way Simter acts.Have you ever noticed how anything that goes wrong with Trump is because someone else screwed him out of it. he couldn't do this because of this court ruling, or because this didn't pass the house or senate, or whatever. Have you ever, in Trump's 4 years heard him be like yeah, this is my bad, it's on me, I'm gonna fix it and do better. Hell no, because he can't, as it's pretty clear that he's got narcissistic tendencies.This is simter. Go read that thing he wrote. It's dripping with narcissism and contempt for everyone involved. It's immature as hell and it's him playing the victim. And if he were able to write here, what would he even say? He'd most likely just say how it's not true because of . So I'm not overly concerned about the fact that he can't jump in on this.
