How ever some sighted (unfortunately no braille) are aparrently to dumm to read that. I never had these problems fortunately, but what happens sometimes is that, even when i do nothing at all and just sit there, example, in school when the teacher talks something, that one ear gets a really loud beeping for a few seconds and is then almost gone, recovering during the next few seconds. creating text adventures Hello.I decided to give text adventure makers another try. I tried twine. The only thing regarding this though that i could find was quest. I can kind of create things but when i run my adventure it ends up beeing really inaccessible and complicated to play. The builder isn't this great either and also it seams like it is not possible to compile stuff made with quest. I also found twine how ever this one seams to be more gamebook related and also it sais i should doubleclick a passage to edit it how ever i don't have a mouse and if i just press enter nothing happens. wierd tunnelbear problem when using wify
wierd tunnelbear problem when using wify Hi. I recently got my new laptop and wanted to use tunnel bear on it. At first i had a premium account, but it recently expired so i am back to the free plan. How ever, now when i try to connect, it first connects, then sais for a few seconds no internet connection and disconnects my vpn, and then attempts to reconnect, this in an endless circle. I realtalk once accidentally let this run for 10 minutes while i was not there. My wify never disconnects, i was checking the tray item. And also no other devices internet interupts and also the router does not report any thing. I already tried turning tcp override on, helped nothing. Then i tried ghost bear with the result it was no longer connecting at all so turned it back off. Using lan it works completely fine. How ever on wify, on 2 different routters (same modell but different places), it had this problem. Is any one else facing this problem? computer power suplie exploded, is any thing else damaged? Hi. Today, i wantted to power on my desktop pc. Was 2 weeks not at home and wanted to check some stuff. Powered tthe thing on and it went on and off for a while. I did not wonder at first cause it sometimes does that when it was longer turned off, maybe i had tbetter taken atention to that for longer. But when it did that the thirt time in a follow up and also the on off breaks got shorter and shorter i was then starting to wonder a bit cause usually it happens only once, not 4 times. Then it suddenly stopped and i was about to turn of the power when i then heard that one of the fans was suddenly coming back, how ever it sounded like it was only trying and not geting enough power, then suddenly a strange squeaking noise and boom! Glat every thing staid in the pc and notthing went out and i still had my fingers on the power switch. But the thing already smelld like a cigarett. A sighted person then opened the thing and saw that one of tthe condensators blew up, blocking the power suplies fan from starting properly, and that was probably where the boom came from as well. I how ever seriously wonder how this happened. I mean, if i had the power turned on while i was not at home it would be clear but the thing was completely powerless, and last time i powered it 2 weeks aggo it worked just fine, it even worked great since it was not so long aggo, in fact only a few days, that it got a ram update. So now i mainly am conncerned about 2 things.1. Is it possible that any other hartware got damaged from the ttime it tried to power on and went of and again on and of and so on? The other person said that was all looking fine except of the liquit tthat came out of the power suply, but who knows.2. Have you ever had similar experiences with desktop pcs? The thing was only 5 years old and i have seen pcs longer survive under harder conditions, like the pc of my mom is almost 10 years old and still works perfect.3. Could it be tthat this happened due to my room beeing pritty dusty for what ever reason so i had to clean the fans like all 3 months, so would it maybe make sense to place the thing maybe on and not under the table or something like that?Well, i kinda want to repair the thing and would be glat to see it working. Also, it was not the power suply that exploded, but one of the condensators in it. And i can actually pritty good say how long it took to turn it self of. First 5 seconds, then like 3, then 1 and then squeak boom after one single fan tried it's best to come back again. I already had my finger on the power switch and in the moment where this scary squeaking noise kicked in i directly pressed the button. That would also explain why the fuse in our house did not go off. But the squeaking and booming of the capacitor i couldn't stop. The thing was probs broken any way, from closer looking, it seamed like liquit ran out of the thing before. The liquid how ever is conductive and probably so caused a lot of contacts that where not soposed to happen, also the capacitor blocked the fan and well that caused it then. geting started with reaper
geting started with reaper Hi. I have a nice bt midi keyboard here that i used to play on my ipad. How ever i want to try now how this thing works on a comp, with reaper. I installed reaper and osara already, and also sws. But i don't get a few things.1. Are there any good vsts/instroments packs to download? I tried native instruments but the native access program is buggy and inaccessible adleast here.2. What are actually efects? I am a little confused now, are efects actually audio efects or is that not the case?Thanks. Re: windows 10 1903 broke .ogg files Hi guys.Sorry for reviving this topic, it is ages old i know. But i, and also a friend of mine, has still the same problem. It wwas like this. It only happened on my old laptop fortunately but my friend has to bother with that on his actual machine.* If i try to play a ogg file with explorer(vlc media player on win10 1909 and 2004), it opens up vlc how ever in a really wierd state it sounds like this. "Documents window, Vlc media player" Even if i am not even near documents. It doesn't play and also the menubar is not accessable. When i try to delete a ogg file, it sais status 0 percent and gets stuck eventually. I don't see the percent window after wards anymore and also can delete nothing else any more, how ever every thing except deleting still works. I then have to get my os.remove python methot to remove the file, which then takes like 3 min for what ever file but eventually unfreeces explorer which then poopps up with multiple delete messages at once for the same file that is now already gone.This is a really wierd problem and i kind of have the feeling that there is some win program that tries to process the files somehow which causes the problem. Again, sorry for reviving, but did you guys find any solution? It's so got darn anoying and the interfaces of other explorer apps, mee. I literarely had to force reboot my comp 3 times due to explorer crashing so fataly that it took nvda with it and not even desktop shortcuts where doing it. Re: computer power suplie exploded, is any thing else damaged? Ok, now my laptop psu is doing some stuff that kind of bugs me. So the following. I have this new hp laptop here that i now own for like 1 month, it arrived here on 10.07 but was only turned on 10 days later because i was in holydays and it was so nice to arrive exactly on the day where i was siting in the car. All works great. The psu is a standart one with one cable that you plug in the actual psu and there a cable that you plug into the laptop. I have now noticed that every time i touch the psu or do something so the cable from is moving, it is doing electric noises. It happens on the side where the cable is going into the psu, fortunately not on the laptop side. I how ever still find this kind of vorrying because it also makes nice noises if i take the cable out of the laptop without turning the power off, and then it sounds like it has to fight back power for adleast 4 secs until it is silent again. Is that normal or do i need to look for a new one? Btw, desktop with the exploded psu still works perfectly normal, except a problem that was not hartware related. my ipad looks like it is bent Hi. Ok, this sounds like extremely wierd ass or made up, but it is really the case. I have an ipad from 2017 that i recently reconfigured to use my custom appleid, then i installed some apps etc. Every thing still works, even the battery seams like it didn't drain even though it is almost 3 years old. Now i have noticed when the thing is on my table, the uper left edge of my screen looks ike it didn't lie on the table properly anymore. I first though it was the battery but up, but the full edge was up and not just the tuch screen. I can even press on the edge and the whole pad moves up. Ok, in all seriousnes, the psus behavior is bugging me again. So what happened was me trying to upload a youtube video. I didn't make it with firefox so i tried to use chrome. For info, i always have a program in the background that informs me if my cores go critical hot. So i ran chromee and after a while and still not making it(youtube studio is a pain in the ass), i suddenly heard. "Coretemp. Warning. Core0 is critical.". I then looked into the systray and saw that the cores where all arround 97/100degrees in celsius. I looked at the taskmgr and saw that chrome started something called "software reporter tool.exe". It turned out to be a cores eater, i directly turned it off and my cores eventually went colder. How ever from that moment on it started to ackt up wierdly. For an example it took like 5 minutes to load up an .aup file and also the explorer seamed to have trouble working normal. I then powered the thing to sleep mode(the one where the full thing is off and it keeps the ram in hiberfil.sys). Later on my mom told me the thing was lighting. I wondered, it is not soposed to do that when it was off. I turned it on any way cause i had to check some stuff, it went on, started, and turned it self off. The psu fan was how ever still going. I of course directly turned the power off. It means, that the fuse in the psu broke again, and probs another capazitor. I will try to get a completely new psu now, this one didn't even last 1 month and the pc was like only 1 week actually in use. I unfortunately have to say that the dev is right now driving it against the wall with much force. He splits the whole elten into different packs that you theen have to download. He ignores his own users (i am locked out of my account for almost 1 and a half years now). The main admin named railwayguy performs actions without asking the rest of the team and blocks banned people in pm if they ask him for a reason, removes topics so you can not see what happened and that the situations where not banworthy, and bases half off the ban statement on the age of a user. Then, like 50 percent of the premium features where free before, besides paying for soundthemes for downloading that you haven't even contributed in the slightest at most part, the correction doesn't make it better. microsoft seams to be providing win7 updates to accessibility users! I have noticed, both on my school comp and on my main comp that ms seams to be dropping windows updates for win7. They even give updates for win7 defender. But the most interesting thing i've seen yesterday is my computer prompting me with a familiar update dialog that i haven't seen in months. After doing the updates over night and then booting my comp, i've figured that the update brought microsoft edge to windows 7. The update is called Microsoft Edge Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB4567409);I first thought, wtf do i have a virus? But after analyzing, it seams this is a perfectly normal edge. The folder structure looks like the one of my win10 laptop, the german is not broken like in most other scam apps, and also i can not see any wierd stuff installed or wierd cookies. Re: microsoft seams to be providing win7 updates to accessibility users! @20 windows 10 is slow, the way how it was brought to the market is disgusting and manipulative, the updates a buggy and enforced in an equaly disgusting way, windows jumps the gun on the "i have a so big problem that i need to boot into restore disc mode" so fast it is sometimes already enough if you have to force reboot it and then it doesn't work until you use a restore point, they released the settings up before it was completed and right now it is just a deep mess, and only stuff like that. Not even mentioning windows defender, or windows offender, nice name @rwbeardjr.@22 then i am fricken often in these 1 percent where drivers don't work, these cause only problems on my end and on win7 i could adleast locate them and in most cases it was already enough to remove something from device manager and then reboot if some driver was doing wierd stuff, in win10 it doesn't accept manual installations and the second way doesn't work either. The update is still possible, a friend of mine only did this a few days aggo. How ever i don't plan to do it. Also exactly the only limitation is you won't be able to use personalisation settings. They are either included in programs i don't normally use, like ms word, inaccessible, like a thing i forgot the name of, or inconsistent. The worst thing are the online checkers. Grammerly adleast shows the ammount of what is where wrong but not particularely what, have fun searching, and the others like writingtool.com doesn't seam to do any thing. There is a bug sometimes that if you say no to an update it comes up again but after that it shouldn't do the circle a second time. If it does i can post the link to a beta ver which i know works.
