[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Sort order on Customer Accounts
Hi All Urgently need help with a problem sorting customer accounts. Our client decided on a 'open' structure for their customer account codes, meaning any number of alpha characters. What happens is that Axapta stores these codes with spaces in front, eg.: _ _ _ABC in a 6 wide field. When sorting _ _ _ _ YZ and _ _ _ABC ascending, YZ is above ABC - this follows ASCI sorting rules - no problem, except for the guy working with the data set! The InventTable does not pad with spaces in front like the CustTable. I have changed the Extended Data Types for Justification and Alignment, at the lowest level, to be similar between the CustTable and the InventTable. Have re-indexed, rebooted, re-imported, recreated and just about any other re- you can think of, but with no joy. How do I get the CustTable to behave like the InventTable!! Hi, Ok, thanks for answer, I'll try to be more understandable... :) Let's work on PO lines. I check Qty and Net Price on the report menu. In print options, my query is Status : Received. In the order options, I order by ItemId (with Header checked) And I asked the Grand Total, in order to have the total amount of all my ordered and received items... The result is : my report well generated and the text Grand Total displayed but with no value... Can you have it displayed ? (Do I have something to do with AOT and GrandTotal fields in Report properties ?) Hi, the easiest way is to find a index field which meets your sorting needs. [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Printing Labels/Stickers
Hello all, I need to develop a report that enable us to print labels/stickers for items. The label contains the item name, number, and other characteristics. For each Item a number of labels need to be printed. Now I have been looking for similar existing reports in the AOT but I cannot find one. Our label paper is A4 Format and contains three columns with labels width 64 mm and height 34 mm. Now a user can select the number of labels to print for a specific item. It means I somehow have to keep a counter. Print row by row labels. Is there an example available somewhere or is someone willing to share such kind of report.
