[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Inventdimposted

2005-01-10 Thread Rocco Giumelli

Hi
all

I wonder if anyone
can help..

I have modified the
Inventdimpost Report in Axapta and I want to add a cloumn, that will give the
date of last sale with inventrans.transtype::Project. and have this last trans
date appear on this report

Or is there another
way to get from the Invent module a report that will give last trans date of
this type, without listing all trans dates as the Inventory Transaction report
does. Maybe a criteria that will be like = 'latest date'

Thanking
you

Dear Jesper,

I am running axapta 3.0 sp3.

To simulate the situation I did some testing in a test-environment
and in a development-environment.

I created a new field for the table VendTable in both environments.
In my test-environment I did it in the usr layer. In my development

entered data in the field for the records in my test-environment.

I logged out of both environments.

I removed the axusr.aod and related files from the test-environment
application directory. I copied the axvar.aod and related files from
the development-environment to the test-environment application
directory.

I started the axapta test-environment. Axapta then starts building
the axapd.aoi, axapden-us.khi and axapden-us.ahi files.

After that I logged in and checked whether the data entered
previously was still there. I checked the field id, which was
changed from 51 into 31.

The data was still in the fields.

Danny

[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Full Import of InventTable from navision

2005-01-10 Thread rodrigo Matiazo

Hello all,

Someone already had an experience
importing a database from Navision to Axapta?

The table structure for items
in Axapta is quite different from Navision (inventtable,
inventtablemodule, inventdim) and we need to import 2000 items from our
costumer Navision native database to the Axapta database.

Any help will be helpfull

Thanks,

I take it that you want different report layouts for
each branch?  What version of Axapta are you running?  Are the branches separate companies in Axapta, or are
they all in the same company, and then, how are they
segregated?

Re: [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] VAR/USR Layer changes and data

2005-01-10 Thread Varden Morris

Hi Danny,

You will have to export the data also and then import them in the VAR layer. After exporting the changes in the USR layer you will have to delete the changes.

After you have done this you will be able to inport the changes in the VAR layer. You should then import the data after doinf this.

My German is a bit rusty after not having spoken it for a
few years, but it sounds like you have a sort order problem on
that database.  What sort order are you using for it?  Most
importantly:  How did you create the database/how did you get data in
it?  DTC?  Backup/restore?

What version of SQL + Axapta are you
running?

RE: [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] VAR/USR Layer changes and data

2005-01-10 Thread Jesper Kehlet

Use the SQL Administration/Tables/Synchronize -- it works
just fine, at least in 3.0.

Another way to go about this, and if it's only a few fields
(Caution:  Should be done in 2-tier mode with AOSs shut down, and without
anybody else in the system!):

    1.  In the SqlDictionary table,
find the fields, and change their field ids to the new field ids (5 ->
3), then log out.
    2.  Put the new VAR/USR layer in
there.
    3.  Start Axapta and perform
synchronization to create other new fields etc.

Of course, test it in a test environment before you perform
updates in live environments -- you may experience some trouble that causes it
to go haywire, especially in heavily customized systems.

[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Re: Branch Definition within an Entity and attachment of documents to Branch

2005-01-10 Thread crusader_chen

Hi,

Does each depot has its own customer? If yes, then you can set the
Number sequence group for each customer in the customer master. But
sales order number is only one.

If one customer can purchase from two depots then you can change the
default number sequence group in the sales order header.

Sun Fen

[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Capacity Planning Problem ( Urgent )

2005-01-10 Thread Gokhan Can
Hı
I have 2 questions
1)
I have 16 Work Centers in a Work Center Group
I create a Production order and in the Route of this production I defined count
of Work Center is 6
In my production parameters I set Max conflict solution Qty 100
I ran Job Scheduling an I got an error which says
"too many combination to solve conflicts" and It selects alphabetically first 6
work
center from the work center group "
I changed the Max conflict solution Qty 1000 and ran job scheduling again and
this time computer is locked and I closed AX32.exe.
Can anybody give a hint about this problem.
Or should I not use Axapta Job scheduling to select best work centers , and
select work centers manually.
2)
I have a production order which is registered to an sales order and sales order
and production order qty is same and 1000.
My deals with my customers are I can ship sales order in -+ %2 quantity.
I finished my production and my good quantity is 998.
So for my customer 998 quantity is not a problem but when I try to finish my
production order it gives an error "Production count is reserved and you can
not decrease production quantity" so I can not finish my production order.

Thanks
Gokhan Can
