data source node to "No". This will disable the field everywhere it's
being used on the form. To disable the field on all user interface in
the application you should set the "AllowEdit" property of the field on
the TABLE to "No".

[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Error when copying row definition - AX 4

Hi expert,

I have problem when copying certain row definition. Always show 
error "Error: The value 5637149671 is not found in the map". 

I have done synchronize and reindex but still have the same problem. 
If i copy to other company the value 5637149671 will change to another 
value. 

Any idea what's wrong with this.

[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Customized lookup form

I have made a customized lookup form for the itemId which is used from 
the saleslines in the salesTable form. However when I press ESC on the 
itemId in the lookup it returns to the salesTable form but an "Invalid 
range" error is thrown from the QueryBuildRange.addRange method. When 
debugging the call stack over this method is empty so I don't know why 
and how it is called (must be from the kernel!).

I have tried debugging the lookup form, but apparently neither 
canclose or any of the close methods are called when it is closed by 
ESC. Does anybody know which methods are called when a lookup form is 
closed by pressing escape, or what could possibly cause this problem??

It is version 4.0, and I suspect it's a kernel error as it doesn't 
really make any sense as far as I can see.

couldn't figure out how to solve it with the solution you mention.

If we have a work center group (WCG) with 2 workers in it, working
in shifts. Worker 1 (W1) is working between 08:00-14:00 and worker 2
(W2) is working between 14:00-20:00.
I assign the work to this WCG on the route.
Let's say that the process time is 1 hours per product.
I sell 9 items and run the master scheduling for "job scheduling" I
will have 9 hours of workload in total. (1 hours per product X 9
peaces)
The system assigns the work to the W1 in the morning for 6 hours
(between 08:00-14:00) and for the left 3 hours of work it waits
until the next day 08:00 o'clock until the W1 becomes available
again. The W2 sits free by this time without any workload. Normally
we expect the system to assign the left 3 hours to the W2 to
continue in the second shift. But it doesn't.

This is really very critical for me right now.

Movement,Profit/Loss,Transfer,Bill of Material,Store Return Note and 
GIN..Can any one briely explain about these journalsWhat these 
journals meant for in axapta?

property of the field on the form data source node to "No". This will disable 
the field everywhere it's being used on the form. To disable the field on all 
user interface in the application you should set the "AllowEdit" property of 
the field on the TABLE to "No".

[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Problem Connecting Axapta 40 from .net

Hi Friends,

We are trying to connect to Axapta4.0 from .net application. But will not able 
to connect that by giving specific parameters like Object Server name, and 
client configuration.

Example:
If we give blank parameters, it connects to Axapta4.0. 
But if we give AOS, and Clent Config, it does not connect.
We recieve error as "Server is not available. Trying to connect to another 
server" and then it didnt connect.

Please give us your valuable suggestions,
or can any one explain or send us the code use to connect Axapta 4.0 from .net.


Other than this there is one more doubt,
On what basis Axapta 4.0 logins to a specific application, if we click 
generally to ax32.exe.
I remember in Ax3.0, it connects to an application which is selected as a 
default application in Ax3.0 client Configuration.

Dimension changing can be done from the form of item table->functions->edit 
dimensions. Don't forget to recalculate.
 
Or you may also credit note the false transaction.

Yes you can.

From Inventory-Closing and adjustment table -adjustment button -On-hand 
is selected.

By giving the true criterias you can find your transaction. You can 
make your correction on this page.

the same problem occurs for the production as well. did you receive 
any solution offers about this?

whenever I have an order which exceeds the capasity of one shift it 
doesn't consider transferin the work to the second shift but it 
waits for the same work center comes on the next day... that is 
agains the shifting mentality in production.
