Hi All Has anyone used Axapta Screens on Pocket PC ?? And also I wanted to know that If anyone made integration with MES system in different locations ?? We have 3 different locations which has different MES systems and Axapta on different location. Dear All, I cant find out the different between accounts in inventory posting and item group window. The inventory posting can be found in the customers, customers group, vendors, and vendor groups forms. Meanwhile in item group window, there are sales order, purchase order, , and set up. Dear All, I am confusing to export or import file where they are and xpo file created in AX 3.0 different database (in SQL 2000) but imported to AX 4.0 (in SQL 2005) and AX 3.0 sp5, ? do I must use AX configuration utility ? or directly from administration in menu ? Hi Gökhan, Here we use Axapta thru Terminal Services on Pocket PC and it's working fine. We created new forms that are adapted for Pocket PC (fewer option, bigger button, etc.). Hi all, I am new to this group. I have heard from my friend that this is where everyone in Axapta is. I work on the new Dynamics which is Version 4 and i am pretty new to Microsot Dynamics. I got a small question for everyone. I had managed to make a payment in cheque but i want to print that cheque in the cheque layout format, how can i do that?? [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Object looks different in TerminalServer session
Hi everyone, Yes the subject sounds weird but that's what we get here. I look at a report design margin from my desktop thru 3-Tier connection and I see 15 mm. If I open a TS session and connect thru 3-Tier I see 112.01 mm. Yes I've cleared Axapta client cache file on both side and nobody else is modifying the report. Do the following Steps: 1. Set up the check layout and the check number system (Free/Fixed) from BanksSetup Check Layout 2. Go to APSetupPaymentMethod of Payment and do the necessary setup 3. Create a payment Journal from AP 4. In the Payment Journal Lines Select Method of Payment as Check giving necessary details in the Bank Tab like Paym Reference 5. [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Can Production Job Status Ended be reset?
Dear all, I have production order scheduled and started, with a job ID, for example I have planned 1 hour for that job. Later on I updated the job 3 times via Job Card Journal. Updated and posted 1st journal with 0.25 hour Updated and posted 2nd journal with 0.5 hour Updated and posted 3rd journal with 0.35 hour Total is 1.1 hour (exceeded original plan of 1 hour). The job status now is Ended Then I need to post a correction job card journal, for example I updated and posted 4th journal with -0.5 hour. So after 4th journal my total posted job hours = 0.6 hour (less than planned hour). But when I look into my production job, the job status is still = ended. Why is this? How to reset the job status back to started? Thanks regards Hardi

Hi to all, Is there a function or class in AX which gives the current database , server, user id to connect to the database and the password. In particular, I want to get what is stored in the AX config. I will use this info to call the stored procedures I build in that database. THis way I don't have to create same info for user to fill-up just for this purpose. THanks, Patrick

Hi andreas , If you have assigned accounts with item groups in Inventory Posting window , then it will also be visible in item group window. If you have assigned accounts with All or Table options in posting window then you can also assign different accounts to item groups from item group window. During transaction it will initially pick the accounts assigned with item groups and if not found then will move for other option.
