The Quotation when converted to Sales Order on Ax4Sp2 there is a
bug as the dates are reset all the details set on Quote is over written.

actually i am not a technical guy, but have a question if we are having more 
than 10 companies running on single AOS/File Server /DB. Now if I open another 
company within the same database. But for this company we may need few 
customization like modification of reports/forms , i don’t want to show these 
modified version to other companies . How this could be possible?

[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] How to programatically switch between a Lookup or a ComboBox on the same field.

Hi Everybody

I have a table with two Columns. 
First Column is an Enum with two elements 
Second column is a string. 

Now on the form in the Grid

When user selects first element in first column, second column should 
show a Lookup for another table.
When user selects second element in first column, second column should 
allow an entry from another Enum.

How can I accomplish this.

We can not do that. That is not what layers in Ax do. If you modified a 
form/report then the modification will affect all user that has security access 
to the particular form/report.

Just a note that ODBC doesn't work with DAX 4.0 as it is Unicode.   You need to 
use OLE-DB.   You also need to write your Crystal Report in Unicode or they 
will be 40 to 60 percent slower then DAX 3.0.

Hi Ghosh,
You have to use transfer order type as Stock transfer. The GL posting is 
available only for Stock transfer type and Not for Transfer Order..
Before doing these transaction, you have to activate stock transfer facitlity 
in inventory management > Parameters.
You have to set the posting profile in Inv Mgmt>Setup>Posting>Transfer Order 
tab.
This facility is available only in AX4.0 SP2 and not available in AX4.0 Sp1 or 
any versions before that.
