When trying to post an Invoice for a Purchase order, the error Inventory transactions have not been generated for the line appears. What causes it and how can it be solved? Using Axapta 3 SP3.

PS: If you have a very large number of items u should upload max, 10,000 items at a time as after the copy process you will have 30,000 records in the excel sheet.

As per my knowledge consistency check will not resolve this problem, problem is with inventdimid field of InventItemLocation table (if you check InventItemLocation is the datasource of InventTable and its having join with InventDim table) Records will be visible on form if we have: 1 Item’s record in InventTable 2 Three records in InventTableModule Table (for sales, purch and invent) 3 Record in InventItemLocation table and inventDimId field of this table is having “Axapta” value (that is default value) So what I feel, in your case you’ve not updated the InventItemLocation table correctly…. Just insert “Axapta” in the inventDimId field the u’ll be able to see the records on form…. Dear All, while closing the year end in AX4.0, I gave the Net PL account code in the field 'Account for transfer of year-end result' and the closing is happening fine. But the result of PL account balnce is not transfer to Net pL account code instead of it is transfering the assets liabilities balances to N.PL account code which is wrong. Hi This may be caused by capacity reservations for the past date. Delete the capacity reservations in the past if (and most likely) you are not going to need these records. If I remember correctly, there is also a parameter on Production, which will do this automatically for you. This will delete capacity reservations for ended production orders. Are you just asking how to setup Axapta number sequences as you need to do in each module when you first start using it? If so, for each module go to the Setup tab. Select Parameters. Go to the Number Sequence tab. For each number sequence you need (some are mandatory and some are optional) right click on the number sequence code field and select go to main table. This takes you to the number sequences form where you set up these details for each sequence. I can email you a screen dump of the inventory management one. I am using Axapta 3 - so things may be different for later versions. Allow plenty of time because there are lots of them to do. If this is what you need let me know and I may be able to dig up and post a help document. You can simply pass the journal voucher entries Vendor to Customers. It will settle the Vendors and customers entries against each other. Hi Jay, In HR module, there is a numberSequence for HRMVirtualNetwork by which on basis of enum, we differentiate Employee, contact person, and applicant. Besides setting number sequence code for employee, set for HRMVirtualNetwork also. I hope, it helps... If so, for each module go to the Setup tab. Select Parameters. Go to the Number Sequence tab. This takes you to the number sequences form where you set up these details for each sequence. I can email you a screen dump of the inventory management one. Hi Sir, Yes, we can put features like bold, underline or Italics in Axapta fields. But we have to put these options on Form control level.
