[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Re: 3-Tier Error on Certain PCs
With the help of a network specialist we were able to diagnose this problem and correct it. It turned out to be a setting on the Cisco VPN. With the client open, choose Options, uncheck 'Stateful Firewall (Always On)'. This has resolved the problem on our end. I just wanted to update the log in case someone else runs into this same issue. --- In Axapta-Knowledge-Village@yahoogroups.com, Anthony McChristian anthony.mcchrist...@... wrote: Yes, I am able to ping the server and other machines from the laptop. I cannot believe that this has anything to do with the issue, but it is rather odd. Thank you. Anthony McChristian IT Manager PipeLife Jet Stream, Inc. [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] 3-Tier Error on Certain PCs
I have 2 computers in our environment that produces an error when the user attempts to start 3 tier mode. We are on AX 3.0 SP 5. The error message says that No Microsoft Axapta Object Servers could be located using the current client configuration. We have 25 computers that are working fine using 3-Tier. I have reimported the configuration from the server, uninstalled and reinstalled the AX client, and had our installation partner review the error with me. We have been unable to resolve the problem on these two PCs. Both PCs belong to salesmen who are not usually hooked up to our network and access AX through the VPN, but both have brought their laptops to me onsite and produced the same results. Does anyone have any suggestions to get their 3-Tier functioning again?
[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Main Menu
We are on Axapta 3.0 SP 5 using KR1. I have a request to change the Main Menu so that it does not resize. For instance, if the menu is maximized and you choose the General Ledger option, the menu stays maximized in the background. I have looked through the options and I could not find anything. Any suggestions?
