They also have sample lot inspections and many other inspection types that should satisfy your customer very well. We have an bom item that is on a purchase order for a Production order for a top level assembly. The production order was cut for the top level assembly which then Created demand in the Planned order form for this bom item. We run Master planning on this item then the demand goes away.. Why was demand placed for this item when the production order was cut? Why wouldn't Master planning be updated at the time of the production order creation? Thanks in advance.. [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Seperate labor cost from materials cost on sub-assemblies.
Does anyone have a good process to separate labor costs from sub-assemblies in production Boms? We want to see all labor and material split out at the top level assembly (like the Bom Calc displays this information) after the production order has been costed. Any idea's. [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Slow response from the trade agreement form.
Title: Message I have an upgrade from v2.5MP to v3.0 sp3. I have very slow response time opening up the trade agreements form from Item master. In version 2.5 I had to turn the cache lookup off on the PriceDiscTableto make the form open as expected. Now in 3.0sp3 the cache lookup is off but the table is slow to respond. An info message on the trade agreement form says "There are no active price search dimensions." on the header. Is this the reason why? And if it is... how do I setup price search dimensions? Title: Message You'll have to forgive me but the axapta manuals are not helping me. Here is my situation. Have have 3 locations warehouses A, B, C. three different cities. Sales order is placed In Warehouse A. Planned production order is placed in Warehouse A. All items associated to build this production order are all on hand in different locations in AX to AY.And 1 Sub Bill of material built in Warehouse C with all the parts to be pulled for this BOM in Warehouses CX to CY. How do I set up the item coverage form to make this happen? Do I need to set up every single warehouse for every item including shared items that have to exist in evry warehouse available? How are inventory transfers handled by the Master planning? I would expect my sub assembly would have a transfer order automatically created for the top level assembly. This was much simpiler in 2.5 because all I had to do in the warehouse setup form on the Master planning tabis setup the AX warehouse to Coverage warehouse field to A. All works as expected. Any help would be appreciatedthe axapta manuals are no help at alland Iam sure there is a setting I am missing. I seem to get locked processes when trying to do the update. The jobs that get hung up will not show executing in the data update cockpit. But do show as executing in the Batch list. I understand that we can open up many clients to do the update quicker; but immediatly after opening up more than two clients (DataUpdate Cockpit, and the client to run Jobs.)I get locked processes and Sql will not release the locked process. The answer to my question is this. A new class was created in a lower layer by the name of X. What happens when this class is created it now becomes an object and not a variable. Since X ia an object now it cannot be used as a variable. Then you will get an syntax error anywhere it is declared as Int h,x,y; Myrl Thanks all for responding. P.S. Looks to me that the axapta standard when using naming conventions is to use a 3 letter sufix to signify what module you are working with. ex. smm, BAS, BM, CAC, HRM etc.. For us when different consultants work on our system and create new objects I ask them to always use the first 3 letters of the company they work for. Check to see if an inventdimId exists in the salesline. If the inventory dimension does not exist on the salesline the record will not show. The innerjoin linktype property of the datasource on the inventDim table has to have a record to match a record of InventdimId from the salesline. Once there is a match the record will show. [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Tutorial Journal Table
Title: Message There is Tutorial forms, classes and tablesin Axapta for creating journals. The problem is the tables are temporary and cannot be used because some of the Menu items don't exist and the functionality is gone.I tried to repair them but no luck.How can I repairthe tutorialto make it work so I can learn the ins and outs of creating a whole new journal system? I have so for Changed the tables from temporary to permanent then the buttons on the journal form are disabled. Then I got stuck.
