Re: [AZORES-Genealogy] Searching Dias/Dyers family Grasciosa
Liz, Thanks for recommending this site on annunciation. I put in some Portuguese family names and had to replay them several times to be able to hear how they were pronounced. Patsy, we pronounce our name incorrectly, LOL. Also, what I found interesting was that when writing Vieira or Anselmo alone nothing was listed under the names. But when I wrote the names together, Vieira Anselmo, Translate from: _Finnish_ (javascript:void(0)) , appeared under the names. The annunciation stayed the same. Ava Vieira Anselmo in Ribeira Seca, Sao Miguel Pinheiro, Nunes, Silveira in Praia do Almoxarife and Pedro Miguel, Faial Silveira, Rodrigues in Sao Jorge In a message dated 9/28/2011 9:32:10 A.M. Hi there, I speak Portuguese and I'm almost sure that James translate to Jaime. Also I would speculate that Bario could be Dario.
