Ahoy There!

Go Again in the page.

http://censos.ine.pt/xportal/xmain?xpid=INExpgid=censos_historia_pt

maybe... you should try To Click in one of the Census.

let´s say 1864 and then it will appear

http://censos.ine.pt/xportal/xmain?xpid=INExpgid=censos_historia_pt_1864

In this page...on the Left sideYou will see Several Documents

( that look like pictures but are not, because the Portuguese government
has no sense of beauty or fun, trust me. I would Know!)

Click again in one of the pictures

You will see on the left the words

 Publicação

(picture of a book cover)

Questionario

(pictures of questions)

Legislação

(Law stuff)

Then click again on the picture of Book cover that is actually a PDF. All
are PDF

and download and save for your PC

OK?

Try it and feed back.

 why would that be?

 Thank you.

Visiting relatives ?

Many of the original 15th century settlers of the Azores came from the
Flanders region, a byproduct of the Hundred Years' Anglo-French war and the
English Treaty of Windsor signed with Portugal in the late 14th century.
