The age would be stated in the 3rd period of marriages.  Or is that 2nd
period?  It's not in any of the baptisms.

Again, you need to READ this about how to trace your ancestors:
goo.gl/HXmQPB

You DID NOT find your ancestor's naturalization record.  You found an index
card.  If you read the section on naturalization, you will see you need to
order the naturalization packet from the USCIS.

You will need to figure out which Francisco is yours coming into America.
Since you were on the CCA site, reading the records of a particular
freguesia, you should be concentrating on that freguesia. And that
Francisco coming to America is yours.

Ilha = Island
Concelho = Council (like American counties)
Freguesia = freguesia.  It doesn't translate properly. It's the village.

The organization can be found in my How To that I've posted.  Here it is
again:

30+ pages.  You really need to read this.  Over and over again, as there is
a lot of information in it.  If you have your freguesia (village) though,
you only need the 2nd or the 3rd part.

Or check two years before the date you have. I have found more than once
that relatives will state they were born 1867 but when I find baptism its 2
yrs earlier in 1865

Which record?  Number 5, left bottom for Joao?  He's the son of Manuel
Esteves Ferreira and Maria Emilia, paternal grandson of Joao Esteves
Ferreira and Delfina Julia and maternal grandson of Agostinho Goncalves
Duarte and Josefa de Jesus.

I can't tell you if it's the right one or not.  You'll have to decide based
on your family names.
