"No space left on device" means exactly that. Bacula cannot continue when the
storage location is filled to 100%

Please show us proof that there is space available on the partition where
`/mnt/test` lives.

Best regards,
Bill

Hello,

Thanks for the reply.

The disk of these volumes is with enough space. The volumes are filled and

pool. Bacula should not return error because it is full, this is the normal

Hello,

The message is clear:

In a shell prompt, do:

# df -h

And you will see that the partition that `/mnt/text` is on is filled to 100%.

Hope this helps,
Bill

[Bacula-users] Error closing volume

2023-12-01 Thread Senor Pascual
Hello everyone,

[SI0202] End of Volume "Backup-test-0050" at 1201665184 on device "test"
(/mnt/test). Write of 64512 bytes got 2912.
Error: Error closing volume "Backup-test-0050" device "test" (/mnt/test).
ERR=No space left on device.

I am having these errors in the volumes lately. I don't relate it to
anything. I have not modified anything in terms of versions of services,
storage configuration, volumes, pools, etc... The volumes are being stored
on a hard disk.
Previously this error did not happen and they were created or purged adding
information in them without any problem.

I started to jump these errors for no reason. Can anyone tell me about this
particular error? I have not found anything in the email list about this
error.

Versions:
Bacula 13.0.3 director, storage and client.
PostgreSQL 16 Catalog

I hope someone can help me. Thanks. Best regards,

[Bacula-users] General autochanger info...

2023-12-01 Thread Marco Gaiarin

Someone here gift me a autochanger (and entry level one; a Tandberg NEOs
StorageLoader:
https://www.overlandtandberg.com/products/neo-tape/neos-storageloader/

that seems an BDT FlexStor - 1U remarked:
https://www.bdt.de/en/products-solutions/storage-automation/

) and say me 'make it work with bacula'.

I'm some experience with bacula and clearly i know generally the scope and
principle of a tape library, but nothing more.

I feel i'm missing something; for example i've not clear how the barcode
labelling of tapes have to match with bacula media labelling; i've seen
'label barcodes' commands, but i'm not clear if this is mandatory or i can
have barcodes and labels that differs...

There's some introductory document on 'bacula and autochangers', apart
manual indeed?

Thanks.
