Hi Christy. Thanks! I am sorry it took so long to reply. I have 2452 unread messages in my inbox, so I am a bit behind, to say the least :-/ My 5 yr old dd is autistic due to vaccination. When the doctor said he wanted to vaccinate her, I had a really bad feeling about it and said that I wasn't comfortable with him doing it that day. He went ballistic and said that we were already behind, and threatened that he would 'report' me to CPS and that I would lose my child if I didn't do it that day. I had NO CLUE of my rights at that time, and I caved, thinking I would lose my child if I didn't. Well, we did lose her, just in another way. She was never herself again after that day, and we have never been back to another doctor after that day, except for the hospital last week for my oldest daughter. I have gotton so far out of the medical world that I even give birth now with no outside intervention (including midwives, or as is more common, medwives). ***Now in Kentucky we are blessed to have an MD who is also a homepathic/ anthroposophical doctor. *** I would like to know more about this doctor and where he is located. I am feeling that we need to see someone to be able to put down as our 'family doctor' pretty quick here. I can't believe it is coming to this, but I will NOT lose my children. As the nurse stepped out of the room to get something to clean it up, I dumped the rest down the sink :-) We went to the health food store the next morning and got some great herbal tea that has a few natural antibiotics in it, as well as some good tasting chewable tablets that were made from cranberries. The infection is almost completely gone now, without antibiotics (of course!) Anyway, CPS just showed about 10 minutes ago, because the hospital turned us in for not vaccinating! My heart is still in my throat!!! She said she just needed to make sure it wasn't a money issue or anything like

Dear Jennifer, I have never vaccinated my children, and I have been yelled at and threatened to be reported to social services by a doctor, plus treated very badly on many occasions at our local health department. Now in Kentucky we are blessed to have an MD who is also a homepathic/ anthroposophical doctor. I drove 21/2 hours to see him this fall, for my daughter to have a visit with him. When he asked me if I immunized, and I said no, he said " I am so glad". It was the most wonderful experience to have a competent medical doctor support my descision. He has also been very supportive in helping me equipe myself with home remedies, since I am 2 1/2 hours away from the nearest health food store. I am so sorry you are having to deal with this. Is there any way you could establish a relationship with a good natural doctor in your area? I would be interested in knowing where you live. You may already know about them, but I have had excellent results with the Weleda remedies for colds and flu, started at first signs of on set of symptoms.
