Re startup issues, you may get some useful debugging info if you start the server from the command line with --perfwarn=0.5 On windows I would expect the artwork cache purge to report that it takes a short while, the question is how long? -- Triode Triode's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=43687 ___ beta mailing list beta@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/beta

Jim, Please file a bug and upload the log file there. If you could enable network.squeezenetwork and network.asynchttp debugging (watch your log file size...) this could provide additional information. Re: [SlimDevices: Beta] web interface doesn't connect
I don't run firewalls within my internal network and nothing had changed in networks terms for at least the last thirty nightlies! Whilst trying to get it going again I re-installed last nights nightly and then the night before... rebooting each time (out of desperation) to no avail. Then I reinstalled tonights nightly and deleted all files in: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SqueezeCenter\Cache\MySQL (which includes the 10mb ibdat1 file) and rebooted. The files I deleted seem to be recreated almost instantly and then all was fine. No rescan required. Which can't be correct. So maybe I was mistaken about deleting them? This seems to be a more and more commonly reported problem with SqueezeCenter 7. Has anyone figured out yet whether it's the new skin barfing or a failure on the server end?
