[Blind-Computing] Accessible MP3 Player?

2009-11-20 Thread Gerald Levy

Hi listers. Does anyone have experience with the Coby MP200 2gb MP3 player or
similar model? J&R has it on sale this weekend for $9.99 with free shipping,
and from the product description, it sounds like it could be blind accessible,
like the discontinued Zen Stone, because it has no display or menus and only a
few buttons to deal with. Any thoughts?

Hi,
Minimum version 12, because Norton ghost 9 is good working, but didn't see
SATA disks.
In this case I recommend Norton ghost 12, respective. You an have installed
Norton ghost 9. which is accessible better than 12 and you must have for
recovering Norton ghost 12 CD, which see SATA disks and it's compatible
with images created in Norton Ghost 9.
With best regards,

Hmmm, I was hoping to give you a chance to read your newly created file
here

in Excel that you just made, since you said you would try to find another
format to save it to than Excel.
Also, you can press the jaws key and H while in Excel to hear a variety of
other jaws key functionality for Excel.
A tip on this key combo is, it also gives other jaws keys to use for other
applications, it's not just for Excel.

Good luck with your project...

Mike,

You don't use Excel?
Excel works very easy without having to set anything up in the program.
You can either tab across the row from one cell to the next, or you can
use
the right/left arrow keys. Jaws key and #8 reads the current line,
up/down

arrow moves you in that direction and Jaws says what it's landing on.
Of course there are more keys to do more things within Excel, but just
for

reading something, these keys do the job just fine.
I've never had any problems using Excel starting with Jaws 3.7 and Excel
2000, I currently use 2003 and can't tell any difference.
If your unsure as to what Excel looks like, think of it as a grid
pattern,

with horizontal and vertical lines.
You can save an Excel spreadsheet into Word, but it will turn it into
columns and tables. Which basically is like Excel except the navigation
keys
are much different.

[Blind-Computing] Disabling Java Scripting in Firefox.

Maria,
Yes it might for sights that require it. There is some vonrabailities that I
found out about from the Security Now podcast. This is one of Leo LaPorte's
casts co hosted by Steve Gipson. Since Java coding is now 14 years old there
has been code that might affect your PC. I know this is a little to much
info for the average user, but its your choice to disable it or not. HTH.

2009-11-20 Thread Donnie Parrett
Skype is a free program that you can download from
www.skype.com
You have to have a microphone to talk. You can also get a plan for $2.97 per
month and make
unlimited calls to anywhere in the United States. It is an awesome little
program.
