[Blind-Computing] Any Tutorials on How to Record a Tutorial?
Hi Folks, I have tried to look at various locations, but have not been able to find a tutorial, written or in audio, on how to record a tutorial using my computer. I have heard the type of tutorial I would like to record, that being one with Jaws and my voice being recorded at the same time, but I haven't seen any out there that teach one what settings/programs to use, or what sort of set-up I would need in order to accomplish this sort of thing. I do have a headset/microphone combo and GoldWave, latest build at my disposal, so it's not like I"m lacking, so it's just a matter of letting me know how I can make it so Jaws comes through the recording as part of the recording, and not something that just happens to be caught by my microphone in the background, if that makes any sense. Sheepish Grin. If anyone knows of a location where I can find something of this nature, I would really appreciate it. Thanks all. Re: [Blind-Computing] How to rip mp3's to computer using Media player 11
okay, give these steps a whirl for ripping; I should also indicate, these steps assume your using windows media player as your default, 1, insert a cd which you wish to rip; 2, wait a few seconds, then you should hear some music from windows media player. press ctrl+s=stop, now, shift+tab 8 times, you should land on the rip button, you can press enter. note, the 7th shift+tab will land you on, the rip menu, you can change options there if you wish. so once you enter on the rip button, a list of song will come up, if you want the whole cd ripped, then tab to rip button, if you only want certain tunes, then uncheck the ones you don't want ripped, then again, tab and enter on rip button. -Original Message- From: blind-computing-boun...@jaws-users.com [mailto:blind-computing-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of DoubleLegal Sent: Thursday, April 14, 2011 1:45 PM To: Blind Computer Users Subject: [Blind-Computing] How to rip mp3's to computer using Media player 11 Hi everyone, I just upgraded to Windows Media Player 11. Re: [Blind-Computing] Windows 7 Maximum ram
I suppose it depends on the speed of the processor, width/speed of the front side bus, and if you use the system heavy or not. I think there is a limit to how much added RAM will help speed. e. g. drinking one can of Red Bull might wake you up to do stuff faster but 4 cans isn't going to help much in that direction, you'll only go so fast anyway :). I think for best performance it is best to have all the same size RAM installed so that is something too. I guess if its working fine how you use it I'd probably save the money.
