It is a wicked Trojan that I had removed from my machine in the last few days. While my machine is now clean it has permanently damaged my connection stacks and I need to replace my hard drive, and I can't copy this one. It seems the most effective method of dealing with it is using a program in Malware Bites called Chameleon. I think (but am not sure) it can only be accessed through dos so I'm not sure how easy (or otherwise) it might be to use with screen reading software. I'm not up to that sort of computer maintenance so I'm passing along my recent observation of how my tech dealt with it. This thing's primary target seems to be your internet connections, and it disables or damages programmes like Malware bites which makes it tricky to deal with. Best of luck! [Blind-Computing] External Folder Question.
Hello, How do you delete a file or folder from your external drive, when the conventional way of pressing the delet key, or pressing the applications key, and then up or down arrow to the delete key, and press enter on it does not work? The file or folder name has series of numbers, for example: 6000123456789333, and inside of the folder are others files which I did not create. Thanks for your help. Hello, First of all, remove Norton. In my experience it made the machine lag and was generally a pain in the ass. I use Microsoft security essentials and recommend it to all Windows users. It's so unobtrusive as it just runs in the background. As for WLM, once she familiarizes herself with the program it doesn't require two many things in the way of shortcuts or commands. It's quite a simple layout. What version is she using? 2009 or the more recent versions with the ribbon? Hope this helps! I have a friend who wants to play some of the rsgames but I can't get it installed because she has norton installed on this computer and it keeps blocking the installation. I was able to get nvda installed on the computer, but for some reason, I can't get rsgames installed. Also, she uses windows live mail for email and she is wanting a list of commands so she can familiarize herself better with how the program worksetc. If someone could send me some information on this, I'd appreciate it. [Blind-Computing] problems opening files in microsoft access
Hi. I am having problems opening files in Microsoft access. When I open windows explorer and go to the file and press enter it creates another file with the same name as the file I want to open with the file extension of .laccdb. Any idea what's wrong?
