go into settings tap on wifi, put in your info name of your network and
password, and save it if there's a save button think so. then it should be
an automatic thing when your away and come back it will be there. you can
ways check in settings on the 4/s and right after airplane turned off, is
the wifi and your name of your wifi should be there.
also, if you go to someone elses and you enter there info to use, the 4/s
will always remember it and when your at that location, it will be
automatically there as the wifi.
I have a 4/s too.

When I am at home I always use my wifi for my IPhone 4s. When I leave my
IPhone automatically switches to 3G. When I return home it will not
automatically switch back to wifi, but I have to go in and manually change
it back. Is there a setting adjustment I can change to make it
automatically pick up wifi when it is available?

Thanks,

Re: [Blind-Computing] Accessing My Router

2013-02-16 Thread Mike B.
Hi Again Mark,

This is what I learned from 1 of my best friends about how to access a
router since I typed to you last:

1. type, C M D, into the run dialogue using lower case letters & press enter
to open the command prompt.
2. Now, type, ipconfig, & press enter. That's I P C O N F I G.
3. Now, route the Jaws cursor to the PC cursor, press page up, & arrow down
1 line at a time until you hear,
Default gateway & the numbers next to, Default Gateway will be your IP
address.

Default Gateway 192.168.1.1

The numbers including the points is your Router IP address.

4. Press the PC cursor key to go back to the PC cursor & type, exit, & press
enter to exit the command prompt.
5. When you put your IP address into the run dialogue you need to put,
http://, in front of the IP address. So, this is what it would look like in
the run dialogue:

http://192.168.1.1

6. Type, http://192.168.1.1,
into the Run Dialogue & press enter. Now, tab to the password edit field,
type in your password, tab to okay, & press enter. You will now be in your
router
settings.

The IP address for your or anyone elses router might be different than the 1
above but, look for Default Gateway to find your IP address.

Take care.

Hi
I could be wrong, but the only way I know of to be completely certain
of getting the router brand is to ask a sighted person. Once you have that
you can search the web for the IP addresses used by the manufactorer.
Sometimes the mottle number is not clear even to a sighted person. One trick
to find the brand of router is: if you have your wireless on your router
turned on, look in your wireless connection. If it is lleft in the basic
format, it will say something like 2wire 482. Where 2wire is the brand and
482 is the mottle number. If you are lucky and are able to find this
information under the wireless connection. it makes searching for the IP
address faster.
 I hope this helps.

Hello friends, greetings again.

Here I am with another problem, this time of my own making.

Each time I select multiple tracks in Winamm it will play the first
track

in
the selection but will not play the other tracks in the list.

Now what have I done again?
