[Blind-Computing] Firefox install problem.
Hi all, I am trying to install Firefox 3, however after clicking the install button, the installer just hangs. It says not responding, and I cannot do anything with it. It has done it every time I have tried to install Firefox in the past. Does anyone have any ideas how I can fix this? Hi, Yes, this is correct. You cannot just go around moving programs from the desktop to the systray and back again, the OS will not allow it. Hi, Rodger, just curious which e-mail provider are you using for all these e-mail addresses? Sorry if you have answered this question before. At one time or another, we have probably been to a web page which was quite inaccessible with screen readers. The link below would be a nice one for people to have if they have any question at all as to why an accessible web is important. In the main window of the program, there is a button labeled preferences. Tab to it and hit space or enter on it. Then, using your Jaws cursor, move to the top of the window. After that, hit down arrow. You should here a list of tabs, the last of which is help, so hit the end key, followed by ctrl left arrow, then left click on it. Then, arrow down until you get to the "click here to activate" option, still using your Jaws cursor. I hate that program with a passion. My reasons? [Blind-Computing] Nod32 question.
Hi all, I have just got a copy of Nod32 Anti-virus version 2.7, and it is telling me my virus signitures are out of date and that I should update them. So, how would I go about doing this? I have looked through the program's interface and cannot find a single option that will let me update my signitures. Also, is it possible to skedual updates every day, like I used to do with AVG? Ah, I am using IE7 with XP pro, that's probably why its different. I prefer it this way anyway, as it plays a sound every time a site is blocked, so as soon as i here that noise, i can simply hit escape and i don't even have to deal with the dialog. When I navigate to a blocked site, I get the dialog box that says: connect to anysite.com dialog. username edit combo and password edit combo Then all I have to do is hit escape on this dialog box and the site I am on loads up, unless it is a completely blocked site like adds.doubleclick.net.
