Press windows key, press c for control pannel, then select taskbar and start

checked".

Subject: [Blind-Computing] System Tray items not appearing

> Hi list,
>
> I have recently had an upgrade of my system. It is Windows XP with Jaws
> 9.0. Generally I've not had any problems with the upgrade but have
> noticed that only one item appears in the System Tray and that's AVG.
>
> For several years I've always put Jaws in the System Tray to clear the
> Desktop. Jaws is not on the Desktop and not in the System Tray. There
> are other items also missing from the System Tray like Volume and other
> things: To get to Jaws I have gone back to using Insert J.
>
> Anyone know what the problem is?
