Exactly. You can also use ctrl+1 through 8 to move to a specific tab. I find this useful if I have a lot of open tabs. Ctrl+4 will quickly give me the 4th tab and ctrl+7 the 7th tab etc. Much faster than ctrl+tab or ctrl+shift+tab. -Original Message- From: blind-computing-boun...@jaws-users.com [mailto:blind-computing-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Donald Marang Sent: 11. mars 2010 16:16 To: blind-computing@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] IE 8 settings Thanks, I will give that a try next time. Hi Don: Ctrl+9 will put you back on the page. This works fine with IE8 (tab browsing enabled) and JAWS11. It should also work fine with IE7. I'm not sure if it will work if tab browsing is disabled. I use the tab browsing feature all the time. It's very useful to have multiple web sites inside the same window, just pressing ctrl+tab to switch between them. -Original Message- From: blind-computing-boun...@jaws-users.com [mailto:blind-computing-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Donald Marang Sent: 11. mars 2010 08:41 To: blind-computing@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] IE 8 settings I do not know if there is anything you can do about that. It is supposed to make most of the toolbar areas accessible just by Tabbing around after reaching the bottom of the page. It is occasionally nice to be able to get to these areas. Most of the time it is just annoying! Especially since the focus sometimes moves to this area and I get lost. When this happens, the best way to find my way back to the page is to press F6 until it announces it is in the address bar. Then I press Shift + F6, to get back to the page. I usually then use Control + Home to get to the top of the page. If anyone has found a better way, I would like to know about it.
