The exact wording is copy public link; when you enter that it copies the actual link to the clipboard, then you can paste it wherever you'd like to share it. It's not so necessary to zip the files first though some recommend it with MP3s as they tend to open when doubleclicked (pressed enter on); in this case if you want to rather save rightclick/save via the context menu instead. Mike, Working same as always here. I just recently set this back up, as you well know, so not sure what to suggest. Do you want to try deleting your public folder and then recreate it? There was an link on here an few days ago by an member with directions on how to do this. Glad it worked for ya. This is an interesting topic because, like when I put something from my laptop into a folder I've named transfer, which is going to my desktop xp machine, this does not have to be zipped. I guess cause I'm not needing to download it, just grab it out of the transfer folder of the xp computer, just swapping I guess. You only need to zip if there are multiple files, that you are wanting to send at once.
