Hi Elaine,

Here are the steps to compact your folders for Outlook Express.
1. While in OE press Alt +F for the file menu.
2. Arrow down to the "folder" choice and press enter or just press the
letter " F ".
3. Arrow up 1 time to compact all and press enter or again, just press
the

Hope this has helped. Take care.

Hi Elaine,
Just a guess here but this has fixed strange things like when Outlook
would
open 2 copies of itself for no apparent reason.
Try going to tools, options, control tabbing to Mail setup, tab to and
spacebar on datafiles, tab to and spacebar on settings, tab to and
spacebar
on compact now and wait for it to complete, a few escapes will close the
dialogs or you can tab to all the ok buttons.

Re: [Blind-Computing] outlook express acting strange

2009-06-19 Thread Jon C. Pierson
Hi Elaine,
Just a guess here but this has fixed strange things like when Outlook would
open 2 copies of itself for no apparent reason.
Try going to tools, options, control tabbing to Mail setup, tab to and
spacebar on datafiles, tab to and spacebar on settings, tab to and spacebar
on compact now and wait for it to complete, a few escapes will close the
dialogs or you can tab to all the ok buttons.

hi Rosemarie

how weird, recently I've had the same issues.

to solve it I close OE and re open it again.

I wasn't sure if it was a jaws issue so I rebooted that too.

somehow rebooting both solves it.

yet, I've no clues as to why it happens or what causes it. sorry.

hope this helps.

Hi, everyone,

I'mhaving a strange problem now with outlook express. When I read a
message and try to put it in the delete folder, I get a message saying
"do you want toperminently delete these messages". The messages I try
to delete aren't going into the delete folder like they're supposed
to. How can I solve this problem?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.
Rosemarie
